Nostalgia Cartoons Empty Nostalgia Cartoons

Post by Kelsea Thu Feb 07, 2013 8:52 pm

Though it was about time for a random discussion thread and having spent most of today thinking back over old cartoons I use to watch, I figured I'd ask... Which cartoon or children's program themes send you back to your youth due to your love for the show?

At the risk of showing my age, mine are:

We were lucky enough for it to be translated... And maybe you were lucky enough NOT to have this translated in return:

I never saw the Legend of Zelda cartoons... But did they really try to cast link as a wannabe Han Solo...?

he was more of a romatic always trying to get a kiss from zelda, but something always happened to prevent the kiss and they only used stuff from the first 2 zelda games it was linked to the super mario brothers super show on fridays I think which had some funny skits.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (definitely), Batman the animated series (dark but fantastic series), Pokemon season 1 (it had charm), the original X-Men series and Spiderman (old school western animation), anddddd the Super Mario Bros Super Show :3 (hilarious). And I have to agree there with ya Kira, the Super Mario Bros Super show were cross-overed with one show called "Captain N", which featured most game icons such as Link, Megaman etc, but many were rinsed due to a young audience. Such as Motherbrain from Metroid, just looked too freaky :/
