Tasha Jackson vs Great Kali - Fresh Air

Tasha's plan had worked perfectly, the Alabaman having managed to dodge Kali's angered attack, and countered with an attack of her own! And not just any attack, but one that sent the Indian woman's body slamming to the mat! It was the perfect counter, the perfect comeback so to say, and one that really had the potential to turn this match to her favor for good...

The Southern Twister looked down at her foe to observe the results of her scoop slam, and what she saw gave her a tricky question to answer. Should she go down for a submission hold, or exert her strength to throw Kali's formidable body once more around? The Southern girl was tempted to just go down and apply a scissorhold...but deep inside she wasn't counting on Kali to be pummeled enough just yet!

Deciding for the latter option, Tasha knelt down and began pull Kali's body back up. But only just enough for her to get the goddess bowing down in front of her... Before trying to tuck her head between her thighs, and lift her body up before trying to execute a Piledriver on her mighty, but already reeling Indian foe!

Great Kali was in pain from the scoop slam earlier, and she groaned in pain as she was then pulled up by her opponent, who proceeded to tuck her head between her thighs. At this point, the Indian goddess was barely aware of what was going on as Tasha went to lift her body up, holding her upside down before driving her head into the mat with a piledriver!

"AAAGHHHH!!!!"

The piledriver greatly rattled Great Kali, and she fell onto the mat in a heap. She was barely responsive at this point, with her eyes rolling into her head thanks to the great impact to her head. At this point, she was helpless before anything that Tasha would do to her next, and she would not be able to do anything about it.

Tasha was getting excited, but she tried her best to control herself. Her Indian opponent had been quite a formidable foe so far indeed, but the Southern girl herself felt like she was getting close to a victory! The Alabaman had already been tempted to go for a submission, but had still contained her excitement enough to still go for the Piledriver, hoping that it would be successful with rendering Kali unable to resist her actions any longer...

And by the looks of it, Tasha's call seemed to be a resounding success! The Piledriver was obviously impressing the crowds substantially, and as its result Kali's body seemed to be pretty toast... This was it. This could be the time to end it all. This was the time to go for her submission finisher!

According to how she had named it, applying Sweet Tea Dreams necessitated yet another trip to the sweet tea bottle by the corner, but this time the Southern Twister picked it up, and proceeded yet again towards Kali's body. And as she opened the bottle, this time she did not take a sip from it, but instead proceeded to pour its contents all over her Indian opponent's body! Throwing the empty bottle then out of the ring, Tasha kicked Kali once more to ensure that she was lying face down, before positioning herself next to Kali's body perfectly to catch it into a tight, and unrelentless Dragon Sleeper! "That's it! It's over!"

The piledriver had taken a huge chunk of Great Kali's strength, and now she was totally helpless before Tasha. Not even when the Alabaman poured her tea all over her body could rouse her up. Humiliated and weakened, the Indian goddess was then set up into a submission hold, which was a dragon sleeper.

Great Kali's eyes were unfocused as Tasha applied pressure into the hold. Her body was in great pain, and she knew that she could not afford taking more abuse from her opponent. Weakly, she would tap onto the arm of her opponent, signalling her submission and defeat, thus making Tasha the winner of the match.

"I... I submit..." she wheezed out weakly, admitting defeat to her opponent.

Tasha was excited and a little nervous as she decided to go for her finisher, but her confidence grew with each ounce of sweet tea that she got poured on Great Kali's body. If she couldn't react to that, it was probable that she was done... Well, almost. Only thing missing was the submission hold itself!

But not for long. The Southern Twister twisted the Indian Goddess'es body firmly and tightly into the Dragon sleeper, and she wasn't going to let go. Not until this match would be sealed to her favor!

And finally... It happened! Kali tapped onto her arm, almost too weakly to notice, but Tasha did notice it. She wasn't sure about the ref though, but even the official promptly understood the nature of the situation as the Indian woman meekly voiced out her submission! This was it... This was it! This was Tasha's first victory in AFW, and no one could take it away from her!

"Yass!!! I did it! I did it!" the Southern rookie quickly released Kali's body, jumping instantly up tp her two feet, raising her hands high up in the air and wildly cheering absolutely thrilled of joy like a little girl. She then promptly proceeded to jump up onto the ropes by every corner, blowing kisses to the crowds. Great Kali had been a formidable opponent, but not quite enough to withstand the Southern Twister. This was Tasha's night!

The ref did indeed see the submission from Great Kali, and soon, she was released from the hold before she fell onto the mat, gasping feebly. It seemed that she had been defeated by her opponent, and she let out a grunt of chagrin. As Tasha celebrated her hard-earned victory, the Indian goddess remained on the mat, still feeling exhausted from everything that she had taken.

Grunting, Great Kali would roll herself over onto her back, panting and gasping as she would then bring her arm over her eyes, covering them from the lights that came from the ceiling. Another loss, which she had to swallow despite how bitter it tasted. She had been losing quite a lot lately, which was the source of the Indian goddess' frustration.

Tasha's thrill and enjoyment was very obvious to everyone in the arena, but so was the disappointment and exhaustion of Great Kali too. And after her round of posing and showing off to the crowds, Tasha couldn't help but see it as well.

Now this was a tough question. The Indian woman had definitely been quite nasty in the match, but was that just a show? Was she just doing her job, and in the end just a competitor and fighter trying to perform as well as she could, just like herself?

Tasha was so happy for her victory, that she couldn't help showcasing her fair, competitive spirit to her opponent. Stepping beside Kali, the Southern rookie kicked the Indian woman's side very softly, trying to just prompt her to uncover her eyes for her to see Tasha's hand offered down towards her. "Hey, come on, I'll help ya up!"

Great Kali was still on the mat, covering her eyes with her arm when she felt someone kicking at her side very softly, prompting her to remove her arm from her eyes, and she saw Tasha who offered her hand to her. The Indian goddess blinked in confusion as she stared at the offered hand.

At first, she considered rejecting the offer, but then, she was feeling too tired to even keep up with her charade, so she decided to just drop it and take the offered hand. "F-fine..." she said in a rather normal tone. It no longer had any bombastic feel that she usually used whenever she took her goddess persona. At the moment, she had already stopped acting. She was too tired to keep it up at this point. "Thanks..."

She would let herself be pulled back up. She looked down to keep others from seeing her expression. While she might have stopped acting at this point, she still had a reputation to maintain, and she didn't want to give people some funny ideas while they were seeing her.

Tasha knew she was taking a risk with counting on Kali's competitive spirit, but it was a risk she was willing to take after her first victory in AFW! She knew well that one only got the chance to make a first impression once, and was determined to give the crowds as good, fair and just first impression of herself as she could.

Luckily for the Southern Twister, the defeated Indian goddess seemed to be friendly enough to accept her offer, even thanking the Alabaman rookie as she pulled her foe up. "No problem... It was a good match! You were tough!" Tasha encouraged Kali while patting her back subtly at the same time, wanting to leave as favorable imprint on her opponent's mind of herself as she could. After that, it was time to make some final poses to the crowds before heading towards backstage, and try to get some well-earned rest and recovery...

And a new, cold bottle of sweet tea.

Unlike her opponent, Great Kali wasn't in a celebratory mood, but at the very least, she dropped her facade, nodding to Tasha. "You were tough too..." The Indian goddess said as she would then watch Tasha made her way out of the ring. Sighing, Great Kali would also make her exit, heading backstage so that she could get herself a shower and a rest.

Next time, she was determined to win. These constant losses were getting too much for her, and she wanted it to change.
