Tension Battle Royale

Reira laughed. She knew what was coming, same as the crowd. Raising her microphone, she smiled at her boss, running a hand through her hair.

"Good to know somebody around her knows potential when they see it! Tell you what, you sign my checks, you gave me the chance to get in this ring when that bitch Lukretia passed on me, so as far as I'm concerned, I owe you for it."

She said, the crowd groaning as they realized what this meant, Reira nodding along with them, giving the audience a snarl.

"Shut the hell up! You people think I'm on your side? You don't give a shit about real talent anyway, you just wanna cheer for these half naked sluts that think sucking a cock makes them great wrestlers! I'm backing the horse that got me here, and if any of you, or anybody backstage, doesn't like it, then you can all fuck off!"

While fighting off Poison, Clyde heard Melissa out and his face contorted into that of anger and horror. He heard the "Just! Say! No!" chants from the crowd and looked to Reira like he was hoping for the same thing, the response she gave Melissa became his worst fear. Reira was aligning herself with Melissa Sellers!

"OH HEELLL NO!!" Clyde spat from the arena floor angrily, realizing that he had Melissa Sellers' new friend become the number one contender! Whoever this Reira woman was, clearly she had sold her soul to the devil herself.

"You... Ain't nuthin' but a damn sellout!!" Clyde growled, putting a hand on Poison's throat and pushing her up with his one good arm to try and halt the fists that were coming down on him.

Melissa smiled as Reira started to sing the tune that she wanted to hear.. Not to mention fronting off against the crowd as she felt so strongly about her choice.

"Potential as well as smarts deary.. A very good combination." With the manner Reira had gone about it, everything would be nice and neat.. She didn't even need to make an official declaration to the whole audience about her attentions while trying to persuade Reira because the red headed girl had saved her the trouble.

"Very good indeed.." She repeated, it seemed that she caught wind of Clyde's protest from outside the ring, she was glad to have earned his disapproval, although she did not show any change in demeanor "Some may claim the misused term 'sell out'... But let me assure you that one can only sell out if they had previously pledged loyalty to a cause that they were now betraying. You have made no such pledge so how can there be any shame in bettering your career potential?" Melissa smiled and then turned to start heading out of the ring.

"Perhaps you would care to meet with me to continue this little conversation without prying ears... After you have finished enjoying your moment."

Reira took one last look around at the crowd, as if she was taking one last chance to change her mind or not...before dropping the microphone, and raising her middle finger around the arena, getting the entire crowd booing her, some even throwing their trash into the ring as a sign of their displeasure.

The redhead just laughed as she headed out of the ring, ignoring Poison and Clyde entirely as she made her way up the ramp to follow after Melissa. The match was over, after all. Now it was time to discuss...business.
