Re: Favorite movie this year, so far?
So, who's seen the latest Spiderman flick? Does it suck or is it good?

I saw it. It's alright. It's way better then Spider-Man 3, but it's got a lot of flaws, too. Nothing major, just a lot of little things that added up and annoyed me.

[quote="Harrier":31hlepj1]I actually fear the release of the Hobbit, thats bound to be shit(Dwarfes and a hobbit team anyone?).

I am kind of a fan of the Batman franchise, so I am looking forward to Batman. And probably an Escape from New York movie in the future, but I fear nobody can fullfill the expectations of Carpenter and Russel...
expectations?
also...
meanwhile in Mexico...

Re: Favorite movie this year, so far?
Let's pretend that Peter Jackson keeps true to his line from his other movies, ok? All the movies in his LotR
were nothing gut great, but the fool(aside from the Hobbit cousins responsible for the disappearance of Gandalf) in all the movies was always Gimmly(Dwarf females have beards cause they look like male dwarves/cocky against the Rohan Riders/attacks the unbreakable ring/can't jump this far at the gates). There are a lot of dwarves in the Hobbit.
If he manages to make the Hobbit a decent movie anyway, fine by me.

Just cause Ghimli was comic relief, doesn't mean he's gonna turn all ten of the dwarves in The Hobbit into comic relief. :P

SnowWhite had 7 dwarfs as comic relief. I don't see why this movie can't have 10.
