Megumi Vs. Cornelia

It wasn't usual for Megumi to not have any idea who her opponent is. Normally, she would try to at least pull the official bios off of the AFW database, but she had no time to do that. Immediately upon arriving at the AFW complex, Megumi was quickly ushered into the locker rooms where she was told she had a match in 10 minutes. Megumi had no idea what it was about, especially since she didn't agree to having any matches today, but somehow it happened and she had to go along with it. She changed quickly into her wrestling attire, then rushing out as her music began.

"nO LimiT" played over the speakers as Megumi rushed out onto the ramp. The crowd, seeing the star of the show finally arrive, began a wave of cheers. Megumi waved to them as if nothing happened, even though she was rather confused and a little disoriented by the hectic events. She walked out to the ring, greeting several enthusiastic fans along the way, before finally climbing into the ring. She looked at the opposite ramp a little apprehensively, not quite sure whether or not she should be worried about who was about to come out.

There seemed to be an eerie silence as Megumi's entrance music stopped. For quite a bit, nothing seemed to be happening. All of a sudden, the ramp lit up a bright violet color as purple flames erupted all along the entrance ramp. As the flames died down, a lone, tall violet-haired woman stood at the head of the ramp with an indifferent look, aside from the small smirk on her lips. This was the Devil's Child...the Horned One...the new acquisition to AFW.....This was Cornelia of Japan.

One large purple boot stepped forth, followed by another as the tall violet-haired woman strode down the ramp and into the ring. She merely stood in her corner, eying up her competition with a cold stare. This was going to be a fun adventure for her. One life will be taken....One will not walk out of this ring ever again...she intended for it. Cornelia raised one hand in the air quickly as the pyrotechnics man once again released the violet curtain of flames,

Megumi's eyes widened when she saw the impressive pyrotechnic display, and saw her opponent step out. She appeared eerie when bathed in the light of the purple flames. Megumi still didn't know quite what to make of her opponent, who appeared quite fierce and strangely creepy. But she could be a very nice person underneath all that oddness. She waited with baited breath as Cornelia stepped into the ring.

Megumi strode forward, a hand tentatively outstretched. "Hello there," Megumi said, "I'm Megumi Mutoh, and you are?"

The violet-haired woman just stared at Megumi intensely as the girl made the mistake of being friendly towards her. "Cornelia...but it won't matter since you won't make it out of the ring knowing that." This was the most she had ever talked to an opponent before. She slapped the outstretched hand rather coldly as her stare intensified.

Megumi's gaze hardened when she heard Cornelia's words. "What's up with her?" Megumi thought. That stare Cornelia was giving Megumi was seriously creeping her out. Megumi pulled back her hand after it got slapped, her eyes narrowing. Without another word, she turned around and went back to her corner, waiting for the bell to sound.

Cornelia just smirked, noticing that something had struck the brown-haired girl's mind as wrong. The tall woman strode back to her corner, but only momentarily as the bell rang not but a few moments later. Still smirking, she would merely walk back out to the center of the ring again, awaiting her opponent.

Megumi walked out of her corner as well, her hands raised and poised to fight. She wondered how she should approach this opponent. Megumi decided to try and test out how strong Cornelia was with a powerful and rapid attack. She ran forward, slightly bent over, aiming to spear Cornelia in the gut.

Cornelia, happily holding her arms out, aimed to attempt to catch the charging Megumi before she could succeed with her spear. There is no doubt that the momentum would cause both girls to fall to the mat, but should Cornelia succeed in stopping the spear, she would try to invert the move to be a modified fall-back DDT.

Megum charged forward with all the force she could muster, slamming into the prepared Cornelia hard. But then, as she took Cornelia down, she felt the woman suddenly grab her around the head and slam her in a DDT as she fell. Megumi grunted in pain and surprise, flipping over on the mat and lying there, clutching her head in pain.

Cornelia smirked as she lay on her back, not wanting to move too soon, for she also received a bit of damage from the fall, but not nearly as much. As soon as the tall woman caught wind, she would roll so that she was on all fours and would move towards the idol like a lion stalking its prey. She would lunge her hands forward for that brown hair and aim to yank it back violently.
