Bar Room Blitz

Sarah scoffed at such a question. "People who think they can beat me," she answered easily enough. "And people who throw the first punch." She said that last part glaring at Raiye, seeing as it was her who started their fight. "Speaking of which, where did you learn to take a hit like that?" Earlier when she smashed the bottle over her head it hardly seemed to affect her at all.

For a moment, Raiye froze when Sarah asked her that question, thinking back at her past for just a second or two before she narrowed her eyes and mumbled out.

" Let's just say.. Life's tough. "

She'd twirl her fingers around the inner rim of the glass, looking at the emptied glass quietly.

Sarah chuckled lightly at Raiye's answer. "Life....is what you make it," she said, taking another sip of her drink. "Look at me. I was once a filthy degenerate who mugged people on the streets. Now I'm a filthy degenrate who works in an evil organization!" Sarah laughed out loud after her own little joke.

" An evil organization? Amusing.. Same here just today, even became one of the leaders for beating a traitor down.. "

She'd take out a new cigarette and glared at it, twirling it between her fingers as she continued.

" Aslong as the pay is good.. I'd like my own house to live in, for a change. "

Sarah blinked when Raiye mentioned she had also joined an evil organization. "Really....?" she muttered. Sarah tapped her fingers on the table as she thought. The girl looked like something out of an anime, she was kick ass at fighting, and she belonged to an evil organization. It could all be coincidence but....

"Quick question," Sarah said out of the blue. "Have you ever heard of a place called the AFW?"

" Yeah, heard alot of cash is being handed out there if you win a match, so I pretty much joined that. "

Raiye tapped her finger against hr chin while her was under her chin, as if in thought. Her other hand brought it'sself down upon the table and rolled the cigarette from side to side, waiting for Sarah's no doubt next question, since it seems that's all she was asking.

As soon as Raiye answered her with the answer she thought she'd give, Sarah's eye twitched involuntarily. Hoo boy, she sighed in her head. In all the things she had been going through lately she had completely forgotten about the Era of Hell, and her not so secret mission to rule it. And now Raiye was saying she was one of the leaders? It seemed like in her situation she hadn't been paying attention to the goings on in the organization, like the replacement of one of the leaders. "Uh, what was her name?" Sarah asked, trying to sound casual.

" Uuhh.. Reika, or something. "

She'd start to place the glass on it's side on the table and starting to roll it back and forth, then flipping it back onto it's original stance and placing the pack of cigarette's besides the glass, glaring up at Sarah for a moment before back at her cigarette's and the glass.

Oh, for gods sake, Sarah groaned in her head, almost slapping her forehead at the news. Part of her knew Raiye was talking about Reika before she even asked. Using the Era of Hell's spy network for her own devices she had discovered that Reika was in league with White Gale; Seraphim's so-called rival organization. She had intended to use this to blackmail her and gain her influence in the Era of Hell, but it seemed Raiye had come along and crushed that plan.

"Well, good for you," Sarah eventually said, still pretending to remain aloof. "I'm sure with your skills you'll make em' go far."

Raiye nodded and brought one hand up to start adjusting the large black ribbon her on the top of her head, tilting her head to the side as she looked at Sarah.

" I'm only there for the money, nothing more. "

She removed the cigarette from between her lips and gentle pushed it in the ash tray.

" How about you? "
