Possible Domain Name Issue (EVERYONE READ)

Hey everyone,
There might be a little problem coming up regarding our domain name. Previously we've been able to enjoy the www.afwrpg.com domain name as aposed to the default www.afwrpg.forumotion.com because yearly when it comes up for renewal I talk to a specialist over at Forumotion and they are able to gift us use of the domain name because the traffic for the forum is so high.

This time when I tried to message my contact, I discovered that they have now left Forumotion.. apparently they actually worked for the company Forumotion in France, where as most of the others on the support forum are volunteers who don't have the power (or are not in the position) to grant us the domain name like we've had it in the past. They are messaging the company about this and we'll have to see if they'll grant us the domain name for free like before.

In the meantime, our domain name will expire in 5 days time... So please save the www.afwrpg.forumotion.com website to your favourites and if you find that you suddenly can not access the site via the www.afwrpg.com site, you will have to use the default www.afwrpg.forumotion.com site (which presently redirects everyone to the current afwrpg.com site).

Short term, hopefully we'll find out whether we will be able to get the domain name again free before it expires in 5 days time.. But if we don't find out there might be some down time on the usual web address while we wait and see what forumotion decide.
Long term, if we were to lose the domain name it will effect any links we have set up. We'll cross the bridge of deciding what to do if Forumotion doesn't grant us the domain name free if/when it comes to that.. But I am considering alternative arrangement to keep our domain name

Well fuck, here's hoping we keep our domain name. Changing links, especially for those of us that make history sections in our wrestler pages like Lunar, is a bitch. Dx

Should we start saving our threads? I thought this was just links on the site getting broken

I am confused over what Underdog said. Like Boose, I thought this just breaks the links under "AFWRPG.com" domain. Aren't the threads autosaved to AFWRPG.Forumotion.com ?

As long as you add all your own created threads and pages to your favorites list, which you do by clicking on the actions button above the first post of a thread in a page and clicking on add to favorites, you pretty much have all your stuff easily accessible.
