Ivan Komorov vs. Raiden: Hardcore match

Things quickly went from bad to worse for Raiden. It was still early in match and Ivan already felt pretty comfortable in ring. He noticed that Raiden had bit of rough time standing up and this brought additional satisfaction to big Russian. He knew his biggest weaknes was speed; or better said lack of it. And with Raiden having problems he's one step closer to neutralizing it.

Ivan walked toward the ropes and sliped out of ring. He cracked his knuckles and waited for Raiden to get back on his feet. As soon as he was up, big Russian lunged toward him, trying to knock him back down with clothesline.

Raiden knew that if he wanted to get out of this with a win, he would have to move fast, but the attacks that Ivan was subjecting him to were already beginning to bring him down, and badly. With that small body slamming against the pavement, a loud groan was elicited from the audience as they sympathized with the smaller man. They had already gotten it in their heads that this would be a squash match, but Raiden held out hope for a bit.

So it was no wonder that when he got back to his feet, Ivan was already there and clotheslined him, nearly taking his head off with it. Raiden's head slammed violently against the concrete with a loud yelp, but he wasn't going to let things stay like this for long. He tried to roll, aiming for getting under the ring. It was a hardcore match -- maybe he could get a weapon of some sort in order to even out the playing field a bit.

Managing to catch Raiden and knock him down with a clothesline just confirmed Ivan's thoughts - he was getting slower indeed. But it seemed that Raiden still had some fuel in the tank, since big Russian didn't manage to follow up with another attack. Before he turned around his big body and reached down for him it was already too late. Ivan could just watch how Raiden escaped under the ring. There is no way that he is going to chase him down there.

Ivan didn't have any other option but to wait for Raiden to come back out. he just hoped that he won't get out on the other side of the ring. Ivan walked forward anyway and went back in the ring. Raiden will eventually has to come back in ring.

For a few moments, Raiden was free. He managed to escape the giant Russian for now, but he had to go back out there with a game plan -- no more darting around and hoping for the best! He eyed a sledgehammer, but he thought it would be too dangerous if it got turned back around on him. No, he had to settle for something a little bit better. With that, he grabbed the metal chair and rolled back out from under the ring, hoping Ivan wasn't just waiting for him. He came out on the same side that he went in on, stupidly enough, because he heard Ivan jump onto the ring.

As long as he didn't get intercepted, Raiden would try and slip into the ring, bringing up the chair last -- before rushing at Ivan, swinging that chair out at him like it was his last chance at living! Because, considering the size of the dude, it probably was.

Ivan was waiting for Raiden to return, but when he wasn't back after a while he became bit unpatien. He start walking up and down the ring, looking over the ropes to see if he's anywhere near. He finally rolled from under the ring with metal chair in his hands. He looked bit more intimidating, but Ivan still wasn't too worried about his opponent.

He backed away a little and gave Raiden free way back in ring. But underestimating opponent is never a good thing. Raiden managed to get closer to him while he was waiting and got an open shot with chair. Steel chair managed to connect with Ivan's head, causing Russian giant to stumble backwards. Hu rubbed his forehead and glared in Raiden. He surely did piss him off even more now.

Aha! Finally! Raiden managed to slip into the ring unmolested, and slam that chair into Ivan's head with a satisfying clang! But then he looked up at the chair -- which was already dented, what was his head made of pure steel? -- and over to Ivan, and his feeling of victory quickly vanished. Well, that just seemed to make the guy angrier. Shit. Well…might as well take advantage of the chair in his hands?

With that, he lunged forward, moving to slam the top edge of the chair into Ivan's stomach. Sure, it felt like he was hitting a brick wall when he attacked it with just fists, but if he could get the guy to bend over…well, Raiden might be able to get away from this with a win, and not just barely skating away with his life!

Raiden was ready for new attack after Ivan stumbled backward. Ivan was stronger indeed, but he shouldn't underestimate the power of metal chair. He was still to slow to evade the shot though. Raiden managed to close the distance and hit big Russian right in the stomach. But two hits won't stop him from fighting.

When being doubled over, Ivan reached up to grab Raiden's head and tried to put it over his shoulder, while turning his body around. He would drop down on his butt, trying to land hit him with a stunner.

If Raiden could, he might have married the chair right then and there. It had put him back in the running, so long as he used it well and didn't lose it. Thank god for hardcore matches, right? He grinned for a moment, holding the chair up as Ivan doubled over, pumping up the crowd -- and they went wild. Who didn't love a good David and Goliath story? He turned back towards Ivan, moving a bit closer to try and slam the chair into his back. He wound up, bringing the chair over his head…

Which was when Ivan struck. Raiden found his head grabbed and put over Ivan's shoulder, which surprised him enough to drop the chair behind him. And then when Ivan turned his body around -- well, there was no escaping the move. He yelped like a wounded dog from the blow, falling over to the ground next to Ivan's sitting form, eyes already beginning to get a bit hazy.

Ivan cought right timing for a stunner and brought Raiden back down one more time. His head and stomach hurted a little, but it wasn't anything too serious. He is pretty hug with big body mass and it would be needed bit more than just two shots with chair to took him down.

Ivan stood up and fixed his eyes on steel chair. He grabed it and without any remorse used it to slam it over Raiden's head. He repeated this with one more hit and than finally threw the chair out of the ring.

Raiden was doing so well for a few moments there! He could actually see himself begin to come back -- but then Ivan took control once more, crushing that hope nearly as quickly as it came. He would try to go for the sledgehammer at some point, maybe that would put Ivan out, at least for the rest of the match. But for now, he was trapped, hopelessly dazed.

When the chair came, Raiden knew he shouldn't have been nearly as surprised as he was. Of course the big brute was going to use his weapon against him! That chair slammed against his head once, twice, and then out of the ring. Not that Raiden could tell; he was too dazed from the chair blows to notice if he was doing anything more than moving around!
