Vespa vs Hikaru Sawazaki- Standard Match

Slowly, Vespa chased after her weakened opponent. The red on her face was clear to see, the Invader embarrassed by Vespa’s prodding attacks. Vespa could only imagine what the Royalty was thinking. Only good things, hopefully.

She began to reach for Hikaru, attempting to grab her to further damage her pride, but was surprised by just how fast Hikaru moved. Her opponents fist smashed into her face, causing Vespa to reel to the side, caught complete unaware.

“Dishonorable little-“

She lunged at Hikaru, anger suddenly flairing up as she attempted to grab Hikaru in another choke.

Hikaru needed an opening to really take it to Vespa, but that was not going to come easily! Vespa had managed to shrug off the worst of the backhand strike as she reached in at Hikaru. Trying not to panic Hikaru saw Vespa lunging in and she ducked low, stepping to the side and sending a swift kick right to the back of Vespa's knees as she dodged out of the way!

Hikaru was faster if nothing else. Ironically she had to sting like a bee against Vespa. Hikaru had to keep moving and when she could, she would pick her moment to hammer Vespa! However, one more big move from Vespa and Hikaru was going to be done for!

“ACK!”

A sharp pain shot up through Vespa’s knees, themselves giving out from under her. A fresh wave of pain shot through her as her bed arm hit the floor, trying to catch herself with it. The anger that was ripping her apart inside burst into full force! Vespa beat the ground with her fist before shooting back up, hey eyes burning through Hikaru. Any caution Vespa had earlier was gone, the pain in her arm and the Invader’s constant evasion infuriating the Wasp soldier.

“AAAAAARRRRRGH! ATTAAAAAAAAAAAAACCK!”

With her scream out of the way she charged Hikaru, determined not to let her get away as she had done so before. Vespa attempted to swipe, punch, and kick Hikaru, anything that could help her catch her speedy opponent.

Hikaru saw Vespa getting up and thought she was ready for her. However, the pure rush of aggression that caught Hikaru off guard! She tried to cover up and block, but strike after strike rained down on her! She cried out in pain as she kept covered, blocking a lot of the strikes but still getting herself backed up against the ropes as Vespa's onslaught continued! She ducked low and rolled to her right, stumbling back as she back peddled to create space.

Hikaru was gasping for breath and hurting, the damage had been done by Vespa. She had to collect herself again after those hard, fast strikes.....

Vespa’s attack flew at her opponent indiscriminately. Some hit her head, some hit her legs, others her sides and arms. Whatever Vespa could do to hurt her smaller opponent and slow her down. The resilience of this Invader frustrated Vespa throughout the match, and after the sharp pain in her arm intensified, the frustration exploded into full rage. All Vespa focused on was taking her down.

So much so that when Hikaru rolled to the right, one of Vespa’s punches soared past her and connected with the corner post. Her fist rang against the medal, pain exploding in her hand.

“YAAAAAACCKK!”

With a scream, Vespa gripped her fist. It wasn’t broken, which was good but did little to sooth her anger. Spinning around she shot Hikaru an angry glare. Her opponent seemed winded but was still standing. Something Vespa aimed to fix, rushing her opponent yet again.

“You won’t get away from me this time Invader!”

Hikaru backed up near a corner as Vespa rushed right at her! Hikaru looked on in wide-eyed panic as Vespa rushed right at her! Hikaru had an idea where if this worked she could hopefully knock Vespa for a loop! As Vespa closed in Hikaru ducked low, wrapping her arms around Vespa's legs! Hikaru would lift Vespa up as she leaned back, using Vespa's momentum along with her lift to bring Vespa's jaw down on top of the top turnbuckle!

Hikaru needed this to work otherwise she was as good as dead being this close to the strong striker!

Vespa wanted to end this. To catch this Invader, subdue her, and bring her to the Queen so she could receive final judgement. Yet this slippery little bug kept evading her, hurting her every time she got too close. The dull throb in her nose, the sharp pain in her arm, all of it was a reminder of what Hikaru had done to Vespa throughout the match.

Well, not this time. No matter what pain the Invader had in store for Vespa, she would power through it! She would take her down, and finally end this battle of wills.

Seeing the panic in Hikaru’s face encouraged Vespa on her plan of action. Her opponent was wide open, panicking, what better time to strike than now? She decided to not repeat the mistake she made earlier, and went to attack Hikaru with an open hand, looking to smash her head against the corner post.

Instead Hikaru ducked low, Vespa having to grind to a stop to avoid falling over her. But the Invader didn’t want her to stop, and grabbed her legs, lifting Vespa up using her own momentum to smash Vespa’s jaw hard against the corner Vespa herself had intended to use against her opponent.

Vespa dropped like a sack of bricks, her mind buzzing around while she mumbled about what she wanted to eat. Vespa was completely out f it, open to what ever Hikaru might do next.

Hikaru saw Vespa laying in a daze, giving her the chance she needed! Hikaru tried to scramble her way up the ropes, climbing up and perching up on top as she kept her eyes on Vespa. Could this be it? Could she pull off her finisher and have it do enough to keep this crazy lady down?

Hikaru's mind was racing. As soon as Vespa rose up she would leap off the top rope, jumping towards Vespa. The smaller lady wanted to wrap her legs around Vespa's head and flip her quickly to the mat, the landing hard enough to deal enough damage to let Hikaru keep her rolled up for a pin immediately! The top rope frankenstiener was a move she had practiced over and over.... but she had never used it on a stage as big as this before! Could she pull it off?

Vespa groaned as she began to stand. Where was she again? Who did the Queen send her after? It was all a blur. A crowd was cheering, but why? What was going on?

Vespa would get her answer as soon as she turned around. It was not a verbal answer, but rather Hikaru’s legs wrapping around Vespa’s head. Vespa had now idea what was happening, but in the next moment she was slammed HARD into the ground. Pain blasted up Vespa’s back, herself absolutely stunned by the attack.

Completely knocked out, Vespa was not even aware of the referee slapping the mat right next to her head.

“One…”

"TWO!"

Hikaru held tight, amazed that Vespa wasn't fighting back! She was tense, and in total shock in the next moment.

"THREE!"

Hikaru heard the bell and let go of the pin, standing up and stumbling forward to the ropes, slumped over the top rope as the crowd cheered her victory! She felt the pain and torture of the match catch up with her even more now that it was over. The rookie couldn't even stand on her own as the referee raised her hand up. She looked over at Vespa, figuring that her finisher hit her just right as the woman's power and toughness was unlike anything Hikaru had ever seen!
