The desert winds roared as Sephora trekked through the sand almost aimlessly seeking refuge from the winds. Her mission was to defeat and turn in a certain knight who had gone rogue. However, her progress was at a stand still due to the desert she had to cross. Equipped with a compass in hand, she decided to make the journey on foot. An animal would have been nice but, the locals warned that a horse wouldn't be able to journey very far before suffering from exhaustion and sadly a camel wasn't available in weeks. Instead, she stocked up on water and provisions and started off on her own. She wore a white cloak that enveloped her figure as it shielded her from the sand blowing in her face. In the distance, she saw a great structure and what appeared to be an abandoned temple. She decided it'd be best to seek refuge there before nightfall from the desert storm and continue her journey after the storm had cleared up.

Entering the walls of the temple, she felt instantly relieved from the heat as she tossed her cloak over her shoulder. She dusted the sand off of her clothes as she ventured further into the temple. There in the throne room, she stepped onto the magnificent tiled floor. It was a very large and spacious room,it seemed that it was fit for a king. Looking up at the ceiling, her eyes opened wide and the huge mural. Her green emerald eyes were so full of clarity that the fantastic pictures were reflected in her eyes. It was then she understood as she looked around at the tapestries around the walls. This had to be some sort of temple but, due to the damage it had suffered, it was long abandoned. Only this room seemed unharmed by the tides of time. It must have belonged to an ancient religion far beyond her knowledge of lore. it was strange though that this structure wasn't mentioned by the locals. Looking down at her compass, the needle began to spin sporadically.

"tsk..." Sephora clicked her tongue under her breath, she was blown off course. Giving a sigh, she began to recollect herself as she sat with her back against a pillar. Pulling out a canteen of a mysterious steel flask, she took a small sip of a a clear elixir. Instantly, she felt replenished and re-hydrated before she pulled out some Elven bread that was wrapped in dried banana leaves. She would munch on her pastry as she enjoyed the shade of the temple while she ate and drank in silence.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

[align=center:1ra49pcn]A Knight's Divine Encounter 965130-PAIBENW.jpg[/align:1ra49pcn]

Oh how sad it is to be alone.....was what Gil'dala thought as she had wandered the deserts, the forests, the jungles and the frosty mountain peaks for a long while, loneliness of being left alone by the other gods, her father, uncle, mother and aunts. Thought the people had been helpful in keeping her entertained for the past ooo...2000 years it might have been, in all honesty Gil'dala had stopped counting the days and weeks, months had lost meaning and now years were everything but important for her, a true immortal lives everyday but will never keep what day it was in mind, at least that was how Gil'dala saw it.

The beautiful image of her usually rendered men speechless and with her powers life always was quite simple for her, easier than it would have been if she had any other power. The beautiful Demigod was nowhere near bored, but lonely was what she was, and after her long journey that she took and suspected she had spent a year on, but couldn't tell. The Goddess of Desire with a flash of light made her way home, a bright purple like light showed up within her old temple and soon enough she stepped through the light, a woman that looked almost half dressed as her entire midriff was exposed, but she still wore gauntlets and greaves, her long blond hair flowed with a gust of wind that came from the portal, cold wind as cold as the most northern countries and it filled the entire temple with a refreshing breeze.

After she made her way into the temple and looked around at the pillars she would nod to herself and then turn around, walking up towards the wall that stood on the top of the stairs. As would with a flash of light bring out a large stone throne that was covered in golden symbols of the old Egyptian gods, she would turn around and seat herself down taking a long deep breath as she did. " Home sweet home ~"

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Chewing on her bread as she looked to the tapestry above, she swallowed the last of her meal as she dusted the excess flower off of her before clearing her throat with some water. Her eyes shot open as she heard a voice somewhere echo through the great halls of the temple. Slowly, she pressed herself against the pillar as her green eyes flickered in the shadows. Her hand grabbed the handle of her sword slowly as she was about to peer out from the column. She swallowed silently as her her the steel of her blade almost glowed in the shadows. She would step out of the pillars shadow to reveal herself spinning gracefully almost like a ballerina. Finally, with that one twirl she drew out her sword and her armor materialized on her.

