AV 15 Iron Woman Match: Natasha Han Vs. Valley Doll

To the best of Valley’s knowledge, no one in the history of wrestling had ever scored a win against a serious opponent less than ten seconds into a match, so Valley doubted she would get a fall here...though she certainly would’ve been happy to. There wasn’t an ounce of surprise when Natasha broke the pin. It wasn’t really about scoring a fall. Instead she’d wanted to send a couple of messages.

She’d shown Natasha that she was bringing some new tricks to this match, slamming her with a suplex for the first time, and with any luck, she’d put a little fear in her iron heart.

Valley did a quick kip-up and spun around to face Natasha. She could’ve moved in for some sort of counterattack, but she held back for the moment and simply bounced on her toes, taking up the same stance from a moment ago. Same position. Same smile.

”I only need three seconds, Han.” Valley motioned for Natasha to come at her this time, curious to see how she’d react.

If there was any fear or worry in Natasha's heart after that suplex, if there was any hesitation or doubt, the Russian wasn't showing it. As soon as Valley was off of her, Natasha climbed back to her feet and turned to face her again, wearing the same stoic expression, the same look of focus and determination on her face.

When Valley motioned for her to come forth, Natasha did just that, quick-stepping in towards the blonde. She raised her arms as she neared her, as if she was going to try to lock up with her again, but at the last second her stance shifted. Her leg came up, the Russian launching a hard-hitting kick straight towards Valley's side. Natasha didn't kick much, and she was hoping to catch the Slamazon off-guard with the unconventional (for her, at least) strike.

Yeah, Valley was getting to Natasha. Oh, the proud Russian wasn't going to show it on her cast-iron face, but her actions spoke volumes. The Slamazon’s smirk turned feral as she saw her rival coming in for another tie up, obviously thinking she’d get the better of the exchange this time. Valley was all too happy to prove her wrong, as she brought her hands up and prepared to catch her with an arm wringer…

She never got the chance. Not even close. As soon as she neared Natasha, she was greeted with a powerful kick to the side, crashing hard against her ribs.

A kick. For the first time in years, Valley was not the first person to land a kick in a match.

The blow had considerable power - just like everything Natasha did - along with decent speed, but the surprise of it was what really left Valley reeling. Off hand, she couldn't even recall The Wrestle Angel’s feet leaving the ground of her own volition, much less executing a flawless roundhouse. Unlike Natasha, the surprise was quite apparent on her face, as she staggered away and held her side.

Valley wasn't smirking anymore.

As Valley's smirk dropped her face, the ends of Natasha's lips curled upwards. Just a tiny bit, barely even noticeable, but the hint of a smile was there. The Russian had taken her opponent by surprise, and she had every intention of staying ahead of her rival now.

Valley staggered away, but the Wrestle Angel quickly moved in towards her again, reaching out to grab for the Slamazon while she held her side. One arm went low, and the other high, as Natasha tried to lift Valley off of her feet, intending to drop her to the mat with a quick body slam.

Valley had to plant her feet down hard to keep from backing into the ropes. She managed to maintain her footing in the end, but judging from the scattered gasps around the arena, she wasn't the only one who was a little taken aback by the Russian’s new moves.

Valley was not given long to contemplate it, though. One moment she was getting her wits together, the next she was in Natasha’s steely grasp, halfway into a powerful body slam.

Panic set in and instinct took over. As Natasha lifted her up, Valley brought her arm down, trying to hammer her in the side of her head with an elbow to interrupt the move. Not her specialty, but it would do in a pinch.

Natasha hauled Valley into the air, and was all ready to drop her into the canvas, when the elbow came crashing into her skull.

She let out a grunt, as her head snapped to the side, and she realized she was in a bad position. It would take a moment to steady herself enough for the simple slam, but she knew all too well what Valley could do in a single moment's worth of time.

So, the Russian decided to abandon ship, for now. She released her hold on Valley, dropping her awkwardly, and staggered back from her, lifting a hand to rub gingerly at the side of her head.

If Valley hadn't been so busy catching her breath, she would've breathed a sigh of relief as she escaped what would've been a hellacious body slam by the skin of her teeth. What's more, Natasha actually let her go and retreated, giving her a golden opportunity if she was fast enough to capitalize. She was willing to bet that she was.

As Natasha fell back, Valley advanced, quickly regaining her footing. She skipped after her, closed the distance in a single bound, not wanting to give her rival so much as a solitary second to recoup. Her foot lashed out the second she was in range, shooting out from below with a quick toe kick to the Russian's stomach, striking towards the center with the tip of her boot. Simple, but efficient and effective. The start of better things, if she connected with it. She just hoped the new kick pads were as durable as her tailor back home had assured her. it was a safe bet they'd be working overtime with this match up.

Valley's kick hit home, knocking Natasha in her belly, forcing the Russian woman to double forwards in pain. However, instead of simply grasping her stomach and crying out, as most people would have expected, she grit her teeth, quickly going into action.

As Valley's kick connected and her leg started to withdraw, Natasha's arms came up, grabbing for the Slamazon's leg. With an angry snarl, Natasha twisted Valley's leg, trying to ignore her own pain and send the blonde falling back to the mat again.

The kick connected perfectly and there was an instant of relief for Valley as Natasha doubled over. Her mind automatically started to consider the follow up: the Wrestle Angel would be a perfect mark for the sunset flip, and if it worked and got her an early pin, she could control the flow of the match and dominate. Getting the first pint wouldn't guarantee a win, but it would be a major advantage if she played it smart.

But she'd need both her feet to do that, and Natasha turned out to have far faster reflexes than the Slamazon anticipated, snatching her leg before she could retract. The relief faded away as the hold tightened, and it was replaced by fear when her leg was twisted and pain shot through her bones - she could not afford hurting one of her best weapons early on.

Valley was going down, but she didn't want to go alone. As she fell to her back, she swung her free leg up and tried to hit Natasha in the side of her head with a swift enziguiri. Just a little something to buy her a couple of seconds and keep the Russian from capitalizing.

Send Valley to the mat, stomp on her thigh to keep her under control, then work her leg into a nice, tight submission. Natasha had the next few seconds of the match planned out, and she was ready to take full control of the fight from here on out.

But Valley wasn't seemed to have other things in mind. Her leg shot up, and cracked the Wrestle Angel right in the side of her skull, snapping the Russian's head to the side. Natasha instantly released her hold on Valley's leg, staggering away from the blonde. She wore a dizzy look on her face, and seemed out of it, for the moment.
