Questioning Sarah

The empty storehouse was completely dark save for a single lift that hanged from the ceiling and illuminated like a spotlight a small circle in the middle of the place. In this small circle of buzzing light there was a chair and in this chair was a girl tied up: Sarah Gatt. Out of the light there were a bunch of huge wooden boxes, piled one over the other. That served to make the storehouse feel even more hidden and closed. Leaning against one of these piles was Naoko, arms crossed in front of her chest looking sternly at Sarah. "Wake her..." Naoko said coldly.

A second figure appeared from the shadows, it was Stephanie, who had been responsible for carrying Sarah to this storehouse in the first place and tying her up both hands and feet to the chair where she was sitting on now. Stephanie closed to Sarah carrying a plastic bottle in her left hand, that she used to splash Sarah´s face with ice cold water... immediately following that with a furious back hand slap to Sarah´s cute face aiming to hit the corner of Sarah´s lips with her knuckles.

Sarah was pretty out of it for the whole trip from the ring to the warehouse, having been hit pretty hard when she was ambushed by these two gangster looking girls, both of which she was sure she had never seen before. Then again, a lot of people had reasons to go after Sarah Gatt, it was just nor many people had the balls to do it.

Strapped to a chair until she was all but immobile Sarah was still out cold, her head hung low, her red hair falling across her features. Then the water was splashed in her face, and Sarah started to come around. "Ugghhh..." Sarah groaned. The water made Sarah come around, but it was the backhand that brought Sarah back to her senses. "AAHHH!!" Sarah screamed, her head snapping to the side with the hir.

Wincing in pain, Sarah would come back to stare up at her captors, looking between them both, blinking away the remainder of her unconsciousness. When she tried to stand up, she found it to be impossible and soon discovered she was strapped to a chair. "YOu fucking assholes!!" Sarah screamed, thrashing against her binds to no avail, barking like a rapid dog. "Do you have any idea who you're fucking with?!"

Stephanie chuckled at Sarah's answer and Naoko stepped forward, so Stephanie took a step to the side to let her Japanese friend get closer and directly in front of Sarah. The Japanese gang-girl moved one hand to Sarah's face while bending over a little to get close to her face and then she gently brushed Sarah's red hair with her fingers to uncover the redhead's hair and look directly into her eyes.

"We do." she said coldly. "We know very well who you are, Sarah Gatt... The Queen of Brawl..." Naoko said with a glimpse of a smile. "We know where you live. We know who your friends are. We know whom you love..." Naoko made a small pause as her tiny smile grew and became more malicious. "We know whom you would miss... And we know you wouldn't be missed..."

Naoko stood up and took a few seconds to let her words sink in Sarah's head before continuing. "Now... A more important question, Sarah... Do you know who we are?"

Sarah growled when Naoko stepped up towards her, brushing her hair aside with her hand, not taking her threat seriously at all. She would attempt to bite the girl's hand as she did so, but even if she didn't she continued to struggle against the binds of her chair, thrashing side to side.

But when Naoko started running down the list of what she knew about Sarah, it gave the Queen of Brawl pause. She now looked Noako in the eyes, now realizing just what she was dealing with. Some dangerous people had taken an interest in her.

"Yeah?" Sarah growled. "Am I supossed to be impressed? I don;t know who you are or what the fuck you want. but if you don't let me out of here right fucking now, I'll feed you your own assholes!!!`

Naoko blinked surprised, pulling her hand away to avoid having it biten. Sarah didn't seemed scared at all, not even a little impressed. The Japanese girl had though The Queen of Brawl would be the typical bully and that once separated from her crew and put against the wall would be cowering in fear; but she didn't. She was either extremely brave or extremely stupid. Naoko couldn't help but feel a little respect for Sarah.

"You are quite mouthy for someone that is about to be doused in gasoline and set on fire." Naoko said coldly. "But lets stop with the childish threats and move on to business"

"We are the Shiro Shinde, it that doesn't means anything to you...well... We are part of a yakuza clan..." Naoko said, stretching the true a little bit, since they weren't fully recognized as part of the clan...yet. "There is a woman... A woman with one eye and a patch over the other... That we need to find. We have heard you had dealings with her. What can you tell us about her?" the expressionless Naoko asked.

Sarah narrowed her eyes at Naoko's threat. Anyone else might have been humbled by such a statement but not Sarah. She didn't become the worst street tough around for nothing. If anything it was people like Naoko made her the way she is.

"Yakuza?" Sarah repeated, tilting her head in confusion. "What's that? Some kind of prostitution ring? You gonna give red's pussy here a scrubbing and make me watch? Trying to inspire future customors? Well try that shit with someone else, fuck face!"

But when the girl before her suddenly brought up a person they were looking for, Sarah's smart alleck attitude briefly sombered up, because she did actually know of the person she was speaking of. Sarah turned her green eyed glare up at Naoko. "Why the fuck do you wanna know?"

Although her pale face didn't showed the slightless change, Naoko was getting really furious; Sarah's taunts were getting on her nerves. Stephanie, that knew Naoko better than anyone, could notice how the Japanese girl's fist clenched tightly inside the pockets of her trench-coat. Naoko as barely resisting the temptation to smack Sarah in the face.

But then Sarah's actitude seemed to change. "Ahh... I see that sounds familiar." Naoko said, crouching in front of Sarah to get a better look at the facial features of the prisoner and better read them.

"No Sarah" Naoko said flattly. "You don't get to make questions. Now... Tell me about this girl and you may get out of here walking..."

Sarah cursed herself for dropping her poker face for that moment. It was very clear who Naoko was talking about. Sarah had known a lot of people, both in and out of the AFW, but there was only one she knew who had an eyepatch. Seraphim Harmonia. Sarah had a dealing with her in the past, but other than that Sarah had no other interactions with her, not that Naoko and Stephanie knew that apparently.

Sarah had no real loyalty to Seraphim and the woman probably could say the same about her. But if there was one thing Sarah was not, it was a snitch. To the cops or otherwise. She glared up at Naoko. "Never heard of her," she said in a flat tone of voice. "And if I'm gonna be here one of you might as well give me a cigarette so I stay entertained. You wouldn't want me getting bored, would you?"

"No...of course not. We wouldn't want you to get bored." Naoko said with a creepy grin and then she turned to Stephanie, who blinked puzzled not sure if she understood what Naoko wanted, until the Japanese girl extended one hand as if wanting Steph to give her something.

The redhead yakuza searched her trench-coat and produced a pack of cigarrettes and a lighter, giving them to Naoko. The Japanese ganster then pulled one cigarrette half the way out of the box and moved it to Sarah's lips so she would bite it, and then made some fire with the lighter to light the cigarrette.

"Now...about the one-eyed girl...what you know?"

Sarah kept her eyes on Stephanie's hand when it slipped into her pocket, expecting the worse after what she said. She had been asking for it after all. But she was surprised when Naoko actually did respect her request for a cigarette. Narrowing her eyes suspiciously, Sarah opened her mouth and took the cigarette between her lips. She took a long puff, and then exhaled the excess smoke, trying not to lose the cigarette between her lips. Smoking without the use of her hands was more difficult than she thought.

"I told you," Sarah said, taking care not to lose the cigarette. "I don't know her. But here's something I do know." She then gestured for Naoko to come in closer so she could whisper something in her ear. If she did come close enough, Sarah would promptly spit the lit cigarette in her face, aiming for somewhere near her eyes.
