Shadows of the future [for cirno]

A few days had passed since Cecilia had faced off against who she was pretty sure she could call her longest standing rival in AFW to date, seeing as Gatt was pretty much her first real goal she got after joining AFW. Finally though she had gotten her long awaited rematch and had been able to beat the The Queen of Brawl, after which though she had taken a bit of time to rest, first to get back to 100% or as close that that as she could, during the match Cecilia had taken a lot of hits to the head and with it she had needed a day or two to recover fully, and after that she simply had spent some time lazying about a bit, seeing as she had cleared a major goal in her mind she found herself simply goofing off a bit.

But that was until she decided that she needed to keep herself serious, if she was going to make sure that this feeling and position stuck and stayed as it is. The Hardcore Queen had started to train herself again, more than just working out she was doing whole new training schedules and had even decided to go to the AFW gym more often, as such this was the first day of her spending her time training her unlike training in her own personal gym at home.

Still the only true main reason why she decided to come to the gym was to find more girl's to spar against and keep herself on edge, she knew she needed to finally keep herself ready for anything, any match and any situation like she had done before she faced Sarah again, she couldn't stop that yet. Besides with the hurdle of Sarah Gatt cleared somewhat the Hardcore Queen needed something else to focus on, but for now that focus was simply to try and get even better than before.

Cecilia already stood in the gym though and had started warming up a bit, doing a few stretches to loosen up her muscles and make herself ready to start her workout, as she kept doing so for a bit. Cecilia wore a pair of black shoes with red shoe laces, with that she also had a red sports bra on, covering her ample chest and hugging her breasts quite nicely and a pair of tight fitting black shorts that hugged her curves as well all this was capped off by Cecilia's hair being tied up into a long pony tail, as she was looking stretching though she looked around a bit to see if there was any potential sparring partners around, it seemed a bit empty at this hour...though it was early after all so maybe she just had to wait a bit.

Though it had been fairly recently that this fighter had joined the AFW in search for both money and fights, she already seemed to have making an impact just by training her. She had chosen the gym once more to do some serious work out, using the punching bag rather than one of the training mats to keep herself in full control of punches and kicks. Though she heard about newbies often being picked on and even sexually harassed, she had so far witnessed nothing of such sort done to her. Maybe it was because of her very well trained body, her shirt that was hiding away her abs, the muscles she carried that were simply covered by her training jacket..

Or maybe it was the way she was training with the punching bag. Her strikes were quick, fluent and quite powerful. The bag had fallen quite a few times from it's stand and she was a bit frustrated with that, since she had hoped there would at least have some powerful equipment she could work out on. She paid no attention to the other people here while some watched her silently. Course she knew she was being watched but it really wasn't a problem unless they decided to attack her.

She did a quick six punched frenzy to the punching bag before giving it a mighty spinkick to the side, knocking the bag off it's stand once more and letting it roll a few feet away, which made the girl sigh out in frustration as she went over to pick the bag up and towards the stand again. It didn't matter how many times it would fall off. As long as it wasn't broken she would keep practicing on it and even if it was, she would find other methods to train her body with, refusing to let anything get in the way of her hard routine workout. This was the power and dedication of a true soldier. The soldier; Mikasa.

Cecilia head soon moved up a bit as she heard a thud that came not too far away from her, she would then shake her head a little and pulled herself up towards her feet and then would start to walk around in search for that sound, when she finally found it she saw a girl that she couldn't say she had ever seen before, she took a moment to inspect the girl seeing that she did look rather strong and was quite a cute girl as well, with that there was nothing that the Hardcore Queen could do instead of try and move up towards the bag that Mikasa was punching.

The Hardcore Queen would soon slowly try and move in behind the back to hug her body against it so that what Mikasa was punching now had some weight and wouldn't fly off that easily anymore. " Mind if I help you out a bit ?" Cecilia let out with a little bit of a teasing voice, she would then grin a bit as she looked up on Mikasa and throw her a gentle wink of her eye. " Or would you rather have it fly away from you over and over again ?".

With that she would simply try and keep herself pressed against the bag to not let it budge and inch when Mikasa punched at it and went for her training. As it was now Cecilia figured there would be nothing wrong with helping this girl out a little bit and welcoming her to AFW...that was if she was new and Cecilia hadn't just made a huge mistake in thinking that she was.

Mikasa stopped herself from landing another punch from the bag, just inches removed from it as Cecilia came to hold the bag against her and soon spoke out. Though the girl seemed to mean well despite that wink pretty much throwing it off for Mikasa, she wasn't looking for any kind of help of some sort because she wasn't sure who to trust and who to keep distanced. However, she was getting pretty tired from always having to pick the damn thing up so with a si;ent nod and a withdrawled from her fist, she would accept the hardcore Queen's invititation to help out.

