Oh, huh. Looked like Army struck a nerve with the Racker comment.

Army tried hard - so hard - not to laugh when she flared up at the mention, but he couldn’t keep a little smirk from leaking out. It was a low blow, really, and he wasn’t in too much of a position to talk if he was honest with himself. His career had more than its fair share of loses, and not all of them were graceful ones. He knew what it was like to lose.

Granted, he didn’t know what it was like to lose that bad, to someone who sucked that bad, but…

At any rate, the memory of her last match wasn’t making him any more worried as he made his way down to the ring, coming her way with a casual stroll. He perked up a bit when she took her hoodie off and started gearing up, though. Had Hawkeye been this much of a looker the last time they fought? It was a fuzzy memory, but he could’ve sworn she was smaller, last time. Less toned. Less impressive in the chest area. Not a big deal either way, really, but it did pique some curiosity.

He rolled into the ring and popped to his feet, bouncing along in time with her own stance. He kept that up as he made his way to the corner. He tossed off his Westworld t-shirt and threw it over to the timekeeper’s area, then spun about to face her.

”Okay, so,” He worked his arms about, getting out all the kinks. ”I got you with the torture rack last time, right? None of that shit, this time. I’ve got a new move, it’ll take you right out, nice and easy.” He shrugged. ”Might leave you with a headache, but other than that, it’s all good.”

Hawkeye felt her eyes trail up Armys chest as he got in the ring. Had he gotten bigger since she last saw him? More muscles? A little more rugged and handsome?

She shook such thoughts out of her head. Him being attractive didn't matter, she was hear to kick his ass! "Good for you. You won't be getting a chance to use it..

She got her arms up, moving to the center of the ring, moving back and forth, semi-circling around Army, who, despite her surprising growth spurt, was still taller and bigger than she was. She watched, waiting to see his first move...

Hawkeye was confident, Army would give her that. There was no fear in those eyes, no hint of quit, and if she was in any way intimidated by him, she was determined not to let it show. The way she bounced around, the confident steps she took, you would’ve been forgiven for thinking that he was the underdog, here, and that she wasn’t the one wrestling after a several year absence, coming off a pretty low-bar career.

Then again, confidence didn’t equal wins, a fact he knew far too well. So.

Army moved forward and raised his fist, nearing her as she came to meet him in the center of the ring. Now that he was closer, he could see that, yeah, she was definitely bigger than before. Not a giant, but there was more muscle to go around. ”So, did you like, have a second round of puberty or…”

Before she could answer the question, Army jerked forward and stepped in, throwing out a couple of quick jabs from long range. Nothing too hard, just curious to see how well she could take a punch, giving him something to gauge with before he started dropping bombs.

Pff. Puberty. There were only two things he meant by that, and both of them irked her, as did the attempt at luring her in. He had tried the same thing in their first match, the one she had watched on tape repeatedly.

Not this time.

Without replying, she ducked her head, tucked her shoulders and stepped in, throwing a hook out with her left hand, aiming under Army's punch for his right side, following up with a short right handed jab to his stomach before stepping back several steps, out of his range, still hopping on her feet, small grin on the blonde woman's face.

"Better diet, better training, better stretching, better posture. Packed on a bit of muscle, while still keeping this figure you're admiring, and between the rest and some pituitary gland mediation, even got an inch or two taller."

"The girls however, She gestured to her breasts, covered by her bikini top and the vest. "These are natural, you just didn't get to see them last time...don't expect to see them this time either, now you ready to fight?"

Huh. She ducked.

That kind of surprised Army. Not that he was the fastest puncher ever born, but he could throw out a jab swift enough, and he had the range to help him out, too. From what he remembered of Hawkeye, she wasn’t some expert striker or anything.

Yet, somehow, she not only managed to duck his jabs, but got in a couple of good hits, the latter of which knocked some wind out of him. He took a quick, staggering step back and brushed off his side while she spoke, running that little exchange through his head again. The punches were good. Surprisingly good. Professional boxing good.

