Megumi Mutoh Vs. Heather Sunderland

Megumi lay on the mat, shaking her head a little bit to clear it and stop the spinning. But she knew she couldn't stay down for long. Heather was already coming back for a big hit, and she had to get out of the way before it landed. Heather's use of high-flying attacks surprised Megumi quite a bit. Even though Chigusa fought in much the same way, and she fought Chigusa countless times, Megumi was always impressed by these moves. That being said, she also knew that Heather was using them quite indiscriminately, not even checking to make sure Megumi couldn't just get out of the way.

As Heather arced upwards, Megumi realized she couldn't get away in time though. She had to improvise. Megumi quickly brought her legs up, curling up into a ball and pointing her shins at Heather as she fell. She hugged herself close, knowing this hit was going to take a lot out of her. But hopefully it would take far more out of Heather!

Charging towards Megumi, Heather would feel the rush of adrenaline yet again as she leapt up into the air. Closing her eyes, she would soak it all in as she flipped in place, trying to connect with her shooting star press. In her mind she figured that Megumi wouldn't have any time to move out of the way, that she had her right where she wanted her and it was about time she would begin to start up some real offense. However, what she felt when she came crashing down on the girl was certainly something other than she expected.

Colliding with Megumi's shins, she would feel a sharp pain in her stomach, causing her to quickly roll off the girl and curl up on her side, rubbing the area where she hit. "Guagh...damnit..not fair..you weren't supposed to do that" Heather would say, shaking her head as she groaned out, trying to numb the pain in her stomach with her rubbing.

Heather's falling body hit Megumi's shins hard, the idol wincing both in sympathy and in pain as well from having her legs crushed against her body and her wind taken out. At the very least she could see Heather was in far worse shape than she was. After Heather rolled off and lay on the mat, Megumi rolled to the side as well, taking deep breaths as she tried to get her wind back and recover.

"Hah... you're the idiot who keeps on trying those moves..." Megumi gasped, "Next time... make sure I'm staying down!" She pushed herself up onto her feet slowly, making sure her legs could support her weight before getting up fully off the mat. She settled into a fighting stance, content to let Heather get back up as well, taking the time to get her bearings and recover properly.

"Hah..you don't have to tell me..I'll make sure you stay down for good next time." Heather would let out, clenching her stomach as she got to her feet slowly as well. She would use the ropes for assistance, making it finally to her feet as she looked over at Megumi who was standing opposite to her. It seemed they were back where they were, but Heather could feel the pounding pain in her gut from the collision, making it clear to her that she can't take as many risks anymore as she usually would.

Taking a couple breaths just to recover herself, Heather would bring her arms up and narrow her eyes at Megumi. "We'll see who the idiot is when you find out exactly why I do those moves." Heather would let out before taking a couple steps towards the girl. She wanted to be careful in approaching her, feeling as if she wasn't really in position to restart with a lockup.

She would move in towards Megumi, lunging towards her before she would try to go in low, attempting to ram her thigh and knee into the girl's gut.

"You're making it sound like I should be afraid," Megumi retorted, "When all you've done is hurt yourself." She lowered her center of gravity, bending her knees a little as Heather got up and charged at her. Megumi didn't try to dodge it; she wanted to show Heather how strong she actually was, and being able to take everything the girl threw at her and dish back more damage was the best way.

Megumi braced herself. She quickly lowered an arm to block the worst of the blow while leaning forward do Heather's leg lost most of it's power before hitting her. It was still enough to make Megumi gasp out a little. Megumi took a step back, quickly raising her arms again. "Not good enough!" she roared as she threw a stiff-armed chop right across Heather's chest.

"Kh...shut your mouth! You're just lucky I haven't connected directly yet.." Heather would respond to Megumi's words as she got to her feet. With the small standoff that they would be having, Heather would break that with her charge towards Megumi.

Admittedly, she was surprised that the girl didnt move out of the way of her knee, however with the bending over and blocking with her arms, she seemed to be able to lessen the blow. "Kh..what!? You-Gagh!" Heather would begin to say back to her until she was cut off by the hard chop at her chest. She would take a couple steps back, rubbing the area where the chop connected before she would grit her teeth.

A frustrated expression on her face would switch to a angered one as she stepped forward again. As she did, she would quickly bring up her leg, trying to return the favor of her stinging chest by attemptjng to smash her shin into Megumi's chest

"Maybe I'll keep getting lucky," Megumi retorted, content to needle Heather a little bit considering how the girl wasn't doing very well at all. When Heather counterattacked, sending a close range high kick at Megumi's chest, the idol had no room to dodge at all. "Guh!" Megumi gasped, the blow hitting her just above her breasts and making her stagger back. Heather had a good fighting style, Megumi thought, and the girl was plenty tough. She had to hit harder than that to make Megumi go down though.

Megumi quickly returned the favor. She stepped in quickly, raising a leg and attempting to send a boot right into Heather's gut. She was prepared for Heather's defense though, fully expecting the girl to either block or catch her foot. Either way, Megumi was setting herself up for another hit immediatly after, hoping to use Heather's body as a foothold so she could jump up and send an enzuigiri kick with her other foot at Heather's head!

"Hah! Doesn't look like it does it??" Heather would let out as she connected with the kick to Megumi's chest. She was expecting her to go down, but would click her tongue in frustration when she saw the girl just stumble back. She would grit her teeth a bit, letting out a little growl of frustration under her breath as she would take another step in towards the girl.

Suddenly though, she would see Megumi throw her foot up, seemingly going for the boot to her gut. Grinning, Heather would catch the girl's foot, thinking that she had stopped her offense short. "Are you kidding me? That was way too slow against-Wha!?" Heather would let out, though she would be caught off guard and interrupted when Megumi jumped up, hitting her in the back of her head with the enziguri.

Letting out a grunt of pain, Heather would fall to her front, landing on the mat and rubbing the back of her head from the pain of an all too familiar move.

Megumi rolled over and quickly got up, looking back at Heather to see how she was doing. The move worked like a charm, sending her crashing down onto the mat and probably stunning her for a little bit. This gave time for Megumi to really put the hurt down on Heather; she wasn't happy with how haughty the girl still was, and she realized that perhaps the best way to get some respect from her was to simply beat her.

So Megumi went over to Heather's back and grabbed both her arms to pull her up. "I'd say I'm getting pretty lucky," Megumi said as she locked Heather's arms behind her back by hooking them and placing her palm flat against her upper back between her shoulders, "Or maybe you're just really unlucky Heather-san."

Megumi would then lift upwards and fall back, attempting to hit Heather with a Tiger suplex, bridging at the end for the pin!

Still dazed from the enziguri, Heather would remain on her front on the canvas, rubbing the back of her head. She would click her tongue, groaning to herself as she couldn't believe she got caught with such a simple trick. It was true though that the girl was certainly better than Heather would have given her at first with her pre conceived opinion of the idol girls.

She would let out a grunt as the girl scooped her up by her arms, pulling her to her feet. She would simply grit her teeth at the girl's words, shaking her head a bit as Megumi placed her in position for the suplex. "Just..you just wait." Heather would let out before she would be lifted off her feet.

Her eyes would widen as she was put in the motion of the tiger suplex, landing hard on her upper back, causing her to close her eyes tight, clenching her teeth. She would just barely notice the bridge pin, kicking out finally as the ref-girl hit her hand down for the second count, getting Megumi a near fall as Heather would try to roll to the side and break out of the bridge.
