international thoughts...
So as someone that has spent the last four years in the military and has gone overseas to Afghanistan, I'm curious to hear what some of you think has been accomplished overseas, especially since 2012 is rumored to be the beginning of the end for operation Enduring Freedom.

This is not going to end well...
I don't want to insult you, so I shall remain quiet.

Re: international thoughts...
Go ahead, call us murderers and baby killers or whatever you think we are. The military is something that cannot be fully understood unless you ate a part of it, so please, share your opinions, I'm fully aware that are people that don't like me because of my job, and further aware that there are people on this forum from other countries.
So, please, sling your hateful speech, the only thing that says you can't is yourself.

MrCross, I have nothing but respect for the members of any military organization around the world, people that are willing to go so far and do so much for what they believe in, but...I don't think that this is anything that people want to discuss.

The Conflicts in the Middle East have given The Westboro Baptist Church a new Hobby that involves picketing the funerals of dead soldiers.
Oh and we killed.... A few radical terrorist Ass-Clowns, A Statue of a Dictator, A few of our own people, Civilians, Heavily Armed Natives (Civilians), and one Bin Laden.
Oh and I think we got some oil too...

And a movie starring John Cena which should be considered 'crimes against humanity'.

Re: international thoughts...
Kitten, we probably won't won't agree on a lot, but yeah, that movie is terrible, it mostly serves as a source of amusement for us. I'm kind of curious to hear from Kelsey or kerflubble or some of other of the other international members of the forum, since we, the U.S. forces, aren't the only ones over there. Let's see, I worked with Brits, Aussies, Danish, Canadians, Germans, Georgians, Italians and even the French, and that was just in country. Back on my base, there are routinely Koreans, Brits, Japanese, Canadians and on rare occasion Russians doing Joint forces training.
