An important meeting

Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt arrived at the office of Cassandra Sellers precisely at 1:30, fifteen minutes before her scheduled meeting with the woman who ran the AFW. She was dressed in classy business wear and looked immaculate and beautiful. She was accompanied by her personal assistant, Hilde Von Creuzfeldt, who was dressed in more subdued business attire.

"I believe I have an appointment vith Ms. Sellers at two o clock." She said to the secretary. "If meine personal assisstant needs to vait outside during, zen so be it." She then took a seat and waited to be called in. The german was truly in her element. She was fierce in the ring, but in the board room was where she really shined.

"Of course Ms. Von Creuzfeldt... If you'd like to take a seat I'll let Ms. Seller's know that you are waiting." The secretary left the waiting room and went into Ms. Seller's office. She came out a few moments later and took a seat back at her desk... There was a wait up until 5 or 10 minutes to 2pm, upon which time there was a buzz noise that came from the secretary desk.

"Ms. Sellers will see you now..." She did not specify if Lukretia's personal assistant could follow or not...

The office room was extremely spacious and luxurous... Ms. Seller's sat behind a big mahogony desk, she was dressed in a gray business suit and skirt, wore glasses and had her blond hair tied up at the back.

"Miss Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt... I trust you are well." She spoke, and strangely enough despite Lukretia's attention grabbing video clip, Cassandra did not appear angered... She appeared quite mellow, perhaps even slightly friendly... Normally when wrestlers make their own demands, Cassandra would rain down upon them with hell fire and fury in one way shape or form..

"Please take a seat..." Cassandra looked up at her secretary. "A coffee... black, no sugar." She requested. "Perhap you'd like a drink, Lukretia?"

Lukretia waited silently for her to be received. When the buzz finally came and she stood up. "Excellent." She said and followed the secretary into the room. Hilde followed as well but took a seat near the corener. She would merely be observing and jotting down notes.

"I am doing vunderbar!" Lukretia said flashing a polite smile. She sat down in front of the desk. "Same, black." Lukrtia said and turned to Cassandra. "You vill forgive ze vay I declared meine intentions. It vas not solely for your eyes but also for ze eyes of ze wrestlers in ze league. I vish to conduct business vith you properly. I know ve came come to terms zat are suitable for ze both of us."

"hmm" Cassandra muttered in response to Lukretia's explanation, no real indication as to whether she was impressed or not.

"It was a rather gutsy move... Considering I do hold you wrestling contract here in AFW..." She said flicking through some paper work on the desk that was likely to be a copy of Lukretia's contract "My typical response may have been not to call a meeting, however instead to just set you up against someone like Layne in a barbed wire Iron girl match... Or set you up in a handicap match against a tag team of my choosing, like Eclipse..." Cassandra leaned forwards on her desk and interlocked her finger in front of her face.

"That would have been of course as a way of showing people in this business that not every girl can make claims or demands lightly... Well, at least not make them and get away with it. They need at least to have some leverage or something that I want that they can offer me before doing so. Then and only then will the outcome be different."

The secretary returned with a tray of the two dark coffees, giving Ms. Sellers hers first and then moving to give Lukretia hers... During the interlude, Cassandra took a sip of her coffee and sighed contently

"Would your assistant like something also?" Cassandra asked, directing the question at Lukretia rather then Hilde.

Lukretia gave a cool smile as Cassandra spoke. "Indeed but vat is vorth getting is vorth risking for. It vas a chance I vas willing to take und it vas not a total risk. I vas careful to make meine move ven I did. I vaited until I had built up a reputation. Now, simply getting rid of me vould be an unvise business decision on your part. Und I am villing to accept any match. I am confident in meine own skills."

"But you are right. Aside from zis, if AFW vas successful enough my departure vould only be a temporary setback. Zere are other things I can offer you outside of ze ring. I know zat zis is vhy you vould be gracious enough to entertain me at ze very least." She said giving a knowing smile.

She then shook her head. "Nein." She said to the secretary. "She does not vant anything." Not caring if Hilde really did or not.

The secretary nodded and then left them..

"I do think that you are selling me a little short if you were not the least bit worried when you made your announcement..." She said calmly, her cool icy blue eyes upon Lukretia like knives "A particularly nasty match might be only the start of my response if I had felt the need for it..." She moved her hands away from her mouth and allowed a slight smile...

"But... As you are here in my office and not in a match yet, perhap that risk paid off to some extent." There was a deadly fire within her, but it was a well tempered and controlled fire. Cassandra wanted to give Lukretia specific indications that on some things she should not be tested on, while remaining all the while civil.

"It intrigued me when I heard saw your announcement yesterday... Why is it that you want AFW? Do you crave the finacial gain from investing in this company? Do you want to will power and respect over others in this business? Or do you want to be able to mold and shape the nature of things here in AFW?"

