Serena Light vs Claire O'Doherty

"Got'cha!" Serena would suddenly reply as she countered with a burst of energy, hoping to take Claire by surprise. Claire had been playing safe, but she was overconfident, she had made her moves too predicatable. She knew that she was going to try a feint to get her to lower her guard for a quick and easy win, but was not going to happen.

As Claire threw a crisp right, Serena, would quickly lean to the side and counter with a hard left towards Claire's kidney's before following it up with a crisp cross right to her cheek.

Serena was tired, but she was far from giving up. The words give up held no meaning to her, and she was going to follow through to the end.

Clare had dedicated herself to the strategy, but she already had a bad feeling as she threw the actual punch. She was met with a rough resistance, the hard left hand was like a wrecking ball, to her sweat soaked body. The bruising she'd undergone, wasn't going to get any better if she didn't cover up better. As that thought entered her mind, her cheek was peppered with a right cross, ironically enough. Clare was quick to back up, not wanting to fall victim to an onslaught. Here's where she utilized her reach, she decided to snipe Serena with a couple of probing jabs, keeping her distance.

Serena aftter scoring with the right cross, was immediately greeted with a few jabs to her face. She let out a painful wince as she backed away quickly covering her face with her gloves. She had gotten complacent and that had nearly cost her. She wasn't like Clare that she could take more damage, immediately she quickly rereated. She wasn't about to let Clare get her yet so easily. No she needed to wait for her chance, in order to win. Serena was getting weaker, even a few jabs was enough to almost take her down, had that been a powerful punch it might actually had taken her down.

Clare was still getting enough air. She was awake, just a bit sore. Serena might have been a bit better than her, which made this whole fight exciting. Clare was so eager to see it through. Serena could take a big beating, that much was apparent. Clare didn't have a glass jaw herself, but her smaller opponent was deceivingly tough, Clare realized Serena was retreating gain, Clare was smiling a bit, though her eyes were still fiery, determined. She was enjoying this fight, both giving as good as they got.

Clare used her footwork to her advantage, she waited until Serena would be lined up with a corner. The only way she'd go down is if she was bombarded with hard punches. That would be the goal. Back her in the corner and punch. Clare knew not to get careless, but she loved fighting Serena. If her opponent was cornered by backing away from her still, Clare would try cutting off her angles to escape. If Serena was conered, Clare would go for a hard left cross to hit Serena, targeting the nose again.

Serena was getting more and more exahusted. She felt that she was the better boxer, but Clare was the smarter and tricker one. She had constantly tricked her into dropping her guard several times and all.

Now that she was exhausted however, it seemed that Clare relied more on her footwork now that she had little need for strategy. She backed away from her, only to stop when her back suddenly touched the ropes. She turned around and immediately she cursed. Her back was against the ropes.

Immediately when she turned around, she suddenly saw a hard left coming towards her face. Serena in a fit of panic quickly threw a hard left of her own as well towards Clare's face.

"Guah!!" Serena cried out as Clares fist smashed into her nose, breaking it. Her head snapped back for a moment before it righted itself. Only difference was now that she now had a bloody nose.

Clare figured it was only a matter of time until Serena dropped, she was on the defensive, and that was exactly what Clare wanted. She moved in with her left, not noticing the reply that was thrown immediately in response. Clare felt her's land with a satisfying crunch that probably meant she broke something. The pleasant shockwave was short lived this time, as Clare was jolted aside, She was tiring out, that much was obvious, as the punch launched a good deal of sweat off her skin. Panting, she decided to back off, she needed to catch her breath and shake off the punch, even if it meant giving her now bloodied opponent a rest too.

Serena was dazed, the punch had offset her rythm and really it affected her ability to fight even further. The impact easily broke her stance, causing her to drop her guard entirely, thankfully Claire was dumb enough to back away. Had she attacked again, she would have put her down on the canvas for good.
Still she couldn't celebrate her luck as after a few seconds she quickly got back into her boxing stance once more, ready to fight to the end.

She strafted forth throwing a few light jabs, she couldn't risk missing her final attack. There was no choice she couldn't take a risk at the moment. If her attack missed, she was going to lose instantly.
