Songbird vs Rika Yamato

The roar of the crowd made Rika exhale, she wasn't nervous. She was calm, her knees didn't shake and her eyes were steady, calm and assertive. She wore her white Gi with her blackbelt wrapped around her waist. The Song Wake Me Up Inside by Evanesence played through the stereo. She still couldn't shake this feeling, it made her tighten her belt around her waist before entering the ring. The crowd cheered her as she made it inside. She began to stretch her arms and legs. She then put her hands at her hips and exhaled. She smiled, this feeling she couldn't shake was the excitement of her first wrestling match.

Suddenly, a loud sound like a big stomp filled the entire stadium and the crowd was scared the heck out of them. Suddenly, an explosion of black smoke came from 5 feet close to the ring. Once it was clear, Paramore's That's What You Get began to play and there stood a girl with pink and white hair. Her clothing consisted of a dark shining pink sleeveless zippered suit with the collars covering the bottom of her face, long black fingerless gloves, and black army boots. She looked at Rika with a pure determination on her face as she jumped and kept her balance on the top rope before front flipping into the ring.

Well she's definitly interesting, thought Rika somewhat impressed by her flip.
Rika produced a small smile and stared into her opponent's eyes. Cooly, she took a bow and introduced herself,

"My names Rika Yamato, I'm a jujitsu specialist. This is also my first match but, don't go easy on me... "

Her head still face down she whispered, "it could cost you your life"

Songbird did a little courtesy and said, "I'm very happy to meet you, Ms. Yamato. My name is Songbird. And don't worry, I won't." She took her fighting stance and the bell rung starting the fight.

Rika's small smile disapeared and her eyes turned cold as she looked at Songbird going into her stance. Rika stayed firm, she slowly shifted into a stance and waited for her opponent to attack first. She would slowly inch herself cloer to Songbird. Rika's alarm went off, as soon as she saw that stance, she was a striker type wrestler and a skilled one at that. Rika was weak when fighting against striker types especially if they were taller and had a longer armspan than she did.

Songbird immediately jumped forward and grabbed Rika's shoulders, while placing each foot in her stomach. Then, she rolled on her back and threw her backward.

Rika side stepped out of the way and caught Songbird's wrist with a vice grip and using songbird's momentum against her. She placed both hands on her wrist and side stepped once more. She then threw Songbird over her shoulder.

Still gripping her wrist, Rika would quickly wrap her legs around Songbird's arm and put her in an armbar hold.

"Not too shavy but grappling is my Forte" Rika said

Songbird giggled and said, "So it is, Rika." She then used her free hand to start twisting Rika's bare toes really hard.

"Eh?" Rika was quite suprised that she was laughing was this girl human? Rika winced in pain as Songbird twisted her toes.
Out of pure reflex, she shifted into another grappling hold. She would roll over and flip songbird on her stomach with the armbar still in place. Still refusing to let go of Songbird`s wrist. She would quickly out manoveur her and sit on her back and put`Songbird`s arm behind her back and put her in a hammerlock and with her free hand she would wrap her arm around her opponent`s neck in an attempt to choke her into submission.
``An Armbar didn`t work, how about a hammer lock combined with a chokehold!`` Rika said, putting more preasure into both Songbird`s neck and her arm.

Songbird still giggled and said, "My, do you have a strong temper." She then used her free arm to poke Rika in the eyes. Once that's done, she would stand up and wander around the ring, whistling a happy tune.
