Standard Match
Win by Pinfall or Submission

Saturday - 10:13 p.m. - Kyoto, Japan - AFW Tension Arena Complex

It was late Saturday night in Kyoto, Japan. A home to thousands of Wrestling Fans who had gathered to the AFW Tension Arena Complex for tonight's show. For Clyde T. Gastin of Liberty, Texas however, it was just another day of work, but nonetheless he was excited because he was going to compete in the Main Event tonight, against a mystery no less but either way Clyde didn't care.

Sitting down on a bench within the locker room, Clyde made a quick text message to his beloved fiancee, Heather Sunderland, telling her to watch him tonight in the ring. He then closed his phone and tossed it the locker before making his way towards the backstage entrance area.

Soon enough, the sounds of Gunshots would ring out through the arena as [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mCTSiGJs9k:yyqq4te2]"Pistol Packin'" by Hank Williams III[/url:yyqq4te2] began to play, a cloud of grey smoke developing from the entrance stage as the song played out until the instruments fully kicked and Clyde Gastin emerged from the smoke, clad in a White T-shirt, Blue jeans, Brown leather gauntlets, Cowboy Boots and his Cowboy Hat over a Brown Trenchcoat. Making his way down to the ring, being greeted with mixed chorus of boos and cheers as he walked down to the ramp.

Clyde then ran forth and slid inside the ring before making his way to his corner, slumping against it as he turned towards the entrance stage and waited for his opponent to arrive.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Oathkeeper Wed May 02, 2012 7:04 pm

Instead of music and lights or any other flashy media, stepping forward Clyde's opponent came from the ring entrance taking step by step down the ramp as his foot steps echoed. A hooded figure with jeans walked down the lane, his eyes fixed up ahead as Clyde could see a feint smile. He stepped in between the top and the middle rope to enter the ring. Lowering his hoodie, underneath lay a dark haired man that was familiar to Clyde. Yu-shin grinned as he looked at his former acquaintance, he even laughed a little. He seemed a bit thinner from their last encounter, his eyes seemed to be older and somehow he looked a bit tired. The young martial artist looked at Clyde with a shake of his head but, not in dissaproval but, more in the sense of disbelief.

"Hey Clyde..." He said, "It certainly has been a while. I can see you've changed a bit since when I last saw you. I didn't expect to meet you here again of all places..."

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Lobo Wed May 02, 2012 7:22 pm

Remaining slumped against the turnbuckle, Clyde would watch a lone, hooded figure with jeans make his way from the entrance ramp, down towards the ring. The sight caused Clyde to lean up a bit from his corner as he raised an eyebrow towards his opponent who had no music or lights to accompany his entrance, which was kind of the thing to have in regards to wrestling, but whatever, maybe he was just some jobber or something.

However, as the hooded man got into the ring and lowered his hoodie to reveal himself, Clyde's eyes shot wide open as he saw a familiar face that he once expected to never see again. It had been so long, so many things had changed since those days and Clyde honestly wasn't sure how to react at all once he saw that his opponent was the newly returned Kim Yu-Shin of all people.

"....Y-Yu S-Shin?" Clyde would stammer out in disbelief as he lifted up his cowboy hat to make sure he wasn't seeing a ghost or something. Nope. It was definitely Yu-Shin. "You... Went off and became a Jedi or somethin'?" Clyde would ask in a joking demeanor to his opponent who had clearly changed the last time he had seen the martial artist. But then again, Clyde had changed as well and was proud to see that Yu-Shin noticed this.

"Dang right it's been a while, boy! And I could say the same 'bout you, too! Clyde would exclaim before eagerly marching up to his opponent to offer a handshake.

"Heh... Thought you were dead or somethin'... A lot's changed since you left... More than you know..." Clyde would comment with a grin.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Oathkeeper Wed May 02, 2012 7:48 pm

Yu-shin shook his hand as he chuckled at Clyde's enthusiasm, "Looks like a lot has changed you seem... a lot more mature last time I left."

The martial artist went back to Clyde's first question, "well, that depends did you become a cowboy? Hehe... Well, sort of... I went back packing again wanting to visit some old friends. Its a lot harder then I remembered it when I was younger. I ended up in Tokyo, so that how I got here. I just sort of got lost from my wanderings and found myself here."

Yu-Shin smiled as he folded his arms and looked at Clyde as if he wanted to ask him something, "So... hows the rest of the gang?- Oh that's right! I heard through the grapevine that you're now betrothed! Congratulations!"

Leaning in, he gave Clyde a firm pat on the shoulder.

"But, you know... that doesn't mean I'm gonna let you win." He chuckled.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Lobo Wed May 02, 2012 8:48 pm

"Heh... Yeah I guess I kinda have grown up a lil'... But I've always been a Cowboy." Said Clyde with a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his head under his hat while he shook Yu-Shin's hand. Clyde then listened to what Yu-Shin had to say and would nod as he spoke, finding it rather odd yet interesting that the Martial Artist had gotten lost but manged to find his way back to Tokyo, which confused Clyde a bit. "But... This is Kyoto, dood." Said Clyde with a small chuckle.

Clyde would then frown though when Yu-Shin asked about the rest of the gang, but his spirits quickly picked up when he mentioned his awareness towards the fact that he was engaged now, unable to help slight embarrassment as he was congratulated. "Ah? Uh... Y-Yeah I am! That's another thing that's changed! Met the girl of my dreams and decided I wanted to marry her. I'll have to introduce you to her, but yeah, thanks man!" Clyde would say with a wide smile.

