Melvin is generally a kind-spirited, cheerful, happy-go-lucky man who loves fighting, dancing and composing music rhythms. He tends to always see the positive side of everything in life, constantly displaying a highly happy mood and rarely getting upset, angry or sad, even under the worst circumstances. Which is why you would always see him with a smile. However, despite this laid-back attitude, Melvin does not tolerate belligerents who make trouble at his performances, literally kicking them out if necessary. MJ is a guy who treats most things by the notion that there can be fun to be had and if there can be fun to be had he will have it. He does his best at all times and tries to enjoy life to the fullest, which is why he is a fighter here in AFW. He really enjoys what he does and generally doesn't have any problem with people, doesn't overtly matter how mean or bitchy people are, he will usually try and see the good in them.

Strategy/Style: The general idea when you see Melvin in action is that he rarely stands still, always constantly on the move at all times. His style is a mix of the fancy caporeira and Jamaican Kickboxing, making use of his body and the momentum, using very tricky moves to throw the opponent off before capitalizing. He doesn't believe in having a match going in a snails pace and just likes to keep it fast paced, even not going with submissions as they are mostly slams and strikes.
