Caged Kawaiis: Kena vs. Naoko

The idea of a cage match really excited Kena. A fight to the bitter end inside a cage with no way out save for victory. The concept made her smile, it reminded her a lot of those old martial arts movies she watch where the hero was forced to fight to the death in an arena. Well, I suppose I'd probably be the villain, but still. She began to do stretches to loosen herself up. I wonder how strong my opponent is. All Kena had to go on was a name and a bit of information on the person in question. It was another kawaii wrestler named Naoko Haru, a brawler according to her profile. She'll be my first Kawaii opponent too... I hope she isn't weak. Given her the profile said she was a brawler Kena was reminded of her match with Maddie. Maddie-chan was a fun opponent, so maybe this one will be too.

Soon, Kena's theme began to play and she halted her stretches to put on her black yukata and geta sandals and headed out to the stage. She noticed how many more people were there this time compared to her last few matches. Had she picked up a few fans? If so it was a bit surprising. She had figured her brutal nature and almost pitiful lost in her last match would have her as a hated wrestler, but apparently some people liked that sort of thing. She made small but quick steps to the ring, quickly taking off her sandals and yukata to reveal a black sports bra and shorts underneath. She then went into the ring and waited for her opponent to appear, taking calming breaths to calm her nerves as she waited.

Naoko smiled to herself as she fixed her boots. This was going to be her first big match in the kawaii league and it was going to be a great one, or so she hoped. She heard her opponent's music play and then the fans cheering before her own music began to play.

She stepped out from backstage and appeared at the top of the ramp, waving to the fans as they cheered for the two wrestlers. She make large strides towards the ring, hoping to get the match started. She climbed through the ropes and went to her corner, bouncing a little and grinning.

So that's Naoko Haru... At first Kena rose an eye at the girl, then blushed upon seeing her attire. She knew the AFW had some pretty lose and skimpy outfits, but she had to admit that Naoko's attire was unexpected for someone in the Kawaii League. Naoko had a nice body to show off all she did, but the lack subtlety sent a chill down Kena's spine for a moment. I hope she isn't an exhibitionist. Dealing with Maddie's perverted antics was annoying enough, but this was the Kawaii League, so who knew how some of these girls acted. Their cuteness and sexuality was just part of the appeal, and Naoko definitely looked appealing, at least from Kena's point of view.

Once her opponent had entered the ring the cage came down, trapping them both inside. The only way out now would be through victory or submission... or a pinfall, but Kena was hoping for the more satisfying result of making her opponent beg for mercy. "Hello Haru-san," Kena gave the girl a bow, smiling politely. "I hope we can have a good match together. Please give me all you have and I'll be sure to do the same."

Naoko smiled and returned the bow, "Yes, I will make sure to give you everything I've got and more." she smiled and stared at her opponent before allowing the ref to check her for any foreign objects. Once she had finished, Naoko would move towards Kena and offer her hand, "May the best kawaii win."

Kena shook Naoko's hand, smiling. "Please do, for I have no intention of letting this be an easy match for you." She took a few steps back before settling into her fighting stance, taking slow breaths as she prepared herself mentally for the match.

Naoko smiled and bounced on her side before the cage slowly began to lower around them. She slowly moved to the center of the ring and watched it come down. She was so fascinated that she didn't even notice the bell ring.

The cage soon came down, trapping both girls within it. The slow drop made Kena's hair stand strike. This was going to be a very different experience compared to her match with Maddie or Hina. Hopefully it'd be a fun one too.

Once the bell rang Kena's eyes went to her opponent. She was still looking around the cage. Kena frowned. Should I wait for her to prepare, or... She shook her head. No, sadly there is no mercy on a battlefield. Naoko's only warning would be Kena's loud battle cry as she rushed forward to give Naoko a roundhouse to the face.

Naoko was busy putting her furs and fake tails down when the bell rang. She shrugged a little and just started turning when suddenly a boot smashed her in the face, Kena's roundhouse connecting with her temple. Her eyes widened as she dropped to her knees. She then fell forward and lay limp on her belly.

As nice as it felt to connect the blow, it wasn't as satisfying as Kena thought. Hitting a distracted opponent didn't much of a payoff, and given how she immediately went down after one kick Kena was having her doubts. I hope that wasn't all she had. Kena last few opponents may had been from Fiction, but she had hoped her own league had a few decent fighters in it. Well, this is still a match, so no need to hesitate. With that thought in mind she walked over to Naoko, aiming a punch straight for the back of her head.

Naoko was down, that much was obvious, but what everyone failed to realize was that she was just playing possum. Sure the cheap shot hurt like hell, but it wasn't enough to keep her down. She waited for her opponent to approach her before she started to shakily get to her hands and knees. Once her opponent was close enough, she waited for the inevitable strike that would follow and as soon as her opponent threw the punch, she would grab her arm and bring her down with her in an attempt to roll her up in a quick matchbook pin. Though she knew it wouldn't hold for long, she began to think of what her next move would be as she wrapped her legs around Kena's left leg and held onto her right one with both arms. The ref then dropped down and slapped the mat, "ONE!"
