Bastards Rules Match: John vs Lazzaro w/ Ashley

Bastard's Rules Match-
Sending the opponent through a glass table means victory for the rules of this match.

The arena seemed to be silent, the ring was surrounded by wood and glass tables. The crowd was guessing that there was going to be blood, though many people were pulling for John, since there were not very many people knew who The Bastards were from that one promo. There were a few select people who had shirts supporting The Bastards though, spread throughout the arena. They new just how dangerous this was going to get.

People were looking down at the ramp to see them, though only Ashley came out with a shopping cart filled with weapons, grinning as he went down the ramp. In this cart, there was a garbage can filled with kendo sticks, bats, signs and more. People were looking around for Lazzaro, who hopped over the rail from the front row, wearing his standard attire and a black hoodie.

Sliding into the ring with Ashley, he had his hands in his coat pockets, just simply looking at the crowd while Ashley had his hand on Lazzaro's chest, up against him, wriggling his hips a bit for the crowd, winking at them as the vast majority of them booed. Now all they had to do was wait, Ashley getting out of the ring, waiting on the outside, leaning up against the apron, wiggling his hips while Lazzaro took off his coat, looking down to the ramp.

John had no illusions about the nature of this fight. He knew that this was going to be a dangerous and bloody affair, one of the harder matches heâ€s fought. John was no stranger to dangerous or bloody, as the scars from an IED on his side could testify to. John had been watching from backstage as Ashley rolled out his shopping cart of weapons. He had to admit, he wasnâ€t pleased about Ashley. Lazzaro looked like a tough fighter, and he was eager to test his assumption. But Ashley was silly, and not in the cute sort of way his friend Amanda was. He was just annoying, and John wished he would be elsewhere so as not to spoil a good fight.

John was pretty pragmatic, a simple and down to earth guy, he didnâ€t have a complicated entrance. Walking down, wearing his tough green trousers, tan, heavy boots, and a gray tee-shirt, John gave a nod to Ashley, and taking note of the weapons and the tables, and climbed into the ring.

Normally, John began every fight, without fail, with a firm handshake. This time, Ashley put him on edge, so he wasnâ€t going to play games with either of them. “Well…this looks fun.” John grinned, climbing up and getting into his corner, waiting for the bell to ring unless Lazzaro had anything to say.

After John entered the ring Ashley had watched him, no smile on his face, he simply just looked at John with an intent to 'keep him in line' which had mainly meant that he would make sure that John wouldn't be getting into too big of a roll if he started to beat Lazzaro. "You can do it Lazzy!~" Ashley yelled, whistling to him. Lazzaro however payed no mind and simply took off his sweatshirt, looking at John. "Oh it will be...just watching you in pain will be really fun." Lazzaro waited in the middle of the ring, the bell sounding off to start the match.

As soon as the match started Lazzaro would start to get closer, not aiming for a strike right away, but looking to grapple with John. Once they were interlocked with each other, Lazzaro would attempt to put John in a headlock and start wrenching, simply trying to wear him down as quickly as he possibly could.

John was even less enthused about Ashley, heâ€d have to be aware that this could easily become two on one. Heâ€d done it before, it wasnâ€t desirable. John shook his head at Lazzaro. All the clichely bad ways to enjoy a match.” John mumbled, then took a deep breath, ready for this fight.

Lazzaro started off, which was fine for John. Trying to lock up with Lazzaro, John found himself in danger of being out grappled, his opponent trying to get him into a headlock. John tried to avoid this, but it would be a matter of trying to move faster than Lazzar. He tried to slide his arms to Lazzaroâ€s shoulder. If he could do that, heâ€d lift his knee up to try and hit him in the gut. If he couldnâ€t get his hands down, heâ€d still try to knee him but it would be a lot harder and he may end up in the headlock anyway.

Not expecting the knee, Lazzaro was successfully nailed in the stomach, coughing a little from the shot. "That wasn't a bad shot." However he wasn't horribly phased by this and swung his elbow up at John's face, aiming to nail him right in the nose. If he had hit it he would follow up with a knee of his own, however if John had blocked the shot Lazzaro would attempt to back away from John as to not get hit again.

Ashley was banging the mat with both hands, as a way to support Lazzaro without interfering in the actual match at the moment, as morale as it were.

“Glad Iâ€m not boring you.” John grinned. But after that exchange, the match began to move even faster than before. Lazzaro swung his elbow into Johnâ€s nose, which made John shout out and tense his fists. At the same time that he sent a jab towards Lazaroâ€s jaw, Lazzaroâ€s knees hit Johnâ€s gut.

John had been trained to punch in combinations, but even though he got a shot towards Lazzaroâ€s jaw, heâ€d have to stop whether it connected or not, finally backing off from the brief skirmish, holding his stomach before trying to run at Lazaro again, arms out to try to grab Lazzaro about the shoulder and head, twisting to try and toss Lazzaro over his hip, trying to move as fast as he can, resorting to simple and basic moves to try and keep up a blitz like momentum. Johns was trying to be fast even if makes him vulnerable to a counter attack.

That jab had connected perfectly with his jaw, causing him to stumble back, rubbing his jaw, which was a bit red after that. He was right about John, he was going to be one hell of an opponent. As he gained focus again he looked as John rushed him and stepped out of the way, running after him and jumping up, aiming to grab the back of his head to smash it down into the mat in a bulldog. If he hit then he would put John in a headlock and start to wrench at it. However missing the shot would have him land on his ass, open to an attack.

"Come on Lazzy!~ You can beat this loser!~" He shouted out, hoping up onto the announcer's table giving them an eyeful of his plump rear.

John managed to get a great punch in, but soon after his opponent had countered his charge with a bulldog, slamming Johnâ€s face into the mat. John felt himself being wrenched, feeling his neck being twisted in a headlock. John growled out in pain as he felt himself being twisted in this headlock, swinging his arms and trying to hit anything he could, assuming he was in a position to hit anything, and trying with tremendous difficulty to stand and power out, though that was very hard right now.

As Lazzaro kept John in the headlock he leaned over to put more pressure on the hold and really work on the neck. However as John was swinging his arms around he felt the elbow nail him in the face a few times and had let go, rolling over to the outside. Lazzaro covered his face a little bit, blood hadn't been pouring, but he had been busted up. Heading over to the shopping cart, Lazzaro grabbed a kendostick and slid back into the ring, ready to swing at John. He had wasted a lot of time however, so by the time he attempted to hit John, Lazzaro would be wide open for an attack.

John shook his head a bit as he was released from the headlock, cracking his neck. Turning around, he saw Lazzaro running to Ashleyâ€s shopping cart and retrieving a Kendo stick. However, the tough fighter was still very lucid and wasnâ€t nearly dazed. As soon as Lazarro was back in the ring, John leapt at him, both of his booted feet out, aiming to try run and jump, sinking them into his gut and, hopefully, taking Lazzaro down to the ground!
