That is indeed a loaded question.

Personally, I love Majora's Mask. It's my favorite of the games.

But nobody else really likes it, though it got just as high review scores as Ocarina of Time.

The Youngest Link has ever been was...I think 10?

And still, its not like they are doing anything wrong with him. Just having him fight monsters, use time travel to grow older by 7 years, and kick ass and save the day.

Plus, thats only one game. Link has been older in Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword had him as an adult the full game.

As for the plots...the plots are epic adventures set through a grand world. Or to simplify, Ganondorf/Ganon is being evil, go stop him.

Granted, maybe it's not the non linear, non story path of say, Minecraft. Nor does it have the bells and whistles of a Modern Call of Battle: Dutyfield Honor Ops:Warfare Medal Edition.

But they are very fun games....and some feature very hard puzzles.

I think the last game I played on a Nintendo of any sort that I really liked was Bubble Bobble when i was probably 8.

Tai, Ganon's only been in like, half the games in the series, y'know. He doesn't really show up as much as people think. :P

It was a general statement.

Alex would say Link's Awakening or Twilight Princess.

I would say Ocarina of Time or Four Swords Adventures.

Majora's Mask is really fun....but the focus on sidequests and the 3 day "time limit" that can be reversed has turned some fools off of it.

I would say Link's Awakening or Link to the Past if you want a 2D Zelda.

I would say Twilight Princess (Gamecube version only!) or Wind Waker if you want a 3D one.
