My idea wasn't to let someone play one of my per-existing characters... But rather for me to come up with an opponent (Or at least the basic concept for the opponent) that I want one or two of my characters to face and then give someone else permanent control.

Having someone control one of my existing characters is something I'd frown upon really.. I could never hope to play someone else's per-existing character just right and I wouldn't expect someone else to do so for mine.

The character I have doesn't have a bio even. She's essentially an NPC as it stands. That's why she's available. someone who wanted her would have some control over some of her design like history, wrestling style, etc. only thing that's really set in stone for her is looks and personality to a degree.

how can someone play something non-playable? and how a NPC works here?

My character Pip is an NPC because she doesn't have a bio and she is only used when the character she's attached to, Addyson Queensbury is also used. I don't really do things with Pip by herself.

she doesn't even have a name other than just "Pip" o.O

Or a history or anything really other than she's Addyson's little suck up assistant.

Just pitching out my two cents:
I wouldn't mind using a suggested character, as long as I feel comfortable that I could effectively RP it in the desired fashion. If I don't feel I could pull it off but the issue still wants to be pressed, then I'd probably just go with it anyways and ask for as much guidance as would be required to work through it. Second option has a high probability of leading to becoming bored of the character and shelving it after whatever pre-planned events it goes through.

Also, it depends on the degree of 'concept' we're talking about since it seems to vary here and there. It better not be a completed, detailed, and brand-spankin' new character bio dropped on me with [size=120:30web23m]OBEY stamped all over it. That doesn't really scream 'concept' at that point.

However, I would be willing to wrap up a nearly completed character that's missing just a couple of things. Again, if I felt that I could actually pull off playing the suggested character. On the other hand, if the concept is vague [size=75:30web23m]("Can you make... a blue-haired heel?"), then I'd probably ask for quite a few more details so I get a better idea of the concept being sought after. I wouldn't want to find myself making a character on behalf of someone else's storyline and miss the mark completely.

I would, under certain circumstances.

It'd have to be both a person I like and a suggested character idea or concept that I liked.
