Aurora Vs. Cassie Elliot

Before she even knew what had happened, the entire arena flipped upside down and Cassie was atop her. And she couldn't breath. And it wasn't just a normal choke. The weight of Cassie's leg and the strength of her arms were crushing her throat. There was only one thing on her mind. She couldn't breath. She really couldn't breath. In her desperation to breath, Aurora's laid fully back. The referee instantly recognized it and pounded the mat while shouting, "One! Two!" But instinctively Aurora tilted her body sideways so her left shoulder came up off the mat. The pin stopped, but it didn't solve her problem. She still couldn't breath.

Aurora reached up to try and reach Cassie's hair. Despite the near panic setting in, she remembered that time Mamouru had put her in what was probably a nearly inescapable hold back during training. The only thing she could do was pull his hair. And that was all she could really do. She managed to get a hand full of Cassie's orange hair and pulled with all her strength.

Cassie grit her teeth when Aurora's hold on her hair forced her to tilt her head to the side. That was fine. She was only giving her more weight to put on her own throat. She let out a low growl and kept up the pressure.

"The refs not counting to five this time," she said. "Just three. Unless you want to stop sooner." She threw her weight to the side to force Aurora's shoulder back down, and leaned forward so that her upper body was nearly laid down on top of Aurora, and the shin across her throat.

Mamouru watched as Cassie managed to put Aurora into a pinning position with her spectacular finishing naneuver. His heart raced and as Aurora struggled, he pounded the apron. Finally Cassie started acting like she was supposed to. But if Aurora didn't win... how could he get Cassie to come back to him?

He agreed to the match not to satisfy Aurora's idiotic notion of revenge but to try and convince Cassie to come back to him. At least to talk to him.

What could he do now? Cassie would be gone for sure if Aurora lost. Aurora too. And then where would he be? His brother hated him. Taylor. He'd stopped talking to his mom. She'd be ashamed of him too.

His mouth opened but he wasn't thinking when he spoke. "Cassie-san! When I'm fucking her... I'm thinking of you!"

Aurora tugged on Cassie's hair as hard as possible but she couldn't force her to release her. As the seconds ticked by, Aurora's oxygen deprived body grew weaker. She just couldn't fight it much longer. Cassie forced Aurora back down and the referee started the pin count once more. After the ref got to two, Aurora threw her shoulder up to break the count again. She wasn't quite sure why. It was a reflex. No. Fuck. How did this happen? She was winning. When did Cassie turn this around? How did Cassie turn it around so quickly? Finally, though, Aurora's body was shutting down. The last thing she heard was Mamouru's words. She probably would have felt devastated if she could think. But she couldn't. She was about to black out.

Cassie's face contorted with the grim effort to destroy her opponent, but when she heard Mamouru call to her she picked her head up.

Slowly, her fingers slackened, and her body relaxed until she had let go of Aurora completely. She sat on top of her for a moment, with her hands in her lap and her leg draped across Aurora's body, doing nothing but staring off at the mat like she could see through it. Her face fell. Her breath caught in her lungs.

She took one look at Mamouru, the hurt in her eyes must've been visible from the back row, and that was enough to bring on tears. She shook her head and stood up, turning to walk to the ropes on the far side of the ring, toward the entrance ramp. The idea of losing by count out didn't even cross her mind, and even if it did, she wouldn't have cared in the slightest.

Aurora's head flopped onto the mat and she gasped for air. For some reason, Cassie had released her. She wasn't sure why. There were no bells or signals for the match to stop. Aurora didn't question her good fortune and breathed in precious oxygen. When Cassie got off of her, she instinctively looked up to see what she was doing.

As if running on instinct, Aurora did the hardest sit up she had ever done. She crawled up quickly behind Cassie. Still breathing heavily, Aurora reached between her legs with her hand against Cassie's stomach. She then pulled and tripped Cassie back in a quick roll up hoping to catch the girl off guard.

Cassie's arms flailed once while she fought for balance, and then she toppled over backwards, finding herself suddenly rolled up in a pinning predicament. She kicked her legs and reached up with one arm, but as the referee began to count she sighed heavily and relaxed.

The count was academic. "One, two, three!" When it was over, she rolled over and sat there, her face red and nearly blank, unable to muster much of a reaction beyond the tears that slowly began to roll down her cheeks. She closed her eyes and put her hands over her face.

Mamouru was as bad as Talia. Worse. He knew exactly what he was doing. He just wanted to hurt Cassie as badly as possible, and Aurora was just another way to do that. But why?

Mamouru wished he could take the words back as soon as he said them. He was looking at the ring as Cassie was pinned but he was a million miles away. His mind was racing but his body was heavy. The ref couldn't count fast enough. He just wanted this nightmare to be over.

And when it was, he turned. He wasn't even going to stay around for Aurora's celebration. But as he turned, he saw Johnny turning around the corner. Instead of surprise or alarm at his enraged brother, his shoulders fell. He didn't turn his head or even blink as the fist slammed into his jaw. He collapsed against the guardrail but Johnny didn't stop as he began to drive his fist into Mamouru's face.

"What the fuck is wrong with you dude!?" Johnny's voice cracked as he realized Mamouru wasn't even trying to fight back. Something was wrong. Johnny didn't know what was wrong. He hadn't really heard what Mamouru said but Cassie's tears were enough. What the HELL was happening? Why couldn't Johnny stop even tthough he knew he should. Even though Mamouru was starting to bleed at the lip and nose.

Aurora fell back to the mat after releasing Cassie. She continued gasping for air. What had happened finally started to set in and she was suddenly very conflicted. She had accomplished what she had set out to do, right? She had won a match against the woman who had injured Talia so severely. But she didn't get any payback. And she learned something about Mamouru and Cassie that she already had suspected. She could hear Johnny wailing on Mamouru but suddenly she didn't care.

Aurora rested her head back down on the mat. The referee came over to check on her but despite nearly blacking out Aurora was fine. Unfortunately she couldn't get up immediately. She wanted to just get away but that wasn't feasible just yet.

Cassie heard the commotion between the two brothers, but she didn't bother to look. Mamouru deserved whatever Johnny did, anyway, but... that was no way to think.

She was to worn out to even sigh. She stood up and made her way to the ropes, pausing slightly at Aurora. She had nothing to say and quickly averted her eyes, and as she slowly stepped through the ropes she only hoped the girl would let things be. She walked back up the ramp with her hands clasped in front of her, and if nothing else, Cassie had finally had enough.
