Match Style: Gai prefers a painful ground and pound style, throwing hard punches, kicks, and knee strikes to bruise and weaken an opponent before going to finish them with a knockout blow or lock them in a submission move to finish them off.
One of his favorite tactics is to target an opponents arm over and over, damaging the elbow and joints and shoulder, then applying a tight armbar to finish.

Finishing move/s:
Cross Armbar: One of Gai’s favorite moves, he traps a fallen opponents arm between his legs and pulls tightly bending and torquing the arm, wrenching it in its socket until the opponent submits

Axe Kick: After stunning an opponent with a kick to the stomach, Gai bounces off the ropes and kicks his legs up in the air, bringing his heel down across the back of an opponents neck

Muscle Buster: A Double Leg Fishermans Buster from the top rope, dropping the opponent onto their neck and shoulders.

Rainmaker Lariat: Gai gets behind his opponent and grabs one of their wrists before shoving them foward away from him, using his grip on their wrist to pull them back towards him while swinging his free arm, crashing it into their chest with a powerful standing lariat!

Personality: Very brash and noisy, Gai is the type of person that doesn't think before he acts, focusing solely on the moment. Arrogant above all, Gai is at his happiest beating the crap out of whoever is in the ring with him. Outside of the ring, he’s a gym rat and bar hopper, happy to run his mouth about how great he is. That being said, he’s generally a slacker and, despite his tough guy attitude, he’s never be in trouble with the law and has no wish for the kind of legal trouble that could come with fighting out of the ring, and is thus generally harmless, if somewhat irritating, to be around.

Past:
Gai’s past is, according to him, nothing special. Despite attempts to analyze him, he actually had a fine and happy childhood. He grew up normal, got decent grades, played some high school sports. He decided on his own, after moving out of the house at 18, to get into professional fighting, simply because he found the idea of training and working out and punching people for a living easier than actually knuckling down for a 9-5 job.

Over the years, he went from fighting in parks and alleys, to small time cage promotions, to hitting the big time at the Buriki One Fighting League, where he survived some very brutal fights and made a substantial amount of money and came close to winning their heavyweight belt, though he was unsuccessful in the end, as Buriki One closed down before he ever got a shot at it.

Still in his prime as a fighter, and seeing no other bigger options, Gai navigated and eventually joined AFW, convinced to sign up for its Tension roster once he saw for himself just how talented and powerful its fighters could be.