…so what? So she had some lessons or something over the past few years. Big deal.

He shrugged it off again and raised his guard, moving in with more cautious steps this time. ”You got a gym membership and learned to stand straight. Good for you.” He chuckled and shook his head, before going right back into fight mode.

This time he tried a more direct approach, looking to take her off guard with sudden aggression. Army took a big, lunging step towards Hawkeye and swung wide with a fierce lariat, a move that could put her flat on her back if it connected.

Leave to a muscle head to make 4 years worth of hard training and fighting for a comeback to be summed up and made trivial in just one sentence.

Hawkeye darted her eyes over his impressive body, watching his movements. There it was, a big forward lunge, clearly an attempt at a heavy attack. Sucker. Like before, she ducked and sidestepped, his arm sailing over her head harmlessly. With the lunge and miss certainly putting him, albeit very briefly, off balance, the former soldier stepped in, swinging her leg, aiming a hard kick for the back of his knee!

Okay, so Hawkeye was a little better than before. Maybe. A little.

The old Hawkeye wouldn’t have dodged that swing so swiftly, and probably wouldn’t have had a kick waiting right after, but that was precisely what happened when he came in for the lariat. She ducked, and before he had the chance to spin about start another attack, a strike hit the back of leg and dropped him to his knees with a loud grunt..

Growing more and more frustrated with each passing second, Army tried to cut her off before she could capitalize once again and spun around with his arm out wide, aiming a hard swing at her stomach, the fist going straight towards her toned, tight abs.

Such a sight, too. She really had put a lot of work into bettering her body. Shame he’d have to wreck it.

Indeed, Hawkeye had put a hell of a lot of effort into her beautiful body, and she had no intention of letting Army wreck it again.

She approached him cautiously, knowing a simple kick to the back of his knee wasn't going to keep a big muscular lug like him down. He proved her right, turning and swinging at her, the blonde backstepping and barely, just barely, avoiding the blow, his knuckles brushing against her toned stomatch.

Reaching out, she grabbed the very arm he tried to strike her with and pulled him in towards her, throwing her knee up to try and smash him right in the face!

One of these days, Army was going to catch someone with that move. Someone would kick him in the back of the knee, he’d spin around, and finally, finally, he’d clock them clean in the face.

Just not today. Sadly.

Today, he not only missed, but he paid a hefty price for it. Before he could even think about pulling back for another attack, Hawkeye seized the initiative and yanked his arm down, right into a waiting knee in the face. The crowd gasped at the strike, winced, and rightfully so - it hurt every bit as bad as it looked, with some extra on top.

Army staggered back, looking up at the sky as he went, rapidly blinking while his brain processed the pain. When the moment passed, he looked down and shook his head, trying his best to get all the stars out of his vision. ”Lucky…” He rubbed his nose, straigtening it back out and clearing away any snot that had slipped out. ”Lucky shot.”

Even Hawkeye had to wince after that knee strike. It felt, and looked, like a pretty brutal shot, ant the way Army was trying to straighten out and recover, it must have done a pretty good job at knocking him for a loop. She'd have felt worse about it...but hey, he had it coming.

"Not as easy as you thought it was going to be, huh Army?"

She asked as she moved in close, one hand grabbing at Armys arm again, one gloved hand pressing against his chest to push him against the ropes...only to linger there for a couple brief seconds. "Had uh...had he ALWAYS been this buff?" She wondered, thoughts of her initial impressions of him from years ago running through her head, her fingers slowly trailing down his chest for a second...before she shook her head, and pulled on his arm again, one hand dropping down to cup at his crotch. Not for hentai purposes, though she's sure Army would have loved that, but to try and heave him up, flip him and throw him down with a scoop slam!

Granted, not the most practical move she could do, as it would take effort and strength, hence shoving him off the ropes to add a little momentum, and would hardly end the match...but the idea of it, the message it would send Army, for this "small" girl he once crushed to slam him down? That would be a nice bit of validation.
