Personality:
Smug. Bratty. Incredibly condescending. Vera is petty and selfish to an extreme, and is incredibly slow to make friends (and quick to make enemies) because of it. When she goes into a match, past history be dammed, she will act like she is the hot shit until she is proven otherwise. Of course... once she is proven otherwise, she is equally quick to beg and plead for mercy, not being terribly good at dealing with pain. However, despite this begging and pleading, she is still a tough nut to fully crack, be it the tiniest shred of hope, conceit, or just stubborn pride that keeps her holding on.

When she's not in the ring, Vera acts about as smug and intolerably rude as she is in it, though the truth is that this is just a mask. Deep down, Vera is afraid, of her future, of every upcoming match, of anyone who might want to hurt her, and anyone who might look down on her just as much. It's possible that beneath all this fear is a sweet, gentle girl, but when caught between her pride and her fear, Vera's only response is to be as selfish and cruel as her little body can manage.

Past/History:
Since the day she was born, Vera has lived in an environment where she didn't fit in. The only daughter to a powerful Ukrainian mob boss, she was expected to be tough and decisive, but as a little girl she was far too gentle and kind. Her father wanted her to have the opportunity for a normal life, but the reality was that their lifestyle was deep rooted in violence and cruelty. When she turned 16, however, her father was assassinated and his trusted adviser took temporary control of the family. More firm about toughening Vera up, he had her trained in some basic Combat Hopak and demanded that she find somewhere to gain the mettle she needed to lead the family. When she turned 18, she decided on the AFW (which was one of the few organizations to accept her), and flew to Japan, temporarily exiled until she came back with proof she was ready to lead.

Fun Facts:
-Vera's abdomen is incredibly sensitive. It is, without a doubt, her biggest Achilles' heel.
-One thing Vera continually laments about is the lack of good pierogi in Japan. She has silently vowed to seek out every place that serves it until she finds one worthy of her approval.
-Vera is very fond of dogs, but slightly afraid of cats. She finds them suspicious and hard to read.
-Even though her father's adviser had Vera sent to Japan on her own, her mother semi-frequently sends luxurious care packages to make her life more comfortable.
-Vera is terrible with computers. She even manages to mess up the software on her phone from time to time, though she can never explain how.
