Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
MATCH TYPE: Standard
VICTRY CONDITIONS: Pinfall, Submission, Count Out, KO, DQ
Suzumi was already in her wrestling gear pacing back and forth. She wanted to show this snobby, arrogant, and above all totally stupid bitch up. The Tsunami was here to stay, and Suzumi was gonna show her she was worthy of the fans love, any accolades she earned, and of her title as one of the best submission wrestlers in the game.
As her music played Suzumi burst out to the ramp to the loud cheers of the fans. She beamed as she waved both hands at them, blowing kisses and making sure to strut just a bit, accentuating her hip swaying as she made her way down to the ring. Suzumi climbed onto the apron and bent over to climb between the ropes, shaking her backside a bit to the whistles of the crowd. She basked in their energy, as the cheers continued. She settled calmly into a corner and waited for Samiya to make her way down.
Beneath her cheerful looking exterior, Suzumi was very serious about taking this woman apart piece by piece. She would tap out to Suzumi before the night was over if she had her way....

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
As soon as Suzumi’s entrance was done, it was Samiya’s turn to come out.
It was her first televised match of the year so a few of the fans were caught off guard by her new theme, the adapted version of Divide still more than suiting the tattooed grappler. Similarly, as with her match against Valley Doll, she’d disdained the long coat she’d worn for her first few matches.
Instead, she wore her liquid black one piece with the tights, her purple hair cascading down her back in a silky sheet. Unlike Suzumi, her stride was all business as she headed to the ring, though the Schoolgirl Assassin did pause to slap any offered hands as she passed.
There was a slight smile on her lips as she pulled herself up onto the apron before ducking into the ring with her arms spread wide. She always did it, seeking the attention of the fans, but it served another purpose today. It was a message to Suzumi – come and have a go if you think you’ve got what it takes.
”Ready to retire?” If that wasn’t enough, she threw a taunt her opponent’s way, stretching her solid arms in preparation for the upcoming violence. No point trying to trick Suzumi into shaking hands but Samiya would be more than happy to make her tap the old-fashioned way.
More than happy to show all those cheering fans that Suzumi wasn’t worthy of their praise.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi watched Samiya as she entered, and couldn't wait to rip her apart. Same taunted with a smile and Suzumi was ready to wipe that look off her face. "I'm ready to shut you up and make you regret ever attacking me." Suzumi said to the shorter, thick lady in front of her.
As the bell rang Suzumi circled Samiya a bit and moved in to grapple, trying to quickly grab at Samiya's arm and twist it behind her for a simple hammerlock. Nothing fancy but Suzumi doubted that Samiya had the speed to keep up with her. Striking fast was going to be a big key for Suzumi tonight. She was confident but she knew she had to be completely focused. If Samiya was willing to hammer her with a weapon backstage there was no telling what she was capable of herself.
Indeed, Suzumi had to be ready for anything!

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Samiya’s grin just widened further as Suzumi threw her words back at her. She doubted the older wrestler could do anything that would make the Assassin regret attacking her but she was more than happy to wait and see.
Not that she was kept waiting long. The bell rang, the two circled briefly before Suzumi shot in fast for the first grapple. Samiya was already turning but the Tsunami was as quick as her namesake. Definitely quicker than Samiya, though the tattooed wrestler was not slow, and she was able to secure one of the Assassin’s arms and wrench it up behind her. Naturally, to the cheers of the fans, who were more than happy to see the unpopular newcomer on the backfoot already.
True, they knew that this was only the beginning but it was a good start as far as they were concerned. Not so much for Samiya.
Strong as she was, Samiya couldn’t just power out of a hammerlock. Instead, gritting her teeth, she turned into it to send an elbow into Suzumi’s midriff. It didn’t need to do much, she just needed to loosen the grip and keep the other wrestler still for a moment. That’d give her a moment to grab a hold of Suzumi and throw her over into a Fireman’s Carry Slam.
If it worked, that was. If not, well, Samiya would just keep on throwing elbows.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
The elbow strike was just hard enough to get Suzumi to loosen her grip and Samiya indeed was ready. Suzumi groaned as she was lift up and screamed as the fireman carry slam hit home! She rolled onto her side, grabbing at her back as she laid on the mat!
This was far from the start Suzumi envisioned, but she could still make up for it. However, Samiya was strong and this slam kept her grounded for quite some time....

