John Carnaby vs Alexis Parker.

"You weren't paying attention when the match started? Why were you stunned by my good looks?" Mr Carnaby said, and then his eyes went wide as Alexis dashed at him.

The artist sprung into action, bracing and grounding himself to stop Alexis in her tracks. His feet skidded to just below the ropes, his face wincing as he took the hit. But it could have been much worse, she could have landed head first or him back first.

"Jesus Christ! You're rushing in like you're really trying to mess yourself up, don't you see that. This isn't a hardcore match, God." John said, keeping hold of her in the grab. Moving the pair of them away from the ring edge, that was a close one there.

"Sometimes you need to take risks to win...and I want to win!" she quickly gains her balance and moves away from the male, standing on the other side of the ring, staring him down. She's much more focused and vicious than what she is usually, maybe the losses have gotten to her?

"Come on then, I'm ready." she remarks as she holds her hands out for another test of strength, only this time she wouldn't lock up and as he would go to grab her, Alexis would swiftly move behind him and grapple him there. Pulling him up and back down for the previously failed belly to belly.

"What's with her?" Mr Carnaby thought to himself. John had this girl pegged as one of the nice ones, perhaps the insanity that was the AFW was starting to get to her?

Regardless John was still in a match, so he'd get on with it. Only he was a bit more wary now, and then she offered a test of strength of her own. They went through that, but John decided he was game for it.

As he got into it though Alexis had gotten behind him, that was a bit fast there!
"Ngh!" he yelled out as he hit the mat, John was taken aback by this action. Although he'd kick out of the pin attempt if Alexis kept the hold on. He had experience with that sort of grapple thanks to his training, so he knew how to deal with the hit of it.

As John hits the mat she would keep the hold, this time though not going for a pin but a submission, In the form of a headlock. Alexis squeezes the hold, has it locked in pretty tight too. "Tap out, save us from anymore punishment please.." she would say, worryingly as it looks like Mr. Carnaby is gaining back enough momentum to. at-least get out of the hold.

"Please Mr.." she would say, losing her grip slightly, her kindness starting to come back out after those few minuets of violence.

John was gritting his teeth as the submission was applied upon him, it seemed like things weren't going his way thus far. Perhaps it was because of her? But he knew he had to keep going, else how would he get paid?

"Ngh! No can do! Nothing comes easy here!" he responded to Alexis, getting himself into gear.
The young man quickly moved his body so that his foot rested on the bottom rope, thus making the ref girl break up the hold.

John would get up and say "I'll give you that one, but now it's no more games." the young man removed his shirt and flung it away. And he take a few steps around the ring, eyeing Alexis and trying to figure out what to do next.

Alexis rolls away after instantly breaking the hold after the rope break. Standing up she glares at him form across the ring, letting him take his top off, she blushes a little. D-Don't worry..I'll earn it..I'll prove to you I can earn stuff too!.." she says, punching the air, rallying the fans behind her. A slight smile appears on her face. She's finally getting over and she loves it.

Even if I lose..I will still prove I can get better.." she sighs, remembering the previous defeats. How she almost got injured, her match with Domino. All that and to keep facing males was exhausting. How could she ever win? "Right, ready when you are!~" Alexis would shout out, smiling at him. Ready to continue the match.

John had to admire that, the sprit of Alexis. That "Beginner who's eager to prove themselves." kinda deal, he was like that before he got himself involved with the United Kingdom Elite. Funny that, he hadn't been in the AFW for even a year and he'd done more interesting things than he'd ever done in his life prior.

And now he had to continue the match, so with that in mind John edged his way towards her. His hands outstretched and ready to go, when he decided that he got close enough he'd go for a grab. And that was to try and go for a bearhug, trying to trap her into his chest and start the pressure. But if she got out the way John would only grab nothing but thin air, leaving him open.

Alexis would accept his challenge and meet him head on, walking herself into a trap in the form of a bear hug! She kicks her feet and squirms to try and break free from the hold that's putting pressure on her back. "Ah! N-Not cool!" she says through gritted teeth. "Let go!" Alexis shouts as she thrashes about in his arms, each thrash adding more pressure to the hold.

"Like hell!" John said in response to Alexis, he remembered that story his pal Ryan said about him and his girlfriend. A girl with rabbit ears and how Ryan tried to powerbomb her, he let her go mid move apparently.

Meanwhile in this match John had locked in his bearhug, and was now trying to make his way over to the turnbuckle nearest to them. Where he'd try to drop Aleixs in, getting himself into position to go for a few spears to the gut. But the time he was taking between each move was getting longer, fatigue was setting in. If Alexis could get her legs up when John was reeling back odds were good she'd be able to escape and get him cornered.

Alexis tried to get her legs up but was too late, he had her cornered! "Oh no!" each spear like tackle into her gut drove the air out of the poor girl, after the three hits she slides down onto her ass gasping for air, completely open for another attack.

Clinging to the ropes with both hands she looks up at him, trying to gain enough air to move out the way of his following attack, if not her pain has only just begun.
