"You had at least some choice in what you learned while growing up with your family which you should be thankful." He then turns to a nearby heavy bag and punches it pretty hard as it doesn't seem to hurt his knuckles as he learned to fight bare knuckled. He then said " I became as I developed my fighting skills as which I heard was called gladitorial fights for my mothers delight when there wasn't anything else left to teach me."

Reflecting on what Xerxan said, Shatter would nod, "I suppose you are right. And indeed, I should be thankful for that." He continued listening to the other one's story. "Gladiatorial huh? How brutal exactly are these kinds of fights. Are they traditional or do they push boundaries a little?"

He said " Brutaly savage I mostly fought spirited slaves who were labled perfect to be used as a example to the others what happens when they disobey." He continued to say " every so often I would get a female who though I was a joke which after I was given permission I would leave them badly injured." He added " there was a few females that were chosen just to beat me down to make sure I knew who was still the ruling gender."

Shatter would cringe a little at the thought of having to beat up others as an example. "Do you enjoy doing that? Smacking down on others and make them feel miserable and humiliated?" For his opinion, he thought that those people didnt deserve that.

"I really didn't have much choice in the matter of the fights with only two options win, or take a worse beating from my mother." Xerxan looks around as he notices several others took notice of how hard he hit the heavy bag without gloves and didn't get hurt.

Shatter would nod his head in understanding. "I see. Must've been a hard life for you then." He noticed how hard Xerxan was punching at the bag without gloves and he isn't getting hurt at all. "So, what you say is true...I can see that so much training and fighting made your strength quite impressive."

"I had to deal with punching through magical enhancements that harden skin alot which hurt my hands many times till I had to start playing dirty and kicking low and upward." "The one time I tried to tell my mother I wouldn't fight someone she threw a dart accurately at my opponent to let the poison inside slowly and painfully kill him saying I was the cause of all your pain now." She then after my opponent died procceeded to beat me down careful not to leave a lasting injury only make it hurt like hell so I would suffer for disobeying her command to fight, and after that I made my fights only last so long before going for a special finisher I call The Dark Sleep to choke them out as easy as I can to avoid them suffering.

Shatter was intrigued by how much he had to endure in order to be that strong. "Quite a name for a finishing maneuver to end the show. So, I'm guessing ever since that time, you wouldn't dare to turn your back on her. And still, you couldn't get your sisters to care?"

" She would get pissed they weren't taking it seriously, but always used me as a way to taunt them into improving by saying that if I can get strong without magic enhancements they could do it too." " My sisters resented my progress and beat my ass when they had a chance because by law striking them would cause me to be put to death."

Shatter tried to see the positive in all this harshness as he said, "There has to be a way to help your family, Xerxan. I mean, I know you may think it's unnecessary for me to do so and I may not be as strong as you are, but at least I can do something."