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
No doubt Suzumi had been thinking of taking the hammerlock and turning it into something else. Something decidedly worse, which was why Samiya was so keen to get the other wrestler off her back as soon as she could.
Thus, it was a relief when the hold slackened as her elbow sunk home. It was also pretty satisfying when, as Samiya scooped her up and sent her over, Suzumi actually screamed before the even more satisfying crash of impact. It hadn’t been that hard a slam, of course, but it was more than enough to take the wind out of the Tsunami’s sails.
Down on one knee by Suzumi’s side as the older wrestler arched up, Samiya promptly dropped to the mat. Scooting up to the other grappler’s side, the tattooed woman went to slide her legs, short but thick with muscle, around Suzumi’s waist for a bodyscissors. At the same time, her solid arms went to secure an arm triangle – locking Suzumi’s neck and one of her own arms with her own, so that the shoulder pressed the carotid on that side closed.
It wasn’t going to be the winning move, she was sure Suzumi was a better fighter than that. But Samiya viewed this as a good chance to start wringing the fight out of her, making it easier for her in the long run to wear her opponent down and submit her.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
From bad to worse was a big understatement. Suzumi used the triangle choke enough to know how much it sucked. The vice grip legs of Samiya crushing her ribs coupled with her foes powerful arms choking the life out of her was more than enough reason to reaffirm how much this move sucked! Suzumi gasped for breath and knew the hold was secure, the agony mounting with each passing second!
She had to do something and fast. She knew the ropes were nearby and now was not the time to gamble on something fancy. Suzumi needed quick and effective. She screamed as she put everything she had into sending the two of them rolling, close enough for Suzumi to reach out and grab onto the ropes!

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Given the massive strength contained in Samiya’s short frame, the arm triangle was no fun at all, putting painful pressure on Suzumi’s head and neck as the younger woman cranked the hold. The squeeze she was putting on the Tsunami’s ribs were pretty tight too, her big thick thighs among the most powerful in Friction. She might not have the endurance to match Alicia Wells for scissor skill but her sheer power was right up there – particularly when you took her size into consideration.
Either way, it wasn’t a great place for Suzumi to be as anyone watching would guess. At the same time, it wasn’t likely to be the end of the match either. Both wrestlers were just too fresh, and Suzumi’s ability to get them to the ropes was better than her opponent’s ability to stop her.
Her fingers slipped around the ropes and the referee dropped in to demand the break.
There was a certain grim inevitability to Samiya’s reaction to the rope break.
She kept on squeezing. In fact, if anything she pressured both holds harder, wrenching the arm triangle particularly hard as she attempted to do as much damage to Suzumi’s neck as she could.
The ref rolled her eyes and got to counting. Right before she was disqualified, the Schoolgirl Assassin finally released the holds and rolled back to her feet.
Annoyingly, the Tsunami would have a chance get her head back in the game but that had been a good start. The tattooed grappler flexed her fingers and waited for the other wrestler to get back up.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi grit her teeth and groaned as Samiya kept the hold locked in despite Suzumi reaching the ropes. She got up to her feet, gasping for breath as she rose up, eyeing Samiya. Suzumi glared and moved forward as quickly as she could swinging her leg up to try to catch Samiya by surprise with a sharp roundhouse kick to the side of the head!
Suzumi needed to stagger Samiya or catch her off guard to put her in a hold of her own. Suzumi didn't have the power, but she was sure faster hoping to utilize that speed whenever she could!

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi didn’t look too happy, Samiya noted, though that wasn’t really all that surprising. Or that worrying. If Suzumi did look happy, she wasn’t doing her job right. She’d made a good start towards her goals for the match, but she still had plenty of ground to cover and Suzumi looked plenty mad enough to want to retaliate. The question was what form that retaliation would take, and Samiya didn’t immediately have an answer.
On top of that, this wasn’t quite her usual match where she was confident her mat wrestling and ground game trumped her opponent’s. Suzumi was a submission specialist as well and just trying to chain wrestle her into tapping could backfire and badly. So, she let the other wrestler get back up, watching coolly all the while.
And that proved to backfire just as much. Suzumi might have been left out of breath, but she didn’t miss a step in charging forward with a sharp roundhouse kick. Strikes weren’t Samiya’s forte at all and it showed as she clumsily went to block and failed. Well, mostly failed. Her raised arm took part of the shot but enough landed to send the Schoolgirl Assassin stumbling back a step, her footing less than secure.
