As Death Bunny dressed her down, Blossom opened her mouth a few times, reflexively wanting to defend herself. She stopped, though. She never uttered a syllable of protest. Not because she was afraid to - though she kinda was, just a bit, Death Bunny was so intense right now, which was intimidating and a tad sexy, honestly - but because, truth told, she wasn’t wrong. About any of it.

That was the way it had always gone when she wrestled in school. You shook hands. You had good sportsmanship. You respected the person you were taking on. Things could get intense on the mats, but her coach had always told her to leave it there. It was a school sport, not a war. A game. A game that required her to work out until she could barely move in a puddle of sweat six days a week, but a game.

But that was different, wasn’t it? That was amatuer wrestling. Now she was a pro. If she ever wanted to beat Samiya, she’d have to face up to that.

Blossom followed after Death Bunny, coming to the middle of the ring. She took a deep breath. Then another deep breath. Then another, the longest one yet.

”Okay.” She met Death Bunny’s eyes and tried her best to mimic the look. Not easy. ”I got it. Come at me.”

D.B.'s school of thought on training struggling competitors being similar to how you forge a sharpened blade from metallic sludge. Only through constant pressure, pounding away at it with immense force, and subjecting it to sweltering molten fires and temperatures can you mold a tempered steel weapon. The conflict welling inside her as to whether Blossom was ready for this kind of treatment wasn't entirely eased even after her "all in" answer.

D.B. just hoped Blossom truly knew what the repercussions were for saying that. This was a confrontation that was bound to happen eventually anyway. D.B. knew that Blossom's cheery disposition would only lead to her getting badly victimized in a league this cutthroat. The strong always preyed on the weak. And it took some crippling losses, but maybe Blossom was finally starting to see things for how they were.

"Another good answer..." D.B. kept her grim response brief and to the point, entering a guarded boxer-like stance with balanced foot placement except with her hands partially open as if she were willing to accept a grapple instead of throwing down in a slug-fest. Refraining from the typical dance around the ring, D.B. would instead make her approach head-on from the get go while bending low to match Blossom's shortened stature.

But rather than the lock-up she was motioning for, D.B. would attempt to stomp her boot into Blossom's gut to hunch her over. And if it connected, followed up by a wound-up forearm strike to her upper back. Both blows indicating that D.B. wasn't going to take it easy on her. Not by a longshot.

Blossom was filled with deja vu as she squared off with Death Bunny for the third time. She remembered the way they’d hit it off, the way Death Bunny had kind of threatened her life, the way she’d been so cute getting riled up, the way her ears were fluffy, and kind of twerked about when you petted them...

Gah. Stop that. Focus, focus, focus.

The important thing to remember was that, despite the size difference, it had seemed like they were fairly close in terms of strength. So, while it hadn’t worked out too well the last time, she was at least sure she could hold her own when it came to a lock up.

But, unfortunately, a kick to the stomach ensured she wouldn't be finding that out for a little while, at best. She’d forgotten how hard Death Bunny could strike, but that blow bent her over for a sharp reminder. And, if that wasn’t enough to get the point, the hammering blownon her back would be more than enough. Bam. Bam. Down she went.

Blossom dropped to her knees, a bit winded, definitely hurt, but far from finished. A second passed before she was trying to push herself up, but she didn’t bother attempting to completely rise. Instead, she lunged out and tried to grab Death Bunny’s leg with both arms, trying to wrap it up tight, push forward, and bring her lover to the mat with a single-leg takedown.

There was a very good reason why they called it tough love. Blossom perhaps better understanding that fact after having just taken a size ten boot to her gut and walloping forearm to her spine from the same bunny girl who she had just previously locked lips with. D.B. knew that underhanded fakeouts were the crooked wrestlers bread and butter, and a tactic that someone as innocent as Blossom was the prime target for. She needed to learn to always initially expect the worst from her opponent, and be pleasantly surprised if she was proven wrong.

D.B. remained ominously upright over the hunched over Blossom while obviously biding her time. Since this wasn't a legit match and just a no frills sparring session, D.B. wanted to judge how her flowery lover reacted when the pressure was already on after a decidedly rough start.

The bunny girl getting her unbalancing answer when Blossom lunged forward and attached herself to her leg, D.B. suddenly scrambling to straighten herself by comically hopping her free leg behind her. Blossom's stocky strength made it feel like a miniature linebacker was plowing into her thigh, so D.B. knew she was going down the second her leg was grasped. But perhaps she could at least dictate how.

