Re: So, what are AFW girls called?
I actually think dlamp's idea is the most feasible. It seems to go along with the Japanese thing for categorizing everything, or quantifying, like they're fondness for the circular line graphs showing what I can only assume are physical attributes or skills (I can't read Japanese).
Kind of like how tension heights had different houses or what have you. AFW Friction could have something evoking the different types of fighters.
<insert term for strong style>: Akashi Tanikaze
<insert term for technical wrestler>: Chigusa Yuuki
<insert term for brawler>: Sarah Gatt
<insert term for submission type>: Cassie Elliot (Not to use my own, but I can't think of others, though I'm sure there are tons)
<insert term for speed/flyer type>: Adrian Kytes (I think that's still accurate)
<maybe insert term for technical striker>: Someone who is a technical striker.
Dunno. You nerds seem to be in to that sort of thing " title="Razz" />
LIKE POKEMON. Angel is a level 5 submission/striker hybrid.

Mentioning Heights in any post earns you negative points, 'mouse. :P

jousters, combatants, rivals or DISPUTANT!
Have at thee, disputants!
" title="cookie" />
Rivals isn't a bad one of you're looking for something more generic like rumble roses and the like.
better than AFW'ers.

Eh, Heather's a better fit for the high flyer type than Adrian is right now, although i have said to add 900% more flips in later matches. Is there no outright cheater type?

That's way too many syllables for something that's supposed to be catchy and marketable. <_<
