Adder's Bite: Lin drives her palm into the nose of her opponent. The force from the blow is meant to momentarily stun her foe.

Jump Spinning Crescent Kick: Lin slightly squats down before jumping and spinning in place. She swings one of her legs out, executing a kick that forms an arch. She typically aims for the head when using this technique.

Finishers
Dragon Swipes: Lin repeatedly smacks her foe in the face with blows from her open palms, then finishes the assault with a chop to the neck to render him/her unconscious.

GB20 Strike: Lin deals a light blow to one of two specific points on the back of her opponent's head. If it connects, her opponent will most likely be knocked unconscious. The secret to this is that the strike must go beyond the surface point to take effect; it isn't located on the surface. It is a technique that took her years to perfect because both spots are difficult to detect. Also, if Lin were to hit with too much power, she could cause irreparable damage. It is because of this that she only uses the technique as a last resort.

History: A Tibetan girl, Chiu-Lu Lin was a descendant of a forgotten clan known as "Bai Long" ("White Dragon"). Their rivals, the "Hong Lian," ("Red Lotus") held on to a grudge that lasted for more than 500 years. Only two members of the Bai Long Clan remained, and that was Lin and Her grandfather. Lin's grandfather, Gen, was a legend in the art of kung fu. During his years of solitude, he raised Lin, teaching her the Bai Long code of honor. She had much potential. Lin was not only eager to serve him, but to learn from him. He saw this as an opportunity to bring back the glory of the Bai Long Clan. Under his wing, Lin would learn kung fu styles in various forms. Gen believed that she would need this knowledge to combat the Hong Lian Clan.

However, there seemed to be a period of peace between the two clans during this time...until one day, as she was trekking the mountainside, a boy from the Hong Lian Clan challenged Lin to a fight. She did not want to, but fought for the glory of her clan. Little did she know that her opponent would not fight with honor. During the fight, Lin's right eye was jabbed out, causing permanent blindness in that eye. Despite her skills, Lin was unable to defeat this boy, who was much stronger than she. After losing, she returned to her home, blood pouring from the socket. Gen tended to her wound, and her eye needed to be removed. After being treated, Lin told him what had occurred, and her grandfather realized that if that boy was in the area, so was the Hong Lian Clan. They were most likely planning an attack.

Sure enough, they came. It was a snowy evening when the Hong Lian Clan declared war against the Bai Long Clan. The secluded mountainside saw blood shed for the first time. As soon as they had arrived, Gen ordered Lin to hide; she did so. Gen valiantly engaged three members of Hong Lian, but was overwhelmed when they unsheathed their weapons. Lin couldn't stand to see her grandfather die at the hands of her ancestors' enemies. She stealthily darted to the fireplace and broke open a glass display case that contained her family's prized [url=http://www.tao-distribution.com/contents/media/dadao-02.jpg:13q0vc9o]guan dao[/url:13q0vc9o]. Lin had no experience with the guan dao, but she charged at all three of her grandfather's assailants and hacked through them. They were taken off guard, and she slew all of them. One of the warriors happened to be the leader of the Hong Lian clan. Blood painted the snow-covered landscape and fed the blade, which hadn't seen a battle in more than two centuries.

It was too late for Gen. His chest had been impaled by a sword. Sitting by his side, it was clear to her that he was going to die. He told her to leave Tibet, and all of China. Lin reluctantly listened to this request. But it made sense---the Hong Lian Clan was thriving, and they would arrive to search for their leader and his comrades. Lin agreed to leave, but not before Gen gave one final request to his granddaughter: that she leave an imprint on the world to ensure that the Bai Long legacy would never die. He passed away shortly after.

With her guan dao in hand, Lin left on a boat to Japan for sensible reasons. The people there had codes of honor similar to the Chinese, and the laws there were not as restrictive. Lin felt she could relate to their ethics. Not long after she arrived in Japan, she learned of the AFW. It seemed like a perfect place for her to fulfill her grandfather's wish. Immediately after finding the complex, Lin signed up for admission. She chose to join the Friction league because it seemed to be the premiere league. She was told that she would be a better fit for the Kawaii League, but she insisted that she was competent. Lin wanted to be with the best, just like her grandfather was. The last member of Bai Long was also looking to serve someone who knew more than he did. Perhaps she would find a new master along the way...

Personality: Lin is a reserved individual, usually passive to those she happens to be around. One could say that she is not a Heel. While she lacks the attitude of a typical Heel, her mercilessness is what restricts her from being classified as a Tweener or a Face. No matter who her opponent is, Lin will always view him/her as a serious threat. Ever since she lost her eye, she has convinced herself to never "ease up."
