Adrian Kytes was in a good mood.

The PPV had been a great sucsess: capturing the contract for the AFW Entropy title match whenever she wanted and everything else had gone off with a hitch. By the summer, all three Avengers who fought at the PPV would be champions, but for now it was time to take it down a notch. No stakes, no gimmicks, no Rebecca too. Just her, her opponent and a butt-load of cheating to her next victory. If only she knew who her opponent was.

"Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first: the ICW/ICWA Tri-State champion and self proclaimed smartest woman in Friction. The Occassionally Hardcare Anime: ADRIAN KYTES!" The announcer boomed as the cheating cosplayer stepped through the curtain to a chorus of boos and[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnmY2XzB_20:1wtay1qu]her own theme[/url:1wtay1qu]. Her own personal title belt in hand.



Although she was slightly annoyed that the announcer declared her to be the "Self proclaimed" smartest woman, but she wasn't gonna let that slip get to her, stepping into the ring she waited patiently in the corner

While her opponent was getting the attention of the crowd, Cerbera entered the backstage, barely in time like always but it seemed like it didn't matter all that much to her. She was tieing the knot of her coat, checking to see if she was ready.



She discarded her gloves though, seeing as she did not need them. She threw them to a nearby corner as if it was her room and waited untill they were ready to introduce her, though she didn't really need something like that. She decided to do it herself, making her way to the media room and pushing a few buttons and such, despite the staff members telling her not to push too many buttons though she managed to do it perfectly, causing her to get her entrance exactly the way she wanted.

The fog rose around the entrance to the ring, lights dimming around the ramp and the ring. With the fog and the lack of lights, nobody but the crowd at the sides of the ramp could barely see if someone would walk down to the ring. However, the lights suddenly sprung back on and the fog dissapeared. Cerbera was suddenly seated upon the turnbuckle that was opposite from Adrian, casually staring at the girl to see if she would pose much a threat but for now, without ac tion, she could not exactly tell.

Adrian squinted a bit as the lights went down and the fog went up, trying to see who exactly she was going to face tonight. The cosplayer's eyes had been well trained through playing videogames at various levels of lighting and trying to sneak in midnight cookies so she could see a small shadow moving around, following it with her gaze.

When the lights came back on and Adrian could see clearly along with everyone else she was surprised to say the least. "Uh... kinda was expecting someone taller." She admitted, looking to the referee. Her opponent was around 5 feet tall at the max and probably much lighter than her. She didn't even really know who she was, looking for the referee. She didn't have to fight the midget, did she?

Okay she was taller now but that's because she was sitting on the top rope. It totally didn't count. When they were both standing there'd be a noticeable height difference. "Uh... aren't you supposed to be in the you know, small girl's division? The Kawaii league?" she asked, trying not to sound condescending. Yes she did want a softball, but she'd feel bad for beating someone this small up.

It seemed there was a certain amount of confusion. Perhaps it was because this was a strange kind of match making then the usual one. Cerbera would have originally gone against kawaii's only since there was a clear difference between kawaii and friction. However, skill had no age and apparently they found Cerbera that skillfull that she had to fight a frictionist. This wasn't the first time it happened, though. She won the first time against someone from friction, perhaps she could pull it off again.

Still, she was not going to underestimate anyone she hasn't fought yet, gripping the top ropes while her eyes remained upon Adrian, who was looking at the referee and was speaking to her before words were given to Cerbera. As usual, she did not answer. She was always the quiet yet deadly type to fight against, merely staring at Adrian with her bright blue eyes, her head tilted to the side almost cutely as she waited for the referee to give her a nod to get ready, which was given shortly thereafter, hopping off the turnbuckle and taking a few steps to the center of the ring, getting ready for the match.

Adrian still wasn't sure what to make of it, a name would be nice but no-one was doing the introductions it seems.

Oh well, if there was going to be a fight, better make it a show so the Kawaii would at least look good to the fans in Adrian's mind. It's not like her reputation could sink any lower than it had done already, so sizing up Cerbera: she placed her hand on top of her head and held her an arm's length away. Keeping her arm still so she'd be out of reach. Probably wouldn't last long but at least it would get some reaction from the crowd which continued to fund her pizza binges.

Cerbera was a little confused when that had came upon her head and it seemed that she was being greatly understimated. She could hear her hardcore fans telling her to deal with her in her own way. Thinking about it for a few seconds, since it was quite a dangerous style to begin with but since it was against someone who was much bigger build then her, she figured it wouldn't mind that much. She brought her head slightly back so that the girl would no longer press against it, then suddenly twisted her body to the side, engaging into a quick action like she used to, bringing her foot off the ground and suddenly shot it out during the twisting, aiming to send a harsh kick straight to the girl's chin. Even though she was smaller then her, her feet could still reach a tall opponent aslong as she used her speed and flexibility.

One moment the small girl was there, the next she wasn't. Adrian wasn't exactly sure how she'd escaped, not really concentrating on her opponent's movements that much (something she'd kick heself for, if Cerbera hadn't done it for her). All she knew was a sudden impact from her boot had knocked her senseless, staggering towards the ropes, falling through them and onto the arena floor. Taking a bit of time to shake off the cobwebs before standing back up and looking at the girl who'd nearly taken her head off with one kick.


"The fuck just happened?" She thought out loud, rubbing her jaw which still stung from the devastating blow. What was with this girl, first the entrance, then the cold composure and now the boot to the head? Adrian was starting to think that someone had really played a cruel joke on her in setting up this match.

That strike had done quite a number on her opponent already though it seemed her opponent was stronger then she would have thought. She needed more accurate strikes rather then powerful ones, because what would power be without a amount of accuracy to hit someone with? Her eyes narrowed as she kept a close watch on Adrian, knowing that if the girl might attack for real, she would have to be ready to dodge or even counter.

As time passed, Cerbera knew that she would have to attack again to not only get closer to her advantage, but also to make Adrian take this match seriously. She rushed towards Adrian again, closing the distance between them and spun her body around again, lifting her foot up and waited untill she had a clear vision of her target, bringing her foot forward and straight towards Adrian's stomach.

Adrian slowly made her way back into the ring, her head slowly stopping ringing as she gingerly looked over at the little menace. Size was apparently a very poor indicator of strength in this freak show of a company.

When the Kawaii zoomed in again, Adrian was ready... or at least a lot more prepared. Her movements were still very fast, almost too fast to follow but the cosplayer had a good idea of how much those kicks would hurt and her range. When that foot shot out, Adrian would be a good 3 feet away, nimbly hopping back. "Ha!" She declared, thinking that she had Cerbera scouted now. Now all she had to do was deal enough damage.

Which required her to get inside the horrible spinny rape radius that was Cerbera's kicks.

Cerbera quickly asserted herself to regain her composure, leaning down and crouching low and getting ready for another attack. It seemed that Adrian was happy that she managed to dodge her attack, which didn't really matter to her. She thought of another way to attack that wouldn't come out as flashy as the other ones.

She suddenly moved closer to Adrian, knowing what attack to use that might end up either bring them both down or only Cerbera. Still, it mattered very little to her. Once she closer the range, she leaped from her feet, using all her body weight as she tried to tackle Adrian straight down to the mat.
