What is planned well is already halfway accomplished. That was something that had been taught to Triin already at a young age. That was something that had stuck deep in her mind. And that was guidance that she even followed at times... And it was one of the few things coming up to her mind, as the unfamiliar blood-thirsty huntress was approaching towards the corner.

Unfortunately, what is planned too well, is apparently also too obvious. Despite Triin's adamant confidence in her dropkick saving the day, it didn't. It was as if the blonde attacker had clearly seen it coming. Like it had been the most predictable thing to do. And it wasn't bad news only because its effect was considerably negated, but also because she had now lost her legs.

Well, granted, only the control over them had been lost for now, but looking at the face of the attacker suggested that having to get them amputated was in this case a highly likely prospect.

Horror rushed through Triin's body as her grip of the ropes was promptly lost. And before she knew it, she was being spun around by the ruthless attacker. The twirling motion was something that the Estonian hadn't honestly experienced before! Not like this in a wrestling ring anyway... Unfortunately, this was no situation to appreciate the novelty, as Yuki was effectively reducing the valiant knightess to ballistics.

The slender blonde was sent flying across the ring like a ragdoll, with her head impacting the side of Himeko exactly where Yuki had intended to. Now things appeared obviously very dire. Triin was already exhausted by the match in the first place, and being thrown around only made her head dizzier. The knightess was left laying feebly on the mat, and Himeko was still imprisoned by Fumika's thighs...

AV 17 Rookie tournament: Triin Liiv vs. Himeko Akan - Page 6 Empty Re: AV 17 Rookie tournament: Triin Liiv vs. Himeko Akan

Himeko's face was pretty red at this point, and despite her best efforts, Fumika's legs were far from bring pried off her neck. The woman's thighs were just too strong for the giantess to escape after having already fought in a match. Things were looking very grim, and they only got worse as Triin came crashing down face first into the Heavenly General's side.

"Gah! No...stop...leave her...alone!" Himeko would struggle to growl as her head was being crushed. She hated the fact that not only could she save herself, but the giantess couldn't save Triin either. In fact, the knightess was in this situation because she had tried to help Himeko.

That's what humiliated the giantess the most. The wolf pups weren't after her, they were only here to break the leader of Heavenly White Army. Now Yuki and Fumika had set their sights on Triin, as well. Just because Himeko wasn't strong enough to protect herself. No matter what came next, though, the giantess would make the Dire Pack pay. Nothing would change that fact.

Meanwhile, Friction security were making their way to the ring. It had taken them long enough, but even now they were barely coming through the entrance. If they noticed them, the wolves could easily make their escape. This might be Himeko and Triin's only hope, which was kind of embarrassing, but it was better than getting crippled!

AV 17 Rookie tournament: Triin Liiv vs. Himeko Akan - Page 6 Empty Re: AV 17 Rookie tournament: Triin Liiv vs. Himeko Akan

Yuki was willing to give Triin this much - she had guts. Arguably more than the very woman that had rushed in to save her not long ago. Himeko was large, burly. It's where she got that dumb smile and the air of insufferably perpetual confidence, even if her technical skill was half that of the Wolf Mother’s at best. By the same token, it was easy to charge headfirst into the fray when you were larger than ninety percent of the competition, tired or not.

Triin, though? She was a fawn compared to a large portion of the roster she was expected to hang around. She kept in good shape, but her build was slim, meant more for speed and agility than a straight fist fight. Going toe-to-toe with either of the wolves would have been a challenge in itself, even if her late partner was in the position to help the blonde Baltic. Charging in fresh out of a match was suicide at its most idiotic. Fumika could have broken her in half easily with the state she was in, and the Estonian likely knew that.

Yet she came all the same, taking the fight to the blonde bruiser and swinging that sword like a true knight of old. The stalwart protector, coming to the rescue. It was as admirable as it was cute. Despite what they’d come here to do, Yuki had to give a hint of

Unfortunately for this poor knightess, guts didn’t beget glory. After building enough momentum, Yuki whipped Triin across the ring with an Olympian-esque hammer throw, straight into her former opponent’s side. The impact produced an audible, sickening smack that filled the arena and caused a few of the Russian onlookers to turn their heads away as Triin fell limp on the ground. Fumika, for her part, merely widened her eyes in surprise as she brought her gaze over to the Claw, her feats of strength never failing to impress the less jaded audience. Yuki steadied herself after launching the knight wiping her hands and strolling over to the two mangled excuses for human beings as she contemplated a way to quickly bring things to a close. That is, until Himeko for some reason found an excuse to speak again.

Yuki stopped beside them, looking down at the giantess and standing beside Triin’s limp form. “Hurry up and crush her throat.” She said, crouching down. “Sick of hearing her talk.” Fumika gave her a colleague a warm smile and a slight giggle. “There was no need to ask, Yuki-san.” She cranked the pressure on her legs as Yuki turned her attention back to the knightess. She grasped the blonde woman’s arm, holding the upper section with two hands and looking into her eyes with a sharp glare as she began to apply a alarming amount of pressure, twisting one hand forward and the other in the opposite. “When you get to the infirmary, tell them it's a ‘spiral fracture’. Might actually step into the ring again if they’re quick.”

Second by second, bit by bit, Yuki would crank the pressure, feeling the bone grate beneath the skin in the most efficient, painful manner possible. She had nothing against Triin, which is why she’d gone for something so decidedly simple in its brutish nature. A broken arm was typically a good enough deterrent to stay out of a fight, the shock to the system rendering the body nigh immobile, focused on nothing but the agony. That was all she was looking for, to get this done and move on to what they were here for before…

...damn it.

When she looked up, a line of security guards had surrounded the ring. She released Triin’s arm and stood back up, taking a quick grandeur around the arena before placing a hand on her hip and letting out an annoyed sigh. Usually, these sorts of post-match outbursts were allowed to go on for quite a while for the sake of publicity and some extra viewership. AFW tended to treat them as extra fanfare, a little icing on the cake for those in attendance. Not this time, as expected. They were a tad more protective of their trademark events. Security had arrived in record time. No way out.

Yuki whistled to Fumika, who snapped out of her concentration, visibly annoyed at having been interrupted for a second time in such a short period. She shot her colleague a slight glare before taking a look around at the toy soldiers around them. Dinner scraps, at best. They could cut through them, with some difficulty albeit, but the blue-eyed aggressor stuck to the agreed plan. She uncurled her legs, stood up, dusted herself off, and traipsed over to Yuki’s side, her hands folded in front of her. The two stood stock still, hardly moving an inch for a moment until Yuki took another glance at her watch. With one last sigh, she looked up to the stage lights as her warmer associate threw a parting wave to their mangled prey. The next instant, each security guard stepped in through the ropes, moving to apprehend the two...and the lights went out. An “issue” with the generators, an overload whose timing was too exact to be coincidence. Whatever the cause, the outcome was the same. A few seconds later, the lights came back on.

And just like that, they were gone. Nothing but confused murmurs and the lingering anguish to imprint their presence until the next event came along. Anguish that Manami truly had served as one of many lessons arriving in the oncoming storm.
