AV 15 Mongolian Horde Match!

Diabolica heard Referee's count to 10, but she still got out of the ring to chase down Etzlicoatl. She wanted to make sure that smaller girl will stay out of the ring with some bruises and maybe even broken bones. "Oh, you're so dead now!" Diabolica screamed when seeing Etzlicoatl resting by the stairs.

It was perfect opportunit to squish her between steel stairs and her own weight. Just one quick spear to keep her down should left her enough time to return in ring before ref end with countout. She lunged toward Etzli, running as fast as leftover energy allowed her and jumped right infront of her opponent in order to land a shoulder in her gut with a spear.

Etzlicoatl was many things, most of them negative, but her ability to strategize her way through a match was not to be underestimated. She was on the ropes now, figuratively speaking, and a chance to go outside the ring and recover some of her stamina was an opportunity she'd gladly take advantage of. Similarly, though, she couldn't possibly expect Diabolica to just let her walk it off, not with how mad she'd made the amazon.

As the ref reached "SIX!" on the outside count, Etzli heard the cheers of the crowd and knew that the pain train was incoming. She turned around just as Diabolica came bearing down on her, shooting low for a spear, and with literally a half-second between now and total obliteration the luchadora did the first thing that instinctively came to mind.

She jumped.

After seeing Etzlicoatl leaning on stairs Diabolica imidiately rushed toward her. She only had ten seconds to hit her and get back and she didn't want to waste too much time. She got close enough to her opponent and jumped to land the spear she was planning. Just that things went from bad to worse.

Diabolica wanted to connect her shoulder with Etzlicoatl's gut, but her opponent jumped away last second. Instead of hitting soft flesh, Diabolica crashed her body in steel steps and collapsed down beside them.

It was like something out of a Hong Kong movie. In possibly the most graceful moment of her (admittedly short) AFW career so far, Etzlicoatl leapt into the air, turning in place like a corkscrew, and the massive form of Diabolica shot right under her and crashed headlong into the stairs with a sound of thunder.

There was a split second 'holy shit, that actually worked' look on Etzli's face as she turned, but it almost immediately gave way to a familiar hubris. "Ha! HAAAAA ha ha ha!" she crowed, hands on her hips in a martial pose. "You fool! What a clumsy oaf you've turned out to be--"

"EIGHT!" shouted the ref, and the Sanguine Serpent's eyes widened. Immediately, the panic was back in her expression.

She was back in the ring in an instant, scrambling wildly under the ropes (in both the interest of not getting caught by Diabolica and the interest of not getting counted out) as the fans booed her cowardice with gusto.

Diabolica wasn't too aware of what was happening and failed to her Etzlicoatl taunts. She was slowly getting up on her feet, feeling dizzy a little when she heard referee. "NINE!"

"Oh crap." Diabolica just realized what happened. "TEN!" After referee finished the countout, Diabolica rolled back in ring, but it was too late. "I wasn't too late, i got back in time!" She start screaming on referee, but it was too late now. Diabolica couldn't belive that she lost after everything she went through.

She glared in Etzlicoatl and was getting pretty furious. But she managed to held herself back for now and just stormed out of the ring toward the locker rooms while Etzlicoatl celebrated her victory.

In the fragment of a second between the ten-count and Diabolica rolling into the ring, there was a tense silence - and then the bell rang and the heat in the arena approached nuclear levels.

A storm of boos rained down on Etzlicoatl as she perched on the second rope across the ring from her opponent, clear evidence of the crowd's fury. She'd basically stolen the Horde match; Diabolica had been through two opponents and, even then, was well on her way to victory before a devious trick and a stroke of luck had given Etzli the most tainted victory possible under these circumstances. The fans had clearly wanted to see her get what was coming to her for her arrogance, and yet, impossibly, here she was, posed on the ropes, victorious.

"Wait, I won?" As her fellow Mexican stormed away in a rage and her music hit the speakers, Etzlicoatl's eyes widened. "I mean...HA HAAAAA! Victory! At last, the Solar Hummingbird rises upon a new reign! The reign of Etzlicoatl! Hand over the microphone, that I may address my subjects with the words of He Who Is In The Waters--"

"I think," the ref girl said, raising Etzli's hand with great reluctance and cringing a bit at the occasional drink being thrown at the ring, "it might be better if we got you out of here before there's a riot."

The luchadora narrowly ducked under an entire bag of hurled popcorn, pondered her situation for the moment, and sheepishly acceded.

"....Yes. That...that might be better, actually."
