Merith vs. Layla (Complete)

Merith had been standing in the ring a small bit. She was facing another mystery opponent but it seemed no one was going to come out. Merith flexed her arms for the fans, chuckling, "Whoever it is, they're scared to death." she mused. She watched the stage, curious who it could be. As of late Merith had been on a rather unflattering losing streak against some of AFW's smallest competitors, so the Amazon hoped it would be another small opponent. She wanted to redeem herself, crush a little girl harder than any girl had been crushed before. "Come on!" Merith shouted to the back, ravenous to know who her foe would be.

Merith's challenge would soon be answered, and the stage lights would burst with green light. Layla McKarthy, the AFW's smallest wrestler, emerged from the bakstage area, her arms crossed and her face twisted into her signature scowl. Without any finesse she made her way down the ramp amongst the cheering fans until she made it to the ring. Once there she limbed inside, albeit with difficulty on account of her small stature.

Once in the ring she could get a good look at her opponant. Her very large opponant. Upon seeing her, Layla couldn't help but swallow hard. She had taken on bigger girls in the past, but never quite this big. And she looked strong too.

Trying not to let her uneasiness show, Layla waited in the corner for the bell to ring.

"Hah!" Merith laughed as the teeny Layla climbed into the ring, "They just keep getting smaller and smaller." She was happy she got a tiny girl as she had planned to destroy her as a blow to all the small statured girls in AFW. The bell rang and Merith approached her irish adversary, dwarfing her by just about two feet. The giantess wasn't going to get too cocky too early though, she remembered how underestimating her foes could cost her dearly and so kept quiet. Instead she tried to grab for Layla by her hair to open up with a tight headlock. If she succeeded in grabbing her, Merith would lean to bend Layla over and flex her arm to apply tremendous pressure

Layla scowled at Merith's omments. Already her nervousness was starting to give way to anger. Now she just wanted to take this woman down like all the others. As Merith approached her, Layla could see she was even bigger up close. She stood her ground though, sowling up at the red haired woman. When Merith tried to reach for her hair, Layla instantly reacted. Her hands whipped out to grab at Merith's arm, and if she managed that she would shift her weight, swivel round, and try to flip the giant woman right over her shoulder.

Being that Layla was so small, it also meant she'd be incredibly quick. Merith launched her arms out to grab her foe but was quickly countered and her forward momentum only served to help the smaller girl flip Merith hard onto her back. "Uhnnn!" Merith grunted as her weight crashed down to the mat, Layla's counter getting a large cheer from the fans

It had taken some effort, but Layla had managed to throw her much larger foe, surprising the audience, and even herself. Now she knew she could beat Merith. She was just another opponant with more brawn than brains.

After flipping the woman onto her back, Layla kept held of Merith's arm afterward. She would then raise her foot, and stomp it down hard into Merith's stomach.

The shock had aided to stun Merith briefly after her hefty body crashed down to the mat. She groaned softly, feeling her arm was still held in Layla's hands. The amazon was open for the next shot and as Layla's foot crashed into the redhead's abs, she cried out in pain, jolting, her other arm moving to hold her stomach.

Layla allowed herself a small smirk as she watched Merith writhe at her feet. It always gave her satisfaction to make these bigger girls squirm. And she still had a long way to go with Merith.

Layla would kick Merith in the side to roll her onto her stomach, still holding onto her arm. After that, she'd raise her foot a second time, and stomp it down on the back of Merith's head.

"Uhnn!!" Merith grunted again when Layla kicked the downed Amazon's side, forcing her to her stomach. Merith grit her teeth and growled, pissed that Layla was getting so many shots on her from one counter. This time a stomp smashed into the back of her head, driving Merith's face cheek-first into the mat, "Uggh!!". The fans gave a cheer with each kick Layla landed but Merith was coming out of her stunned state, albiet still pained from the three shots. She would try to attack back by getting to all fours minus her one held arm and would try to throw herself into a charge from that position. If she managed to ram herself into Layla, she would continue running with the irish girl hoisted up onto her shoulder before jumping and driving her down to the mat in a running spinebuster.

Layla's eyes widened when Merith started to get up. The amazon could take quite a bit of punishment it would seem, shrugging off that last hit easily. She couldn't let the woman get up, or who knows what she might pull off. And so while Merith was still on her hands and knees, Layla would rear her leg back and deliver a brutal kick directly into her face. She'd then swiftly follow up by raising that same leg high, and bring it down in a strong axe kick to her spine. She'd keep her foot planted there afterwards.