She paused for only a second though as she would start to unload a pattern of high and medium aimed punches to the bag, making sure that each punch did not have a recognizable angle from the last one. This was not to throw herself off or anything but rather to treat this bag like it was an opponent that was looking to block punches that were becoming predictable, something that Mikasa would never do. After a good barrage of punches, she would bring her fists back and instead send about three low, medium and high kicks to the bag before she would spin her body around and send one hell of a spin kick towards the side of the bag though she made sure not to hit Cecilia, she wasn't planning on making enemies just yet, especially those who have not attacked her first yet.

Cecilia looked on at the mighty fine display that was this new fighter training as she watched what she assumed the hesitant girl start up her punching again, she kept the bag in place each punch rocking the bag a little but Cecilia held it there with ease as each punch went on and on and on, and after a while she changed up the pattern and did more and more pretty interesting things for the Hardcore Queen to see, so far this girl seemed rather interesting and it made her raise and eyebrow a little bit.

When those kicks started coming she certainly had a slight problem when it came to keeping her hold on the bag, but that was only from the surprise that came from those kicks, but when she got used to it she found it not being rather difficult for her to keep up with. "You've got some pretty nice moves there. Mind if I ask you your name ? Or do you simply want to train." Cecilia said with a little grin on her face as she looked on at Mikasa whilst the girl kept up her striking, she had to admit that so far she was really interesting in this girl as she saw that she seemed to quite a serious fighter.

After a while she would start to slow down and eventually stop when Cecilia decided to ask for her name, tilting her head to the side so she could look at Cecilia, who was still holding punching bag before she would say with a soft yet dominant tone of voice. " ..Mikasa. " She would direct her attention back to the punching back, holding her fists up before she started sending a few light but quick right hooks to the bag with an occasional hard left hook, just trying out some combinations out on the bag now that Cecilia was holding it firmly.

Though she should be thankful for it, she was not used to thanking anyone, so she just decided to let it be for now and at least give the girl her name.

Cecilia smiled a bit as she looked on at the girl who finally gave her her name, with that the Hardcore Queen would then see how the fighter went back to her training and with that she would let out a little chuckle, shaking her head for a second to try and stop it, " Well Hello then Mikasa, I'm Cecilia, Cecilia Northman. But You can call me ....really whatever you want, everyone seems to call me different things around her. Some call me Cec, others call me Cecilia, some blondy and other's just call me Northman." Cecilia said as she would give Mikasa a nod of her head and would then look on at the fighter for a few seconds.

"Is this the training you're gonna do for today ? I mean a bag is hardly a worthy sparring partner don't you think ? If you want I could help you spar a bit." Cecilia let out as she would try and step away from the bag and look on at the girl as she did.

The girl went on after she gave her an answer, almost making her roll her eyes as such people usually got shot first in a war. However, she decided not to start anything and just let the girl talk for now as she would focus solely on the punching bag in front of her that Cecilia still held, it was easier to just train on that rather than just join in an conversation that she didn't want, she spoke louder with actions rather than words anyway.

Then she stopped midway another punch. Did the girl just asked her for a spar? The thought was amusing since the punching bag was just a training tool but it could not give her the live action that Cecilia could bring her. She withdrew her fist from near the bag and back to her front so she could rub her other hand over the wrist, her eyes looking at Cecilia's now. " ...Okay. " She might as well accept it and see what this girl was made of.

Cecilia watched the dark haired girl as she kept punching but finally it seemed that the girl was done with punching and with that she agreed to her proposal of going for a real spar between the two of them, Cecilia would look on at Masaki and would then nod her head, after which she would start to head up towards the ring, looking back to see if the dark haired girl followed her.

" So what rules you wanna do for this spar ? Maybe submission ? if you want I can go easy on you, but something is telling me that I maybe don't need to. " Cecilia said as she had seen a bit of the girl's skills when it came to striking and so far this new addition to AFW did seem like she was going to fit in quite well when it came to strength and skill.

Mikasa would let the punching remain where it was for now and followed Cecilia towards the practice ring. However, when the girl spoke about taking it easy on her, she would narrow her eyes and look at Cecilia, taking it more as an insult than someone who was trying to show a newbie the ropes. She would just have to try and let it go unnoticed for the girl did not know her background.

She slipped herself inside of the ring without waiting for Cecilia to do it first, finding the nearest turnbuckle to rest against. " ..Whatever you're best at. " She would challenge the girl to best her at her own game, something that would surely show that Mikasa was more than just a sadistic punch bag fighter.
