The Austrailian Mudslide is Back.

Granted that most of you won't know me or remember me, but I've had a few matches here and there some time ago. Well I think its time to become a regular around here and try to have some fun again, but at the same time keep coming back. Anyway I think its time to jump into some matches with Zoe Taylor, my mud wrestling character from Australia and get her back into the squared circle. Furthermore I will update my characters as I think some proper changes need to happen.

So if anyone would …

Is the world really screaming for another Star Wars film?

I mean, fanboys already raged at the last 3, and they raged more when the Force Unleashed games were made Canon.

So, unless this is based of the Expanded Universe that star wars nerds love to shove in people's faces, I don't see a reason for it.

Then Again, I take after Freddy Mercury.

"Jaws was never my scene, and I don't like Star Wars."

Also, Never saw the original 3.

[quote="daemongirl":203nrfst]Lucas has said its time to pass star wars to a younger generation

Thank god... cause every time Lucas attempts to do that, he always comes up with something good (eg. Jar Jar) <img src=" title="cookie" />

I just see no reason for me to watch them.

I already know all the "Big Moments" seeing as they were all deeply ingrained in pop culture before I was even born.

And I already know the plot of all three of them just by being around people who saw it.

Kind like how, when 300 came out, I never saw it, never looked up anything on it, but by the end if its first week, I knew every big moment or important quote from the film, thanks to all the assholes that WOULD NOT STOP QUOTING IT...

Even now, I'll here a friend quote it and I will grab them and yell.

"NO! This is NOT Sparta! You are not kicking anybody! AND YOU DON'T HAVE ABS!!!"

As for the Episodes 1-3.....Darth Maul was by far the best thing to come out of those three. Plus, Liam Neeson. Pretty much everything else was either passable (The guy playing Obi Wan in 2/3) Or pure and utter Shite. (Anakin Skywalker. Hayden Christian playing Anakin Skywalker. Anakin Skywalker being a WHINY BITCH)

Disliking 300 and SW at once? <img src=" title="zomg" />

I don't even know what I'd like to see in the new movie except Lightsaber Duells. Maybe a Trip to the wookie world or something like that.

[quote="Harrier":q8wnqw8t]What makes me a little weary is that it's Disney buying. Donald Duck vs. Luke Skywalker Lightsaber duell?
Why would they do that? Disney bought Pixar and Marvel, and didn't interfere with either company. Why would they mess with Lucasfilm?

[quote="Daaharu":q8wnqw8t]From what I've seen, George Lucas will be remaining onboard as a creative consultant for the sequel trilogy. This could be either a good thing or a bad thing, depending upon the way you look at it.
It's a GOOD thing. He's got awesome ideas, he's just not a very good writer or director.

I actually agree with you 100%, there. <img src=" title="Very Happy" /> Just wanted to throw all those Lucas-haters a bone.

Okay, one more thing here. I'm sure most of you have noticed that I suck and the old Daaharu who could finish a thread in three days is gone now. But even so, I shouldn't be leaving threads for more than a week, and that has been happening with alarming frequency lately. So, please, if I have not replied to our thread in the last SEVEN DAYS, please LET ME KNOW on here or on Trillian so that I can suck a little bit less and not leave you hanging for a month.

Officially caught up to my AFW replies on February 9.

You're right. They indeed did not interfere in the companies they bought. So I guess there will also be new Indiana Jones movies then too. But who can hold a candle to Ford in that role?

I'm actually neutral regarding George Lucas. At least he has the wits not to shove his ideas into people's throats, he just said yes or no to canon related matters.

Speaking of backlashing movies, the last Batman Movie before Dark Knight bombed royaly, and look what a giant success the three new movies were, Top 100 of most watched ever. I would not count Indy out yet <img src=" title="Wink" />