Rather than dropping down flat on her ass, D.B. crumpled to her knees with her muscled frame draped atop the huddled Blossom. A muscled waist-lock around Blossom's midsection had every ounce of D.B.'s strength poured into it alongside an assertive headscissors. Both constrictions should potentially start draining the fight from the spirited grappler...the only potential caveat being the shared warmth between them and plump feel of Blossom's backside rubbing against D.B.'s blushing cheek were all making it just a tad harder for D.B. to keep this spar strictly "professional"...fluttering thoughts about that night reemerging at a time when she probably couldn't afford to daydream. Some heated pants and inadvertent nuzzling hopefully going unnoticed in all this...

Back in high school, Blossom had to go up against bigger opponents all the time - in fact, just about every match saw her with a size disadvantage. As she was taught, that could work against her or for her, depending on how she played it. While she could never beat someone like Death Bunny when it came to pure, raw strength, she had a lower base, she could trip people up and bring them to the mat. As her coach was fond of saying to her: ‘Everyone’s the same height when they’re on the floor.’

It was a nice sentiment. As Death Bunny’s body dropped down over her, she tried to keep it in mind.

It was easy to forget that, while her lover was a strong and dominant brawler in the ring, she had some wrestling prowess as well. The waistlock was a masterful counter against Blossom’s takedown, and she might’ve been inclined to give her props...if not for the headscissors around her neck. That was the problem, really. She could’ve done something about either move, easily, by themselves, but together they made a trap that was hard to escape from.

She did have an idea, though. Pushing up, Blossom tried to roll to the side, grabbed Death Bunny’s legs and planted her feet on the floor, trying to turn it into a flipover backbridge pin.

”Gah...1…”

Having grappled with her flowery companion on more than one occasion, D.B. knew that it was only an eventuality before she would be grappling with Blossom down on the canvas. All of the darkly bunny girls imposing height wouldn't account for much once she was on the canvas with Blossom. It was going to be stressful enough to avoid being locked into a limb-contorting submission from someone with enough stout strength enough to do just that and more so. D.B. just hoped she had gotten some time to wear Blossom down first before all of this, quite literally, went down.

D.B. gave Blossom kudos for making the smart choice when given the opportunity, but now she was the one who had to start making smart decisions. Bearing down on the waist-lock and head-scissors seemed to be the best way limit her movements, her flustered cheeks luckily going unnoticed as she clenched her muscled frame down on Blossom. D.B. thinking she may have just regained control of the match before being rolled over and pinned backward with her legs sticking high into the air.

An embarrassing position, for sure. And one D.B. would power out of at Blossom's two count by shooting her legs down and out, the irate bunny girl than rolling the both of them over once more and back into the position they started. There was a heaving groan to D.B.'s voice as she abruptly hoisted Blossom up off the mat after turning to her side. Dangling Blossom in front of her for a hot second after getting back to her feet, D.B. let out a ferocious yell to coincide with attempting to chuck Blossom overhead in a topsy-turvy gutwrench suplex.

"RAGH!!"

It was kind of funny for Blossom to think, but there was a time when she would’ve fantasized about being in this position with Death Bunny. Or in the reverse position, too. Or any position that had the two of them touching. Not that making things more official between them had ruined that feeling, but she was used to it now, enough that she could rub against Death Bunny’s soft skin, supple lips, and inviting chest without caving in to carnal temptations

Those experiences did help her now, though, by letting her focus on the match. Even if she was already planning a more...personal rematch in her head.

...right, counting. ”T-two-”

Death Bunny’s awesome power once more came into play, as she showed why it was rare for anyone to put her down, and even rarer for anyone to keep her down. That was distressing enough, but Death Bunny wasn’t just rising up, she was lifting up, yanking back, and-

”Gwaaaah!”

A gutwrench suplex. Not one of Blossom’s favorites, since she lacked the height to really pull it off most of the time. But with some like Death Bunny, it was perfect. Blossom was flung up and over and crashed down hard on her shoulders, reeling from the impact.

”N-nice one…” Just kind of came out. Couldn’t resist.