A chess game of this nature was far more rewarding to Lukretia than any kind of physical domination would ever be. She smiled slyly. "If I underestemated you, zen ve vouldn't even be having zis conversation. I velcome your skill as a business voman und overseer." She said carefully eyeing Cassandra.

"I have all ze vealth I could ever vant. Und if it vas money I vanted zere are far more veaker companies to absorb und rebuild. Und even as a mere wrestler I already command enough power to satisfy my desires. But on ze last point..." She let her words hang in the air. "To build a system like ze AFW from scratch... it is not an easy task... Un vile I could do it, It vould be much easier to take ze solid infastructure zat has been built in ze AFW und shape it more to my liking."

She lifted up her cup and took a sip of coffee. "You und I, und our ilk are powerful vomen. I vould like to think ve are kindred spirits in a vay. But zere may be times ven ze strong like us have disagreements or vish to unvind. Ze AFW is ze perfect place for ze strong to come. To settle disputes, to engage in real tests of strength und take in each other's company vithout having to vorry about all ze normal restrictions zat people in our positions have to vorry about.

"Ze rifraf zat runs around in ze halls of ze facility. If zey are not villing to become strong zen zey should know zere place... Can you honestly say zat all ze matches zat you schedule are vorth even viewing? Ze audience comes to see veak people crushed or strong people fight to zere limits...."

Lukretia took another sip. "Personally... I don't think zat ze audience deserves to see someone like me fight..." She was silent for a moment. "But I am no idiot. Vithout zem, zere may not be a comany. It is not only all I have said either. But as a business voman I belive zat ze AFW is limiting itself by staying only in Japan. I vould love to have a similar set up in meine native Deutchland. Ze vorld comes to your business but just thik. If zere vere facilities throughout ze vorld you could find ze best instead of letting all ze rif raff vander in."

She smiled and leaned back. "I am full of ideas as you can see und I desire ze company... but I do not think ve have to be against one another. If ve vork together ve could make vat already is great so much better."

"Unfortunately I am not looking for an equal business partner at this point and I would only take a bid on this company that suited me obviously... However that doesn't mean that you couldn't end up in a position to do the molding that you are suggesting you want to do." Cassandra got up from her seat and went to look out of the window behind the desk.

"You see, there was some truth in what you said in your announcement. My administration has been weakened lately with the lost of some assets... Heaven Ayeme was particularly useful until she retired way before you even came to AFW... Marie Belladonna wasn't so reliable, but with her tag team partner Mimi, I could have used them. On top of that there is what is happening with Silhouette, so I find myself having to take a more hands on role with the paper work of AFW.. And while my attention is diverted and I have less assets to use, the inmates (as you termed them) have gotten a little out of control.

I either need a new a new hand to take on all of the behind the scenes work that Silhouette use to and that I am now finding myself doing... Or someone to be my iron glove down there in the AFW ring and backstage area." Cassandra came away from the window back to her desk, pulling a draw to the side.

"On the table, like I said before, is your current wrestling contract..." She produced another set off papers from the draw and placed it on the table next to her current contract "And here is a new contract, which if you were to sign it would make you the ranking of commissioner here in AFW... Giving you the authority to saction matches and (with my blessing) make decision that would mould AFW Fricition into my vision.. And yours too"

Lukretia listened very carefully to the words of Cassandra. Despite what seemed like an initial rejection Cassandra had indeed offered something that Luketia was interested in. In fact, it may even have been better than what she had in mind. As commissioner, Lukretia would have all the authority she was loking for. It was true she would still have to answer to Cassandra, but for now that was fine. Climbing up the ladder suited the german perfectly fine. She wuldnt reap the benefits of owning AFW but at the same time she woudlnt have to make the costly initial investment and would still have the ability to assert her will.

"Ms. Sellers." Lukretia said as she pulled out a pair of glasses and began to look over the contract. "You are indeed a shrewd business woman. Everything I expected from you." She brought out a pen and signed the contract and pushed it towards Cassandra. "She then smiled coyly. "I vonder if you aren't just as fierce in ... Other areas, outside of ze negotiation table. Lukretia then stood up and held out her hand. "Let us seal the deal properly zen?"

Cassandra smiled

"The fine print is that as commissioner under me, I will expect to have the services of the Meister wrestlers... Obviously you'll be using the wrestlers within Meister to achieve your goals, and on occasion I may have a task or two for them... But I would only ever use them in order to achieve our mutual goals as well. In return the Meister wrestlers will be allied with those under my administration." Cassandra rose from her chair.

"Well? I'm sure you find that satisfactory?" She asked, extending her hand to shake on it.
