Strategy: Her strategy is to apply slow offensive pressure, trying to make the opponent make the mistakes, she tends not to make risky moves in the beginning of the match, but if she is being worn down, she will try her best to win, losing her sense of caution, thus becoming more vulnerable.

Fatal Cross: When the opponent grabs for her legs, she clears away their arms with double blocks, then hits them on both sides of the ribcage, and quickly switches that hit into dual back-knuckle strikes to the temples, leading into a knee to the face.

Calming the Storm: When the opponent throws a punch; she delivers an outward block, then with the opposite hand fires a straight punch to their face and immediately checks the opponents hand as the blocking hand delivers a punch to the solar plexus of the enemy.

Circle of Doom: When the opponent kicks, she places her hand underneath their calf; pushing it first up to make them unbalanced, then out to have their now useless leg begin to make an arc. Then she follows through with a kick to the inner thigh to have her opponentâ€s leg continue its arc. Then planting the foot she kicked with, she will deliver a hooking kick to the opponents head with the opposite foot.

Finishing moves:
Bow to Buddha: ducking underneath a dazed opponentâ€s punch, she will bow to them bringing her hands together, and then she will suddenly lash out, driving her elbow into their ribs and the opposite fist to their temple, as she sweeps them to the floor. Then she will grab their legs as they fall, twisting them towards a Boston Crab, but she will first deliver a kick to their head to further injure them.

Final Cycle: A variation on the Circle of Doom, she will reverse the direction of the hooking kick, letting her drop onto the opponent, and pull them into a cross armbar until they submit.

Kurai wears a form fitting white top that is very tight around her breasts, her tan and black combat gloves, a very short black skirt, and sneakers. (May be changed each match >.>)

Personality:
Kurai is a competitive girl; she enjoys the feeling of a good match. She loves to have close match-ups, where every little move is important. If a match is boring, she will go for her finishers very quickly, hoping to end it. She is rather reserved, and comes off as shy, but she just doesnâ€t trust people easily. When she does trust someone, or is enjoying a good match, she will loosen up, laughing and smiling, and will be ready to have a good time. Outside the ring, she retains her reserved side, and avoids talking to most people if she can.

Past/History:
Kurai was born into a family full of martial artists, and she followed the family tradition very well. From a very young age, she became very good at kenpo, giving her many counters to normal moves. She began to enter competitions and discovered she was something of a prodigy, at least in regards to kenpo. Her two brothers grew jealous of their younger sister as she shot past them in lessons, and began to master Muay Thai as well, so they decided to punish her. They gathered a gang of their friends, and they all proceeded to attack Kurai. At first they went in one at a time, and Kurai had no problems countering them till they were exhausted, but then they all flooded in and began beating on her. The boys were vicious, simply pounding away at her, and her brothers looked on in horror, realizing what theyâ€d done. They ran to get their parents, to try and help Kurai without looking guilty, and it worked, their parents were able to deal with the boys, but Kurai would never forget the beating they gave her. To this day, whenever she faces a man in a fight, she will attempt to break him, whether it is limb or will; she is merciless in her vengeance.
She was much quieter after that day, she knew why her brothers had called for the boys to beat her up, and she didnâ€t want to give them another reason to. She still entered tournaments, still beat challengers, but her heart wasnâ€t in it, she was afraid to go all out or draw attention to herself. That was until she was sixteen, and she ended up facing a real monster. Kori Nasagai, a well-built, tall, beautiful opponent that was easily as good as Kurai at her best, found herself dominating the worried champion and she got very angry very fast, “Whatâ€s up, this isnâ€t even a fight, are you afraid of me or something?” she said as she dropped Kurai to the mat with a Dance of Darkness (black belt kenpo technique). “Pathetic. You canâ€t even respect your opponent enough to fight properly? What kind of champion are you?” Kori spat as the match went on, and Kurai felt the beginnings of something she hadnâ€t felt in a long time: a desire to fight with everything she had. She wanted so desperately to prove Kori wrong, but she still felt herself holding back. That is, until Kori delivered a perfect spinning back kick to her chest. After that hit, the flame was lit once more, and Kurai finally went all-out, reveling in the close matchup, in the challenge her opponent presented. Kurai managed to win the match, but presented to prize to Kori, claiming her as the only fighter she would respect. The two became as close as sisters after that. She felt the competitive flare again, and began mastering more martial arts to find opponents that could give her that same rush. After proving again and again that she was the best at what she knew best, she wanted to expand her fighting horizons and she still desired that ultimate fight, so she looks to wrestling and AFW to find it.
