Clyde Gastin Vs. Tai Kamiya: Dumpster Match

Time seemed to slow as Clyde focused on getting up to his feet before Tai, all while thoughts began to loom in his head regarding the many things Tai brought up before the match started. Sore things. Things that Clyde had not yet gotten over.

"Guess I had it comin' for Kamiya to bring up my shit. Didn't know it was on the 11 o'clock news though." Thought Clyde as he got on all fours and tried to rise up.

Suddenly though Tai came running at him. Clyde saw him out the corner of his eye and tensed up as he awaited to be struck. "Kinda miss that drunken spiral shit."

"UGH!" Clyde let out as Tai's knee struck the side of his head, rattled Clyde's skull and sending him down to the mat, shaken up by the blow. "Guhh... Cactus Bastard..." He muttered.

After connecting with the knee, Tai stumbled a bit before straightening himself, turning around and frowning as Clyde was recovering on the mat.


"Get up."


He muttered, slowly stepping a bit closer.


"You know Clyde, I've never had anything against you...hell, I think this is the first time you and I have ever even met..but you...you've talked some shit about me before, remember?"

Tai growled, moving over to Clyde's body and grabbing his hair, starting to pull him up to his feet.

"Did you think I wasn't listening?"

Clyde head was throbbing from the hard knee strike he took to the side of his head from Tai. Clyde had a thick skull but that didn't stop how rattled he felt from such a harsh blow, all he needed was some time to shake it off and he'd be back in the saddle again, ready to kick some ass. Tai however didn't seem too keen on letting Clyde get his bearings back right away.

Clyde grit his teeth and scoffed at Tai's words. Clyde talked shit about a lot of people in a little ol' promo back in the day, he was drunk, but he was being honest with his thoughts. Nothing had changed.

Clyde's eyes narrowed as he felt Tai's hands on his hair, the forbidden zone to tug on. "'Course I did!" Clyde answered honestly before trying to throw a hard right haymaker to Tai's jaw as he was being pulled up, hoping to rock his opponent with a blow that was intended to daze him.

Tai had just enough time to see the blow coming before Clyde's fist struck his jaw, his hands leaving the cowboys sacred hair as he backed away, turning around and bending over as he held his jaw, groaning and checking for damage.

"Damn that hurt.....gotta watch out for his strikes..

He thought to himself, making sure his jaw, nor any of his teeth, were broken.

"...God...what are your fist's made of anyway.."

He growled as he turned back towards Clyde, knowing full well that turning his back on him for any period of time would be a bad mistake to make.

Smacking Tai right in the jaw with his fist, Clyde grinned menacingly at the sight of his opponent's pain as he turned about and checked on his jaw that Clyde was SURE stung right about now.

Seeing that Tai was stunned by the blow and had his back turned away, Clyde didn't waste any time to follow up on the dude to take him down another notch. He planned on blasting that jaw real good as he stood up and sprinted for the ropes, jumping up on the middle rope and springing off it, turning his body in mid air, attempting to nail Tai in the jaw yet again with a springboard dropkick!

"Ya' Momma!" Clyde shot back while flying at Tai as he turned around.

Tai, jaw stinging, would turn around just in time for Lobo to leap at him and strike with both booted feet, soles crashing into the side of Tai's jaw and part of his cheek, leaving a small imprint on his face as the blow connected and sending him crashing down backfirst onto the mat, rolling to his side as he let out muffled groans of pain, holding his jaw as he rolled around on the mat.


"Mfmfmfmff!!"



If Clyde left him alone to recover, Tai would slowly roll over and get to one knee after a couple minutes, spitting out what was clearly a tooth onto the mat, small specks of blood coming with it.

"Owwwwww.....god damn it.....so much for a perfect smile..."

"BOOOOOOM!!!" Clyde hollered out in a rowdy manner when both his feet collided into the side of Tai's jaw, sending him down onto the mat, rolling around and releasing cries of pain as he was clearly hurt by the kick that send him down and appeared to have put big damage on his jaw.

As Clyde fell to his side on the mat, he looked up and saw Tai spit up that tooth. Clyde grinned instantly then stood up raising his arms up in triumph. "Hot Damn! First Blood, baby! Woo!" Clyde exclaimed like he just won a prize.

He then marched over towards to Tai and went to try and grab him by the hair with one hand and the top of his pants with the other. "Don't get excited, Brokeback Mountain." He said while trying to haul him up and drag him towards the nearest ropes, before attempting to throw Tai out of the ring over the middle rope and send him onto the arena floor below.

Tai was distracted, still holding his jaw and somewhat attempting to check for any more loose teeth, when Clyde grabbed him by his hair and the top of his pants, pulling him up to his feet and hauling him towards the ropes to toss him through!


"Gah!...Leggo...oh no...nononononononononAH!"


He protested and finally yelped as he was thrown between the ropes, landing hard with a solid "SPLAT" sound as he hit the covered up concrete on the outside, groaning and rolling over as he tried to catch his breath and recover, holding 1 finger steadily up in the air.


"..That.....was a good movie....."

Tossing Tai out the ring, Clyde watching the Vet tumble downward until he went SPLAT on the concrete floor outside, making the cowboy smirk lightly who would begin making his way to a nearby corner to proceed following up on his opponent only to pause when he saw Tai hold up one finger in the air. Clyde furrowed his brow at what Tai had to say.

"Wouldn't know!" He answered while climbing the turnbuckle. "But you'll have plenty of time to see it in the hospital, punk!" Clyde let out before leaping off the turnbuckle, trying to go for a flying elbow drop onto Tai's sternum on the outside.

Tai couldn't move out of the way in time, letting out a loud "OOOOFFF!" as Clyde's elbow crashed onto his sternum, driving the air from his body and leaving him on his side, wide eyed and gasping for air as he held his stomach, the pain coursing through his entire body from that blow, though he had to imagine that landing on padded concrete from such a height couldn't have been all that fun for the Cowboy either.