Clyde then heard Yu-Shin's next words that made his expression turn into a slight smirk. "Aw, I'm crushed..." Clyde would remark in a jokingly sarcastic manner before he took a few steps away from Yu-Shin, removing his hat and trenchcoat before throwing them to the outside. Cracking his knuckles as he looked towards his taller opponent, ready to get on with the match before a few flashbacks rolled into the Texan's head, remembering that when Yu-Shin disappeared, so did Ayame and the others in the Dojo... even... Setsuna Shinu.

"Hey Yu... I gotta question. Since you're back does that mean Ayame Kurosagi is too? Y'all still goin' out?" Clyde would ask curiously, honestly hoping that things hadn't changed too much. A moment later though, Clyde would ask about another familiar face that he kinda missed. "...Setsuna?"Clyde would curiously with a nervous look on his face. It felt weird seeing Yu-Shin because he reminded Clyde about the old Sex Wars days that he had left behind, along with his former self, his old womanizer self. He remembered having a fling with that beautiful boxer for a brief time, Setsuna Shinu. While Clyde did change his ways and now truly only loved one woman, he couldn't deny that he missed some of the old days with Setsuna and felt a bit guilty that he never officially put an end to their fling together.

He wondered if she was still around these days.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Oathkeeper Wed May 02, 2012 9:52 pm

Yu-Shin scratched his head, "Is it? Hehehe you see this is why I get lost so often..."

Yu-shin's expression changed as well as he mentioned Ayame. "No... we had a disagreement. Like you Ayame has changed but, perhaps not for the better or perhaps I changed her. I have heard from Setsuna that she's returning to AFW and she's coming back as well."

The memory of the two of them yelling and screaming at each other disturbed him. He shook his head, Yu-shin sighed, its been long since he's seen her as well. Ayame reminded him much of how he used to be when he was her age violent, reckless and so rebellious. During their travels, they had gone their separate ways. Something triggered a change within Ayame and she had somewhat of a bad streak. It was like she was dark ayame 24 7.

"But, we can always talk after the match is finished... its a long story... So go easy on an oldie like me" Yu-shin said cranking his arm.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Lobo Wed May 02, 2012 10:07 pm

"How the... W-Wah.... How'd you even make it to the arena?" Clyde would ask with a clearly confused expression on his face. Shin didn't even know what city they were in, there's no way he made it to the arena by any natural means of transportation on his own.

Clyde's exaggeratedly shocked and confused expression would fade though when Yu-Shin mentioned that he and Ayame were no longer an item, which dissapointed Clyde quite a bit since he recalled the two being very happy together. Clyde then listen to Yu-Shin's explanation regarding the breakup, a bit curious, worried and dissapointed in regards to the subject that Ayame has changed as well over the many, many months. Then Clyde heard Setsuna was returning, which was something he honestly didn't know how to respond to.

"Oh! That's... Great to hear... Heh..." Clyde would say nervously to Yu-Shin before hearing his next couple of words that would begin their match.

"I gon' try my best to do that... But I gotta be honest here. I feel like I got somethin' to prove here tonight. There's a lot of things that's changed about me, Yu. I ain't the same lil' cocky punk you knew from back in the day... I've gotten better, stronger, faster... I won myself the 24/7 title and met the Girl of my Dreams, my drive to be the best I dang well can be. It's great to see you and all pal, but your return ain't gon' be so great 'cause now you fightin' Clyde T. Gastin... Tension's Best!" The blonde haired cowboy would exclaim as he rose his fists up in guard, waiting for the bell to ring before charged in towards Yu-Shin, trying to get in close enough before leaping up and trying to hit Yu-Shin at the side of his head with an Enziguri.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Oathkeeper Wed May 02, 2012 10:51 pm

Yu-Shin nodded and smiled impressed by what Clyde's been up to all this time. The martial artist watched as Clyde ran at him at the ring of the bell, he was certainly impressed by his ability to use a Enziguri. As Clyde was about to send a powerful kick to the side of the head, the martial artist would go into a muay thai stance and hid behind his arm as he blocked the kick. The martial artist stumbled a bit after the kick had rattled him a bit. Yu-shin took a step back and took a breath trying to set a slower pace.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Clyde grit his teeth as he felt Yu-Shin's arm block the Enziguri, still he was satisfied in being able to rattle his opponent enough and make him stumble back a bit. Clyde had almost forgotten how Yu-Shin fought save for the fact he used Martial Arts. This match was definitely going to be interesting because it was a clash between Clyde's Self-Taught, messy Street Brawling and Wrestling against Yu-Shin's years of training in perfecting his fighting techniques.

After falling back onto the mat, Clyde quickly rushed back onto his feet just as Yu-Shin took that step back, trying to close in on his opponent, Clyde would attempt to bring his right arm back and swing it out wildly towards Yu-Shin's jaw, attempting to hit him with a wild and hard haymaker.

Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin Empty Re: Clyde Gastin Vs. Yu-Shin

Post by Oathkeeper Thu May 03, 2012 4:12 am

Yu-Shin was certainly a bit surprised from Clyde's striking skill, it was a bit rugid and unrefined but, it did the job. However, Clyde was just not at Yu-Shin when it came to striking. Yu-Shin ducked underneath the oncoming haymaker and would counter Clyde's strike with a knee strike to the cowboy's rib cage still maintaining his muay thai stance protecting his face with his wrists facing outwards. Yu-Shin would follow up with a swift left jab and a right straight trying to set the pace of the fight with a one two combination.

"You've certainly improved..." Yu-Shin said throwing his punching combination.