Sephora raised her blade, her eyes glaring at the Demi god but as she caught sight of her she lowered her sword. Captivated by the woman's beauty for a second, she blushed but quickly shook out of it. Such thoughts she were trained to suppress her entire life, she took a breath to recollect herself.

"I apologize for pointing my sword at you my lady. I had suspected you were a danger to me." Sephora said as she pointed the blade downward at the ground as she looks up at the blonde beauty. "I blush for I must also apologize once more from intruding in your home, I only entered to seek refuge from the storm. If you shall allow me Madame, I will stay and leave once the storm has cleared."

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by LunarWolf Sun Nov 04, 2012 6:06 am

Gil'dala would soon hear a bit of noise and looked around a bit as she heard a girl's voice and a cute one at that, she looked around a bit more as she stepped off her throne and saw a girl with a blade in her hand, as she saw her a smile crept up on the girl's lips as she soon placed her hands on her hips, and couldn't help but let out a low chuckle from the way that the girl was speaking, she took a moment before she would try and analyze the girl a bit, she thought the girl had a bit of an aura around her, of powers she had felt quite well many a times.

The light of heaven perhaps, or that was her guess, the easiest way to be sure of that was to see how the girl would react to what Gil'dala was planning on doing next. The golden blond beauty that was the Goddess of Desire would soon create wings, feather by feather that sprouted out of her back. The girl didn't need wings to fly but she did need them for a more...theatrical purpose, if there was one thing that Gil'dala enjoyed it was theatrics, and with these wings of light purple light that now sprout out of her back she would fly down towards the Knight and would nod her head to the girl.

" You did well to suspect that, beings of my power are dangerous not to be careful around. And let me ask you young one, Is it right to lie before an emissary of God ?" Gil'dala said as she kept a perfect poker face but within her own mind she was laughing as much as she possibly could and had as much fun as any creature had ever had, while she tried to mess with this knight girl with a strange aura of holiness.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by Oathkeeper Sun Nov 04, 2012 6:59 am

Sephora was slightly amazed at her wings but, the knight seem unmoved for the most part. She watched this divine figure hover over her patiently as she blinked hearing Gil'dala's words. Sephora paused to reflect on her words before speaking.

"Oh no my lady, I only spoke to you out of courtesy a knight should always show courtesy to a lady your power had little to do with how I addressed you my eminence. Sephora said as she sheen answered her question slowly suspecting some trickery or play on words. "Oh no milady, it is never a virtue to lie no matter to whom too." Sephora answered slowly.

Sephora was no fool, she could tell this woman in front of her was powerful and divine but, she could also tell that this wasn't her god's aura all.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Gil'dala tilted her head as she listened to what this knight was saying, it felt strange that she was speaking such words and it only made her wonder a bit over why she didn't do the rest that was supposed to be apart of a knights code, and to test this young girl she would move in closer and place the tip of her finger under the girl's chin and pull it up a bit, she would look deeply into the girl's eyes and then say in a very serious tone, speaking as if she was of a lot higher rank...which she technically was.

" And is it not in a Knight courtesy to bow before a true lady and those of higher rank than thou ?" Gil'dala would say as she would then look down towards Sephora's blade and then back at the girl's cute face, " You planning on sheeting that blade ? Or have thou found an evil that ye want to vanquish within the quarters of my humble abode ?" Gil'dala said as she would move her fingers a bit and cup Sephora's chin, she started to like the way the girl looked and how her skin was as soft as that of a babies.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by Oathkeeper Tue Nov 06, 2012 6:05 am

Sephora let out a soft grunt as Gil'dala was being rather coy with her. She tilted her head up not resisting as she touched her chin but, she would look at Gil'dala with her green eyes with such cold focus as they reflected Gil'dala's reflection in them like a mirror made of jade. Sephora didn't smile nor say anything as she paused before speaking while her stare turned into glare.

"... A true Lady wouldn't touch a knight so casually..." Sephora remarked as she suddenly grew very serious. "I know not where your divine power springs from but, it is not my deity. Thus, I must ask you milady are you my friend or do you look at me with ill intention?"

