An exclusive with Adrian Kytes

As she stood in front of the logo background, Adrian Kytes, self proclaimed Real World Champion, looked a mess. It hadn't even been an hour since her grueling last woman standing match against Natasha Loclear and it was clear that Adrian hadn't done nearly enough to clean up afterward. The cut above her eye was glued shut and the blood had been washed off her face but it still clung to her scraggy hair, bruises covered her battered body but as she stood there waiting for the camera to switch on, her own personal AFW title belt in hand, she couldn't feel any smugger.

"I told you! I told you all! I said that I was the only one with enough skills," She declared as a local interviewer placed a microphone up to her lips "Enough determination," she continued, chuckling to herself "and enough dignity to hold this title. To rightfully claim! to be the real World Champion. And you know what? None of you assholes and degenerates and whores believed me for a second! None of you did! But look who's in firm control now, Adrian Kytes, me!" She ended, holding up the fake AFW title belt, retrieved from her locker post-match as the microphone was pulled away.

"<Miss Kytes, congratulations on your return and victory>" The interviewer said as politely as possible in Japanese (Adrian had to be subtitled, feeling too lucid to conduct an interview in Japanese), a sense of dread coming over him. These scenarios never worked out for him. Excitable Gaijins and bad news never mixed well.

"You're damn right this a congratulation speech! Where the hell's the champagne!? I need to spray it everywhere, get's the feel of the place down! Woooo! WOOOOOOO!" Adrian celebrated, giving a little tribute to the nature boy as she laughed up her own success, swinging the title belt over her shoulder.

"<However, you must be aware that the current scenario surrounding the vacant AFW world title has already been decided, a match to crown a new champion has been signed and unfortunately it has not involved you.>" the interviewer said. Someone had to break the news to her that the company didn't revolve around her, and at least in theory she might be too exhausted from her match to take it out on him. Plus it was company orders.

No such luck, "Whoa whoa whoa, run that by me again. Are you saying that management, in their infinite lack of wisdom decided to hold a match to crown a new champion. WHEN THEY ALREADY FREAKING HAD ONE!?" Adrian screamed at the interviewer, turning away from the camera to give the poor man a full view of crazy.

"<I am sorry, but Rainow Mika and Angel already are scheduled to face each other->" he said nervously, before Adrian cut him off.

"<Gimmie that mic!>" The cosplayer yelled out in Japanese, yanking the microphone out of the interviewer's hand as she shoved him out of the interview, just so she could stare dead straight into the camera, eyes suddenly full of rage as a sudden rush of energy came over her. "So people finally caved to the whining and bitching and decided that it was about time to give Angel another shot at the belt. Not one person thought 'hey this Angel girl lost the last 3 title matches she had, maybe we shouldn't make it 4?' Before the match!? To let someone I'VE ALREADY BEATEN get another chance to walk around here, pretend she's queen of the mountain with a fake belt!? Nuh-uh! Not gonna happen, never.... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever going to happen! There is no way you will ever see me acknowledge that blatant forgery, that insult to anyone who's called herself champion! Even if Mika wins! Whoever wins, they are NOT the real world champion. I AM! And there's nothing ANYONE can do about that!" Adrian ranted on and on, failing to see the irony in her speech about insults to people who called themselves champion, or someone she'd already beaten walking around like she owned the place, which was kind of what got her into the match against Natasha in the first place. "THERE'S ONE RULE IN THIS BUSINESS! TO BE THE MAN! YOU'VE GOTTA BEAT THE MAN! And until either one of you can say with sincerity that you beat Adrian Kytes, NEITHER ONE OF YOU can ever call yourself champion." She declared before storming out of the room and towards the showers. Today had been a long day, and she needed to cool off, clean up and head home before anything else happened.
