You know what's nice?

When the road's covered by an inch of ice and the power goes off for >48 hours.

Trust me, it's the best feeling in the world, especially when the heater goes off and it's 5 degrees indoors.

Wow, that really does sounds nice. It certainly sounds a LOT better then being in a house with power, clear roads, and it being very warm inside. I wish I could have been in your shoes

The miracle came.

A tree fell down on the driveway and now I can't drive out of my house.

Step 1: Move out of Canada.

Nah scrub that, move to middle earth. Me and my friends at the gaming society play middle earth role playing every Monday.

But seriously, if that tree is there do you not have a chainsaw? Or some other gardening tool that you could use to attempt to get rid of the problem? In situations like this I can't help but think "Wonder where the cops are when all this is going on?"

The cops are dealing with all the other homes in the same situation.

And I can't use my hacksaw because the tree itself is covered in ice. It's like every stereotype of Canada's weather came true here.
