Celeste Savage Friction matches mainly see Carpathian Impaler link for her profile
Chesslara and Ginely Rilynth friction matches singles or tags

Hi all. Deus here.

You may have noticed I am a bit quiet on the forums these days. My parents split up, I split up with my girlfriend and moved house. I am moving house again in February as well. 2017 was one slow motion punch to the dick for me and my balls are still numb to be honest.

Oh, and just so you all know. SNK always had a large fanbase, it's just that a majority of it are pirates who steal revenue. Ask yourselves why every KOF game from 94 to even 2003 always looked the same.

Only nobody ever rocked Sengoku at the arcades I rolled.

Really though, apart from the tremendous effort it took to find the romsets that matched your specific emulator version, piracy of these games made so much sense it wasn't even funny. Metal Slugs beyond 1 became damn quarter munchers and at $1 per credit you'd be better off pirating until the compilations FINALLY rolled out, ESPECIALLY if you wanted working controls, the ability to hear the music in the games, and a comfortable chair.

Always thought SNK games were the greasier of the arcade repertoire, though. Apart from Metal Slug, there wasn't a lot I thought they did well.

And the reason why KoF games looked the same was because they COULD milk that horse over and over and over again. Same reason Capcom hasn't touched Morrigan's sprite in years. The fighting and the rehashing go hand in hand. One reason I don't touch that genre with a ten foot pole.

Capcom finally did dump that Morrigan sprite, y'know. TvC has a totally new Morrigan (As annoyed as I am the game used 3D models, I suppose this is the one good side to it :D).

Remeber, the last Vampire game to come out was during the Saturn years, and since then, the series hasn't seen a hardware update yet. So to save money, Capcom is going to import CPS2 information and emulate them on Naomis and other boards.
What not much people know is that Capcom DID touch up on Morrigan's sprite....as far as upping the resolution count. But that only made her look uglier. Especially if you're putting an old sprite up there with newly polished visuals. <img src=" title="Laughing" />

In my opinion, Capcom had the means to redo Morrigan, but why....I'm going to go with lazyness. <img src=" title="Laughing" />
Or maybe the budget couldnt squeeze in an extra few weeks to redo her.

As for KOF, they rehashed and milked the same graphics from 94 to 2003 because they weren't making any hardware money from HOW LONG. They milk it because they HAD to.

I don't buy the had to reason because that implies they were forced to do it by market pressures, which requires that you not only assume considerable talent on SNK's part to have done yearly upgrades, but also the fact that they knew what the market pressures were on them (Most video game companies are complete idiots with regard to numbers like that), and a desire to NOT yearly rehash turned into a reluctant reality by those numbers. It's too many assumptions to make.
