Sunday Punch: Wind Dance- It’s a modified Gazelle Punch. The typical Gazelle Punch has you hopping with your right foot and throwing a jumping right hook to the jaw. Tsubaki’s version allows her to throw at different angles and directions, and with either hand or foot. So it can pretty much come from anywhere.  It’s very effective as a counter too. She also sometimes will follow up with a straight.

Note: She still uses the little hop that every fighter does before throwing the punch.

Favorite combo: Rapid fire combinations of jabs from different directions. She likes to throw a total of five in a row if she landing effectively.

Second boxing attire: Blue boxing sport bra with white trim, blue boxing skirt with trim on the top part of the skirt(this one doesn’t overlay), blue boxing gloves, and blue boxing boots with white trim.

She wears this one if her main outfit is dirty.

Third boxing attire: White ninja bodysuit with a black diamond pattern going down the middle, black shorts, navy blue boxing gloves, and black knee high boxing boots.

She is saving this one for when she is in a championship fight.

Tsubaki Kage is a dangerous fighter. She may be small and skinny compared to most fighters. Tsubaki is the same age as Neggy, but that is the only thing similar between those two. Unlike Neggy, who spent years of training; Tsubaki just started boxing a year ago. She decided to go pro, since Tsubaki didn’t like the concept of amateur boxing. She found it boring and not her style. Tsubaki only picked up boxing because she is currently dating Neggy. She didn’t care for the sport until meeting her.

Tsubaki rarely, if at all, trains in boxing. She is a trained ninja and never practices her boxing. She just puts the gloves on and heads out to the ring. She didn’t like any of the boxing styles outside one, which was unconventional, she decided to make her own style with building off the base of having the unconventional stance. Tsubaki calls her style, “One with the wind”. A style that makes her unpredictable and hard to read. She focuses on the available 372 pressure and 108 vital points on the human body. Tsubaki obviously attacks certain blind spots that people guard like the front or side of the neck, middle of the chest, and under the arms. She doesn’t go for any illegal blows.

You may be asking how Tsubaki is able to win with such a style and approach to the sport. Well, it’s simple, no opponent really knows how to combat it yet. It’s foreign to everyone that has face her in the ring. Tsubaki is a huge question mark to the boxing world. The only thing everyone knows is that Tsubaki studies fight footage on her opponents.

Offensive: Tsubaki may not be the strongest fighter and little to no KO power, but her use of martial arts pressure and vital points is out of this world. No fighter before her took advantage of certain legal blind spots boxers leave open. Factoring in with her fighting as an unconventional and her style, Tsubaki is literally hard to defend against. She knows how to throw the basic punches of boxing, but throws them in a way that makes them difficult to defend. Everything is thrown at an angle or different direction nothing is never thrown straight. Lastly, Tsubaki uses the pressure and vital points to stun her foes and set them up for a KO. She doesn’t need to use power unlike other fighters to put someone’s lights out.

Defensive: Being a ninja, Tsubaki has pretty much perfect her ability to dodge any attack that comes her way. So when she took up boxing; it became second nature to her in regards of defense. She knows when to block, slip, or dodge. Tsubaki also uses her feet very well and glides across the ring like a savvy veteran of the sport. Tsubaki prefers to slips and dodge punches, since blocking kills her rhythm and momentum. She has a good guard, but it isn’t something she will rely on to keep her safe. Tsubaki is so fast she is nearly impossible to corner her. Tsubaki also heavily benefits from making fighters miss big. She makes them pay with a well-placed counter shot.

Overall flaws: Tsubaki at first sight looks like an untouchable fighter, but in hindsight she isn’t at all. Tsubaki first major flaw is lack of stamina and conditioning in regards to boxing. She has good stamina and conditioning outside of the boxing ring, but in regards to boxing it’s not good at all. She can easily tired herself early on in a fight if she isn’t pacing herself well. This is why none of fights have been pass the fourth round, since Tsubaki is smart enough to know how to finish a fight quickly.

Her next major flaw is that she doesn’t like getting hit at all. She can take a punch, but if she starts to get tagged. She freezes up and just covers up. She could be pretty easily to KO if you factor this in with her poor stamina.

Another major flaw is her lack heart and love for the sport. This may sound like an odd flaw, but it’s not. Tsubaki, unlike Neggy and others, doesn’t have the heart or love for the sport. She is only doing the sport to please Neggy and make some money on the side. She doesn’t really care for the sport itself like others.

The final major flaw with Tsubaki is that she is very, very, very cocky. She thinks low of all her opponents she faces and compares them all to Neggy and Madonna. Tsubaki considers Neggy and her mother, Madonna, the standard that all women boxers should try to be. Tsubaki is talking trash from the sound of the bell. She won’t shut up, even if you tell her off.

Vs. Tsubaki: Opponents facing off against Tsubaki need to keep a cool head and defend her attacks perfectly. Don’t try to be the aggressor out of the gate. Try to have Tsubaki punch her out of the fight. This makes her an easy KO. Trying to outscore Tsubaki will only results in disaster for you. She can be manageable if you fight smart and keep safe.

Tsubaki vs. Sluggers: Tsubaki’s favorite opponents to fight against. Why? Well she basically doesn’t have to attack at all. She will just try and make them miss big and punishes them with wicked counters. She considers this an easy opponent for her.

Tsubaki vs. Swarmer: Another easy opponent for Tsubaki folks. She knows they want to trap her and land combinations, so just like Sluggers; Tsubaki will make them miss them and counter effectively. She will try to slow them down and make them work for their offense.

Tsubaki vs. Out-Boxer: With her being really short, she has a lower center of gravity. She uses her short height to help her avoid them trying to sit back and jab all day. Tsubaki makes sure she is crouching the whole time to make herself a harder target to hit. This is her toughest opponent to her, but she makes due with what she can get when fighting an Out-Boxer.

On Topless Boxers: Tsubaki could care less about them. She doesn’t consider them real fighters. She calls them, “Sluts with gloves on.” She will never face, or take any topless boxer serious that tries to step into the ring with her. She will try to end the fight as early as possible, since she finds these type of fighters a waste of time to her.

Background: She grew up in an odd home. She would run away a lot from home. She would also disobey her parents until one time CIA agents murder them when she came home from school. Ever since that day she vow vengeance agaisnt the American government. She joined a clan that specializes in the wind element. She would use those skills to become a lone mercenary for working hit by hit. She took up boxing to have a cover and to follow her favorite fighter Neggy.

Personality: To put it lightly....Tsubaki is evil bitch. She loves to torture and embarrass her foes. She also has a sick obsession with Neggy. She can nice but she picks and chooses her friends. Tsubaki will attack anyone if there is an opening. Watch your eye because Tsubaki may get you.
