Flick of the Wrist (For Tatyina)

It has been quite the past few days for one Heather Sunderland as she not only had made quite the new friend, but she ended up getting in a confrontation with her fiance Clyde Gastin. She wanted to take a break from it all for just a few, taking it upon herself to drive back to the Friction facility. She wasn't scheduled for any matches on that day, but she always preferred their gym facilities better than the ones that were offered at the Tension area. She had made her way there, walking in wearing her wrestling attire, her black bikini top, black baggy pants, black boots, and a new dark purple dress she had went out and bought, similar to her old one, that she would leave opened like a long coat over it all.

Letting out a long sigh, she would look around. "Haah...Where to start.." She would say to herself. She wasn't looking really for any full on training per se, moreso just to get her mind off things. However, she would go about her usual routine, doing leg exercises and a few abdominal workouts. With the moveset that she got herself accustomed to, these were the only things she preferred to work on along with her usual cardio.

The whole while, she just couldn't get her worries out of her head. Every second that she was working her body, a thought or two of the situation with Clyde would pop up in her head. She held no hard feelings whatsoever to Megumi, actually considering her quite a close friend after what she had done for her, but the talk she had with Clyde she wished she could go back and erase it. His words were still reverberating through her head and she kept clenching her teeth, working through as hard as she could to get rid of that.

"Damnit...I...I didn't even fucking DO anything!" Heather would yell out, knocking over one of the chairs as she did before she would take a deep breath, shaking her head.

Relaxing herself finally, she would pull up two chairs, making it so they were facing eachother, both of them set up. She would pull her leg up on one before jumping to throw her other leg up on the other. Her pants were loose enough to not restrict her from stretching herself out as she closed her eyes, trying to take in and out deep breaths as she did, doing a sort of split with the aid of the chairs for a cooling down stretch.

It had been a pretty ridiculous week for Mamouru Higurashi as well. The young wrestler and 'manager-in-training' had watched his protege get humiliated by one of the tougher wrestlers int he league. And expected result but the way the match went was anything but. Mamouru thought that Cassie could win, but that she would need to use some dirty tactics to achieve it. He wouldn't have been surprised with a loss but the whole fight hadn't gone more than a few seconds and Cassie had been crushed so utterly.

Now he was going to have to fight Megumi. It was something he wanted but at the same time he knew that he would also be someone shackled. He didn't know exactly how he felt about her. She was attractive and his instincts were to try and break her. But for Cassie's sake, he couldn't. He needed to prove to Cassie the benefits of heel tactics and killer instincts while at the same time trying to earn some respect from Megumi. It was an entirely difficult situation.

He would be leaving for Kyoto shortly but for now he was still in Tokyo and decided to try and clear his head with a work out. Normally he would not be allowed in the AFW gym area to train unless it was under a managerial capacity but he thought it was late enough that he could sneak in without anyone noticing.

But as he stepped in, he heard some voices. Just one and he peeked into the room discreetly to see the black haired girl talking to herself. He watched from a position out of sight and when she kicked the chair and spoke harshly, he knew that something was wrong. He tried to listen for as long as she could but she suddenly went silent. He looked on as she was doing the splits. Mamouru stepped into the room, deciding to get a closer look. He was able to recognize her as Heather Sunderland. A beauty that he was mildly acquainted with. A friend of Cecelia's who was attached to a crude young man named Clyde.

He let out a sigh. He couldn't deny that in that position, she was looking very good but at the moment, she was an impediment to the clearing of his own head. Still... maybe he could engage her in some conversation. That alone might get whatever was on their minds, off. "Excuse me, Sunderland-san?" He said in a polite voice, lowering his head. 'That's very impressive." He added. "I ... hope you don't mind, but would it be ok if I worked out here? Normally men aren't allowed but if it's just you and me, and you don't mind, I could really use a work out to clear my head." He smiled at her. "Of course I'll leave if you say no." He added.

Heather could see it herself as a sort of rung of good luck in the fact that from what she saw, she was the lone one in the gym, especially because of the small fit that she just threw. She could imagine if it was packed full, she would get quite a few wondering eyes and at the moment, she felt that that was the last thing that she needed. The near silence was possibly the one thing that was helping her along in the little fight that she was having with her own thoughts.

In the position that she was in, the stretch was more than enough to get her body into a better state. It was one of the stretches that she made sure she did before each of her matches, knowing how many risks are involved with the moveset that she had created for herself. Being completely in the zone as she was, she didn't even hear that Mamouru had made his way into the gym area before he would come up to her.

As she first heard the voice, she would click her tongue. "*sigh* Listen I--" Heather would begin to let out before she would look up, seeing who it was. "O-oh it's you. Sorry." Heather would let out before she would hear the rest of his words. "Ah...No it's fine, I don't mind." In her head, she would be slightly offed by the fact that the silence was gone, but it being someone she somewhat knew it didn't seem too much of a deal, especially since he was someone Cecilia obviously had quite the liking for.