Sephora clenched the handle of her sword as her gaze didn't falter neither did her eyes wander. "Speak now... or I shall use force to indeed vanquish the evil in which it calls this temple its humble abode."

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by LunarWolf Tue Nov 06, 2012 6:30 am

Gil'dala was a bit upset now that she was hearing what Sephora said and how she was acting, it seemed as if her newest pet that wandered into her home wouldn't give her the amusement that she was looking for, which was something that really was ticking The Goddess of Desire off, that worse part about her powers were the stupid free will of silly humans, though...that was a part of the challenge and she couldn't complain.

" A True knight would not speak to a lady who's house she had just invaded now would she ?" Gil'dala remarked back at Sephora as her tone of voice and demeanor turned serious long with Sephora's, " Ill intention ? To whom ? You ? A mere mortal ?" Gil'dala chuckled a bit to herself all before she heard Sephora's next comment, which was one that really set Gil'dala off, " Evil ? Vanquish ? You ?...really now ?" Gil'dala would take a moment before she would take the hand that was cupping Sephora's chin and move it away a bit all before she would attempt and backhand Sephora hard across the cheek, and that was hard for Gil'dala a being that carried superhuman strength.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by Oathkeeper Tue Nov 06, 2012 7:07 am

Sephora, beign a trained knight, lifted her gauntlet to shield herself from the blow. The armor, she was wearing was angelic armor which aided against the effects of magic but, hers was especially geared to defend herself against Arcane magic, it provided some protection from divine magic but, not to the same degree. Regardless, this being a physical attack, Sephora flew across the temple floor as her feet skidded across the tile floor. The Holy knight stopped a good 20 meters away from the demigod. The bones in Sephora's hand rattled from the force of the blow as she lifted her sword and brang the sword handle to be at level with her lips as the tip of the sword pointed skyward. Sephora closed her eyes in meditation as a holy light enveloped her whispering the name of her god and asking her deity for strength. An Aura began to build within her as she became stronger than an ordinary human but, her strength still paled in comparison to the Demi-God's strength. Knowing just how strong Gil' Dala was she resorted to utilizing speed instead. She lowered her sword as she pressed her weight down on her lead leg as the tiles cracked under the pressure of her foot. Sephora twirled her sword Crateris within the palm of her hand before bringing the sword to her face and parallel with the floor.

The Holy knight leaped fourth creating more cracks to appear as she propelled herself at such great speed. She would lunge with the sword at Gil'Dala's throat before pulling the sword back and lowering her level as she spun creating a blue arc of light that traveled close behind her sword as it cut attempted to carve its way to Gil'dala's midsection.

A Knight's Divine Encounter Empty Re: A Knight's Divine Encounter

Post by LunarWolf Tue Nov 06, 2012 8:41 pm

Gil'dala looked on as she watched as Sephora skited across the floor after she had punched her, which was sight to see as the girl did travel quite far across the floor which did seem like it would have discouraged Sephora a bit to make her not want to mess with The Goddess of Desire, but soon it became apparent that that was just what Sephora had planned for her as Gil'dala watched the girl go through a rather elaborate power up process it seemed and one that did make her let out a little chuckle, by the time the girl's power had been granted to her it almost seemed as if Gil'dala was bored of waiting and waved her right hand around a bit.

With the wave a shimmering red light appeared around it and soon took shape into a blade, now Gil'dala couldn't create blades but she could have any blade that she desired and the one that she desired now was a particular sword called Nægling, otherwise called Nagelring, the Norse played of legend. As Sephora came at her and swung her blade at the Goddess of Desire pointing the tip up to the blond haired beauties throat before going low and slashing, Gil'dala took a step back and snapped her arm around to throw a sword swing of Nægling at Sephora's blade and let them clash. " You got a pretty face and a pretty blade. I am a lucky Goddess aren't I ?" Gil'dala said with a little giggle, before she would try and twirl hers and Sephora's blades around in a wide circle and open up a gap between them, one that she would try and invade as she would move in as close as she could get to Sephora, making there be less than a centimeter between their faces as she would whisper to the girl " I'll add both to my collection ~"
