Belated Apologies

Sun Mar 26, 2017 9:58 am by Clobber Jobber

So, I'm not super fond of doing non-match threads because it messes with my organization, but I feel I owe everyone an apology. I just kind of up and dissapeared for, what, a few months? With the exception of one wave of posts, I've been super quiet, and a lot of threads have been held back because of me. So, I'm sorry to everyone about that, and I'm going to at least get another wave in.

To explain myself a bit, I've had a few things going on that slowed me down. For the first couple months, …

I'm starting my new job soon, so I'll be more free

Tue Mar 28, 2017 9:24 pm by TheWamts

Yes, I know that sounds fucking stupid, but with only one thing to focus on instead of 5 subjects and 5 groups, I should have more time to spend on the site, and so I'm open for new matches, send me a pm or I'm me on Trillian (same name thewamts if you don't have me already) if interested.

Lucy's Debut

Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:11 pm by kagestar

Well what can i say really?

After the warm reception here i am looking for my first Character Lucy Kage to have her debut.

This doesn't have to be in the form of a debut match, though i am not going to say no to that of course, but it could even be that she appears at the end of another match etc. I want Lucy to arrive, not with a bang per se, but with more of a determined swagger.

I want her entrance to pretty much be believable, sellable but also meaningful. It sounds snobbish, especially …

How far? o.o isn't that a different question? it depends on the person I guess...and what type of Klondike....I mean if you have one of the ones covered with pretzel bits and with a layer of caramel...suddenly some people may seem a bit more tolerable O.O I mean...umm....hey look panda bears!

The only sport I like is the one where Kimbo (and his career, and Elitewhatever) got knocked out by a terrified wrist-first slap from an almost-nobody. <img src=" title="Razz" />

I basically only follow fight sports or things related. I'm a bit odd that way. There are much stronger emotions with two guys fighting their guts out than two guys playing tennis-ing their guts out. <img src=" title="Smile" />

[quote="Bluemouse":341pt4mf].......okay I lied. There never were any cookies.

...I find your lack of cookies... disturbing.

I shall wait instead for the popcorn on the other thread... And the popcorn better not be a lie!

[quote="Bluemouse":341pt4mf]Anyway, I just figured I'd post here to see if I can find anyone like me. Obviously I don't know anyone here, and I didn't want to have to just post on the match making board and hope I get someone remotely close to my style. Here I'd sit on the far end of the Friction roster, I love pro style with a bit of cyberfighting-specific elements to it, sometimes angling towards something more fight-y and no-holds-barred-ish. I aim to develop some chemistry and write a good match without too much extraneous stuff thrown in (ie imaginary crowds and all that). I'll go so far as to use a ring, but anything beyond that I generally try to get actual people involved for a crowd.

If you mean less hentai and more hardcore matches minus a crowd, I'm sure there are loads of people with that interest. My tastes are quite diverse so I would like them matches as well as a number of other match types ^_^

Yeah, I've looked through your characters (right around the same time I decided to rip off your sig <img src=" title="Razz" /> ) and thought that we might match up well. I'm not so much all about hardcore as I am prostyle angling towards what you might call hardcore... And my beef about the crowd is that I don't want to have to write what other imaginary people do, I want to write what I do and have other people react to it. Why? Because I need the validation! That's right, I'm that emotionally deprived.

I understand that the message board format changes a few things, but I'm trying to get a feel for it. Kelsea, I'll trust you to yell at me if I run afoul of AFW procedure.

Oh, and yeah, that popcorn, about that... I'll be right back. With the popcorn... *backs slowly towards the door*