"Don't mind me, I'm just cooling down anyways." She would add, leaning down and planting her hands on the ground so she could slip one of her legs off a chair, followed by the other. Letting out a long breath, she would get herself up before sitting herself down on the chair, rubbing her thighs a bit.

"Excellent." Mamouru said and looked around the gym to see what he might want to tackle first. He then looked down at Heather and watched as she got back to a normal sitting position.

"Cooling down?" He asked. "Did you have a tough match... or is something wrong?" He questioned, starting his stretches while he asked her. He was dressed in a loose black tank top, track pants and some sneakers.

Heather would smile up at Mamouru as she sat down a bit before she would lean back in the chair. She would let out a long sigh, trying to get herself settled as much as she could to relax her body and mind. With all that's happened, along with the fact that she may have just overworked herself minutes ago, she felt she needed it.

"Wha? Ah I-It's nothing really." Heather would say, looking over at Mamouru as he started to stretch himself out. "Just..a few things at the home, that's all really...I guess you could also say that about the match, still a bit worked up but I took care of that already...what brings you here anyways? Visiting Cecilia?"

Mamouru smiled politely at Heather's words until she brought up Cecelia. He turned his head ever so slightly as a faint blush came over his cheeks. "Well... un... Actually I am here on business. Hopefully I will get a chance to visit Cecelia-chan soon but I don't think that I will be able to."

He cleared his throat. "I have been busy with managing duties. I'm trying to wrestle away a contract from Thomas Drake and the experience has been more than a little stressful. I would have liked to have been done and over with it, but it seems as though there are still some loose ends to tie up. It's fine though really..." He said waving it off as he decided to take the seat next to Heather, or rather, found himself sitting in it without even realizing he had moved.

"It's fine though. A little bit of stress is nothing if I can pull her out of obscurity and keep her from being mediocre her whole career." He added and flashed a smile at Heather.

Heather would tilt her head a little as she saw Mamouru turn and blush at the mention of Cecilia. The motion caused her to let out a small laugh before she heard his words. "Oh, well that's a shame. I was planning on going to see her tonight, might as well stay in the area while I'm here you know? The trip back to Kyoto isn't exactly a quick one."

She would listen to his words though as he began talking about his reasoning in being here. The mention of Drake seemed familiar to her, but she wasn't sure why exactly. It seemed like a passing name, but one that had some sort of significance. With what Mamouru was saying though, it seemed the two weren't on the greatest terms, causing some problems.

She would watch as he went and sat next to her, smiling back at him as he did, crossing her arms. "Well that sounds nice, I mean not the whole stress thing, but you doing what you are for whoever sounds very nice." Heather would say before grinning a little. "That's some work-out you have going on there by the way. Surprised you can keep it up." Heather would add with a joking tone as he was simply sitting next to her.

Mamouru tilted his head and looked at Heather. "Really? Ahhh, well, unfortunately I do need to get back to Kyoto sooner rather than later. It's a shame though." He added.

He then looked at Heather as she spoke about him. "Ah, yes. Well... Even though I believe I am a decent enough wrestler, I would prefer to manage almost exclusively but right now I have to wrestle to supplement managing." He lowered his head. "As I don't officially even have a single charge yet. Hopefully that will change soon. Cassie-san is a project but I would like to expand in the future." He added.

He then shook his head and looked down, standing up quickly. "Ah, well..." He stuttered for a moment before sighing. "I was interested in having a chat, I suppose." He bowed. "Please forgive me. I should let you get back to your workout as well..."

"Managing? Really..that's interesting." Heather would say to Mamouru's words as he talked about what he was striving to do, mentioning Cassie as he did, someone that Heather didn't know of at all. "Well, hopefully you can find more to take under your wing. I'm sure you'll do fine with that if you're as dedicated to the person you're managing as it sounds."

Heather would nod her head before Mamouru would quickly stand up, stuttering as he spoke a bit before he bowed and apologized. "Hey hey, relax. I was just joking. I don't mind having someone to talk to for a little while anyways, you aren't bothering me. Sit back down." Heather would say, shaking her head a bit as she laughed.

"Relaxing like this works better than stressing your body anyways to take your mind off things...trust me I just learned that firsthand. This is why you're here right?"

"You think so?" Mamouru asked with a hint of excitement in his voice. Maybe she was just being polite but that was ok for now. "I haven't actually started looking for more talent yet." He admitted. "Having someone like Cassie-san who is relatively new is fun, but maybe I should find an established girl who hasn't found a decent manager for my next client. Then again..." He paused on purpose. "Most girls who aren't just starting out feel like they have no benefit from a manager."

Mamouru smiled at Heather as she asked him to sit back down. That would eb excellent. "Sure. It is nice, I suppose." He said. "I don't usually get a chance to talk to you by yourself." He chuckled softly. "Not that I mind your adoring husband.' He made the mistake purposefully. "He's certainly a spirited fellow."

Mamouru nodded at Heather's words. "Ah, yes. I am certainly here to relieve some stress. I am not even sure if chatting with you will be able to relax me however. Please take no offense, you're certainly a refreshing and lovely change of pace but my tribulations are far from over..." He added.