Dropping low to her center of gravity and turning the match into a grapple fest was always one of Blossom's greater strengths. It played well to her advantages more than she probably thought, and being short was an advantage if you played your cards right. Being vertically challenged meant it was a harder time for people towering over her to get a controlling clinch down on Blossom. But once D.B. did get her mitts on her, she opted to play to her own strengths and hurl her flowery lover overhead with the greatest of ease.

...well, maybe not that easy. It still took some concerted effort to get that much distance in the throw, plus a large part of D.B. was actually going to miss tossing and turning all over the canvas with her. Practically everything was reminding her of that night by now, from the feeling Blossoms stocky muscles and familiar warmth to those teasing breaths against her inner thighs...

*...*sigh*...this is gonna be a long spar...* D.B. longingly thought to herself while rising back to her feet, than taking an expansive breath to hopefully give those sensual thoughts time to leave her head just as that air had left her lungs. The biker bunny girl resuming her stalking approach behind Blossom before aiding her back to a seated position with a brief tug on her arm. Now standing behind Blossom as she placed her hand near her shoulder, D.B.'s grip would start to really be felt on Blossom's trapezius neck muscle. One that would get increasingly more intense and vice-like as D.B. brought her strength to bear on the shoulder claw-hold.

"Take this seriously...Next person you face might not be taking it this easy on you." D.B. advised through a coarse voice and continued pressure of the nerve hold.

There was no throw quite like a Death Bunny throw, a fact that Blossom was remembering the worst way right about now. What made the move so devastating wasn’t just the power and the expertise - both things Death Bunny had in abundance, but not the key. What left her so stunned through it was the sheer speed with which the move was executing. She was caught, then, quick as a snap, she was hurled up, over, and brought down for a devastating crash.

The end result left Blossom aching on the floor, though she wasn’t quite done just yet. All she needed was a few moments to get back up, and she’d be good to go.

If Death Bunny gave her that time, anyway. Which she didn’t seem apt to do. Sort of defeated the purpose.

She’d been sitting up when she heard Death Bunny coming from behind. She expected a headlock or something. Maybe she would get yanked up by the hair, if she was feeling particularly nasty. Instead, she got a hand on her shoulder. A tightening hand. A squeezing hand. A crushing hand.

”What are you...ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Owowowowowo-”

Blossom ground her teeth down hard as the nerve hold poured on the pain. It felt like fire burning just underneath her skin, a red hot pain that seared into him. She’d always thought the nerve hold was a bit silly, that it was just for show, but she was learning better today, and Death Bunny would doubtless have more lessons if she didn’t put a stop to it.

Anxious and growing more so by the second, Blossom started to push up to her feet, fighting every inch of the way. As soon as she could get two solid feet on the canvas, she would try to turn the side, ducking under Bunny’s arm, looking to pull free of the hold and yanked that same arm into a hammerlock, if she could manage the slick maneuver.

Exposing her sparring partners to all manners of follow-ups and wrestling techniques was always one small goal of D.B's training sessions. There was an entire world of debilitating techniques that the more casual grappler wouldn't even think of, and not everyone was going to adhere to traditional conventions by going for the same cookie cutter formula as everyone else. Giving Blossom the foreknowledge of what these maneuvers actually felt like was only going to help steel herself for the real thing...should she ever be so unfortunate.

The shoulder claw hold was one such maneuver, the bunny girl pumping considerable torque into one specified nerve center. It was perfect for methodical brawlers like herself to drastically slow down the tempo of the match against troublesome high-flyers especially. Those who thrive off of a speedy flow now had to sit there stagnantly and take considerable damage with no hope of a flashy counter or reversal. Your only real hope was to power through it or wait until the your opponent moved on to something else. To D.B.'s surprise, Blossom was taking the former approach.

"Tch..." D.B. reaffirmed her grip as best she could while gritting her teeth from the prolonged pressure she was putting into the nerve hold, but to her own surprise, Blossom was soldiering on through it and climbing to her feet faster than the bunny girl could have predicted. In fact, it was fast enough for D.B. to not be able to react quick enough before having her own arm twisted around to the point where her own wrist was nestled right between her shoulder blades. A hiss of pain escaped her lips as she tensed up briefly before eventually just slouching over. Admitting it was kind of hard at the beginning...but she offered credit where it was due.

"Heh...Nice one." D.B. uttered with a wincing smirk. A sincere compliment from someone you would never expect it from.
