"All of it ain't ever gonna be always right..." The texan would reply, stand up right as he let Heather clutch onto him, feeling obligated to comfort the girl despite the way she acted towards him, but was happy to see that she had a much softer side to her.

"Yeah... Guess you're right about all that." The texan would agree with her with a light nod, resting his chin on the top of Heather's head as he began to think about their situation more, remembering that Heather had been the one who was forcing a big change in his life. It was still too early to tell, but the thought of him being a father made his stomach churn with nervously.

"I know... But I doubt you're sorry Heather. I doubt you have any regrets about yesterday and what you plan for the future..." Said Clyde with a blank look on his, appearing to be wandering off in intense thought. "Think I should go soon..."

Heather shakes her head still the hug as Clyde tells her how it all isn't ever going to always be right. She knows his words are the truth, but still wants to wish and hope for otherwise. If this all was just right and there wasn't any conflicts it would be so much easier on her and for her. The battle between figuring out what's right and wrong is the thing that is most tormenting her right now.

Keeping intently listening to him to find some way through in her troubles, she quietly rests in his arms as he rests his chin on her head. As he sits in thought of the events that lead up to this point, Heather's mind drifts into those times as well. If only she hadn't let her boredom get the best of her, if only their first meeting didn't take such a turn to what it did near the end, if only she had just walked away after that night. Or is it that way? Heather couldn't figure out herself if she wanted to take back all those things back then for what there is now. Sharing this embrace with Clyde, perhaps this sort of way is a good thing. Maybe she can just give up what she has going and stay in this comfort forever.

But as she heard Clyde last words, it was as if she felt him cutting through her conscience. She let go of him and stepped back a bit, getting out of the hug. He was probably right, maybe deep inside she wasn't sorry for the things that she did and how she forced it on him. But as she went on, she wanted to think she was sorry, the talk with Bonnie and the realization that hit when Dante called made her want to think she was just wrapped up in a frenzy. But hearing this that he doubted she really was sorry at all made her question herself. She was shocked to hear it from him and stared at him blinking a few times after he said it.

"Clyde I...ah...Yeah..I guess you should." She says as she leans her back into the counter, looking down as she does. His words drawing her back and twisting at her emotions a bit.

The blank look on the texan's face seems to fade as he felt Heather's embrace suddenly end, looking at the girl as she lets go of him and backs away while looking towards him with a very surprised stare. Clyde seemed to be surprised in the same way, not expecting his words to take a sudden affect on Heather like that, missing the feeling of her touch as she left him, but only for a moment, his bitterness toward the sudden changes in his life seemed to help him deal with Heather's ever changing mood, even though he was still worried for her, thinking he may have said something wrong.

Without a single word spoken, Clyde headed for the door and was ready to step out, but felt he couldnt leave Heather like that, feeling some regret in making her worse apperently, thats the way she looked in his eyes. Even more depressed.

Turning back to her with a small smirk on his face as he spoke in a rather nervous tone, as if he was hesitating to say what he wanted to say. "I...uhh....I'll be back tommrow night... I am yours, after all." He would tell her with a nervous look in his eye, scratching the side the side of his head with a hint of red on cheeks, a bit frustrated with his constant need to cheer Heather up despite wanting to tell her the cold truth about what was wrong about their relationship, but he thought that perhaps somethings were better left unsaid, considering the fact that no other woman had ever wanted him as much as Heather did. Although being with her was strange, he felt she was worth it.

Now without the embrace the two shared, Heather's arms felt as if they were longing for something. She felt a sense of ease over her as she was holding him and now that was gone, her conflict rising back up in a big way. As Clyde shot those words at her, she felt almost a sense of abandonment. She had the feeling people were pinning her as such a cold person, where she herself didn't want it to be that way. The person she felt she could maybe take comfort in, the one she was sharing an embrace with, had given her such words, striking her directly. She felt this same feeling when Bonnie had such a hard time believing that she could be taking care of Clyde.

She lifted her head up a bit and watched as Clyde walked towards the door. Biting her lip, she was feeling glad that he would be going to see Bonnie, helping her out, but she feels as if the words the two parted on couldn't have been any worse. She wants to shout out something to somehow correct the feelings, but deep inside she knew that part of her felt the exact way that Clyde had said.

As Clyde turns back to her, Heather brings her head completely up, staring back at him with an almost eager look. Hearing his words, she blinks a couple times before nodding. "R-right yeah...I'll be expecting you...s-so you better show." She says in response, a gleam of relief appearing in her expression as she does so. She forces a smile as she steps forward from leaning on the counter and crosses her arms just under her chest. "Oh and...don't get beaten up by my brother and Alessa too bad." She adds, trying to say it in a joking tone, but her conflicting sorrowful inner feelings come through in her speech a bit.

A small dissapointed frown would emit from Clyde as he stood in the doorway while looking over at Heather. He couldnt help but feel a bit concerned about her well-being as he watched her stand against the counter, looking so tormented inside. Clyde knew he wasn't any good with trying to cheer other people up, but he felt he had to try for Heather's sake, despite having a small bit of doubt as to whether or not he could do anything.

He is surprised however, to hear her speak in a somewhat more up-lifting tone, seeing the look on her face as he turned to her, Clyde felt he had done some good for Heather. "Oh Yes Ma'am! Don't you worry!" The texan would reply to Heather with a gleeful grin upon his face, happy to see her old self returning even though she still seemed a bit bothered inside. Prompting the texan to simply comply with Heather's words, hoping his fake obedience would make her feel a bit better, even though he was only half pretending.

"...Ain't nothin' Clyde Gastin can't handle, missy." Clyde would respond to Heather's final words with a confident smirk on his face, before he noticed the way Heather had sounded as she spoke. She didnt sound happy at all, Clyde couldnt put his finger what was troubling her now, nor would he try to figure it out either. He had to leave, but he hoped that Heather could return to her old self when he did see her again.

"Ain't nothin' to worry about, girl. Everything should go just fine." Said Clyde with a look of reassurace before he shut the door and made his way back to Bonnie's dorm, trying to push the events of the past few days out of his mind as he walked through the apartment halls. Alone and uncertain about his future.

Hearing his words, a small smile comes over Heather's face. Even though he said those other words before that drove her into an even more depressed state, the words he was saying now were bringing her spirits back up a little bit. Her confidence in all this came back just a bit for just a second as he would give her a gleeful grin and a confident smirk. Before now, those faces were the origin of all her problems, but at the moment they seemed to be helping her cope with them quite a bit.

As Clyde shuts the door, heading off to his sister's dorm, Heather stands in silence for a few minutes. She lets out a small laugh to herself, putting the thought in her head equal to that of what Clyde had said. "Everything should go just fine." She repeats as she forces the laugh. It gradually slows and fades away though as Heather begins to slump down to a sitting position with her back against the counter.

A tear runs down her cheek as her breathing turns to small gasps as she prevents herself from crying aloud. She hoped in her head that everything would go just fine, that there would be no problems. She even hoped deep inside that once this whole thing unfolds, maybe they would be able to actually live happily without worrying about this whole thing. The boy she hated was slowly turning into the man that she wanted to be with forever. If you would ask her how something like that could happen, she probably wouldn't be able to tell you herself. What was a plan to prevent him from causing any more trouble has turned into a hope for him to be with her always.

But that's something that probably won't happen. Heather feels what she's done can't be undone and brought into a light situation. This is why Heather feels she needs to keep up her "ownership" of Clyde. She feels it's her one grasp on herself that she can keep. Even that though seems to be slipping as she is getting less and less able to contain and control it.
