Women were easier to fight than men. Or, at least, not difficult in the same way. Felina had taken on far more of the former than the latter, for one thing, so she was more familiar with the way they moved, struck, even the way they thought. Beyond that, men tended to move slower and hit harder and take far more hits before they go down. So Felina had to go slower, pick her shots, and above all, be patient.

She could take Marc down. She’d beaten men before. None as stacked as this, but…

Doing that would require her keeping him at a distance. She thought she’d done a good job of that...at first. But while she was faster than Marc, she might have miscalculated on just how much faster she was. This dude was no slowpoke slugger, and he closed the distance with a startling burst of speed.

The hook made its mark, crashing hard into her side and rattling her ribs. It was only by half-chance that she managed to stumble out of the way and avoid the follow up, a heavy blow that would’ve dropped her fast.

Now she was on the defense, throwing out a quick snap kick to his gut, just a quick, weak hit to keep him at bay while she backpedaled.

Even if Marc wasn't a professional fighter and still has some edges to smooth, one shouldn't make a mistake that he's not some slow, lumbering guy that is all power and nothing else. Anyone that has seen him knows he could strike well, maybe not so with the best of the best, but could hold his own in some way.

Had Felina met him when he was starting out, Marc's hits wouldn't be as strong as the ones he threw in now. But he's come to respect that not all women are damsels that need extra care. They are competitors. Plus, getting some experience against a kickboxing champion certainly helps. The added bonus of said champion being hot too.

Marc's hook hits its mark right to her ribs, the taped fist struck hard. the "uppercut-straight" punch would probably had dropped her and would have been a confidence booster if she did take the champion down to the canvas. However, she would only stumble back and avoided the punch. This would leave his arm extended in the air and Felina throwing out a snap kick to his gut, not powerful but enough to keep him there as she would backpedal.

The gentleman would reel back his arm and get into his stance, getting some air in his lungs. "Close one there." He would smile to Felina, giving a nod.

Felina’s kick wasn’t the best one she’d ever thrown, not exactly the finest example of the Rodriguez pedigree, but it was enough - just enough - to do the trick. Marc backed off for the moment, and she was given some much appreciated breathing room. More than that, it seemed to make him get the message, as he backed off and started giving her a wide berth.

She tensed up and went into a tighter stance, but Felina was smirking behind the gloves. This was her preferred range, where she could do her best work. Keeping a big lug like this in the right zone wouldn’t be easy, but…

”Close doesn’t count for much, big guy.” She wagged a quick finger as she edged her way in, bare feet sliding across the canvas as she approached.

With those words, she moved forward with a sudden burst and closed into mid-range, trying to come in before Marc could properly react. She led with her fist, coming in with a simple one-two from the right and left, before throwing out the meat of her offense with a powerful roundhouse kick to Marc’s side.

Marc was noticing more and more as the match went on. Despite the charming look, he was learning more about her opponent, more on her style. He had hoped that he'd impress the lethal Latina with his punches, certainly getting close to dumping her on her ass.

As Felina gets her breathing room, Marc takes advantage of that too, regulating his breathing. "For my case,
it probably does."
Marc joked. Start off with low expectations and such.

Felina came in yet again, going on the offensive side as she closed in. For the first time, Marc saw her punching. Guess she's not all kicks after all. Unlike one person....

He brought his arms up to block the simple one-two punch combo, feeling her foam padded fists hitting his guard. And there comes the roundhouse kick that followed after that. And quickly as he tried to get his arm down, his elbow only got a bit of Felina's foot before it hit him right on his side. "Gahhh!" He really felt that as it cut into his side, almost bending over the side where the kick landed. A pained look on his face as he backpedals to the side, trying to throw out a straight at about collarbone level, just attempting to keep her at bay.

Felina’s punches were throwaway blows - coming from the Rodriguez family, she was genetically engineered throw out damaging punches, but they were far from her bread and butter. No, that honor was reserved for her legs, and that was what she used to come close the distance on Marc and keep the pressure up. A good pattern was starting to emerge: distraction up top, real damage below.

The kick did the trick forcing him back, getting him closer to the corner where she could start to really wail on him. She came in quick, eager to press her advantage, but maybe she was a bit too quick - Marc threw out a cross that could’ve floored her, if she hadn’t managed to jut her chest back at the last second.

It was a narrow escape, but one she didn’t have a problem capitalizing on. She brought up her leg, chest-high, and extended it with a powerful thrust, looking to bury it in Marc’s chest and sent him into the turnbuckle with a powerful thrust.

Damn, she kicks hard.

Then again, she is a kickboxing champion. So experiencing that kind of power coming from her legs is to be expected. Doesn't mean that he couldn't be impressed by it. While he's not new to kicks himself, he kept on with the boxing game and see how that goes.

His inexperience does show, never a semi-pro, pro or even an amateur, he does with what he learned in the streets. The gentleman couldn't have this woman do as she pleases so he would throw out a jab towards the Latina.

Sure, she did come in quick, but even she was experienced and it would have connected if her chest didn't jut back, missing by inches. With that keep away punch failed, Felina could push in on her advantage.

Her leg came up and before he knew it, the Perfect Gentleman took a hard Spartan kick that sent him back even more! "Guuuhh!" Did he feel his ribcage bending that time? Who knows, but it was still hard and sent him smacking back first into the turnbuckle.

Ah great.

Now with his back against the proverbial wall, Marc could only tighten his guard and keep most of his body shielded. About as much as he could do as she would no doubt follow him...

A little pressure, some proper positioning, a well-timed and aimed kick, and viola! Felina had Marc in the corner, right where she wanted him. Carmen wasn’t the only Rodriguez who could cook something sweet up.

She let out a triumphant ”Ha!” when he hit the turnbuckle, loving the impact. Marc was no weakling, but she was starting to get the man’s rhythm, learning him well enough to start picking him apart. She was setting the pace, and as long as that was the case, he was hers to dismantle.

Marc was clearly not that experienced, but still knowledgeable enough to get his guard up as she came in. How much would that help him? Eh…

Felina moved in, weaving left and right, before she closed the distance with a right cross to his guard. She didn’t expect it to do much, really, knowing it wasn’t likely to connect.

No, what she wanted to connect was the knee that came after, as she lunged forward and shot it towards Marc’s stomach, looking to sink it in deep. With the turnbuckle preventing any retreat, it would be twice as effective, and a good way to pile on some quick damage.

Marc did hear that the Rodriguezs family are tough and can hit hard, Felina being the younger one certainly doesn't disappoint. Much to the pain that Marc is feeling.

His back hit the turnbuckle hard and he let out a grunt. Felina was starting to figure him out. He may know well enough to keep his guard up but would that help him? Well...

... only for the right cross on his guard but it wasn't much. No, that was to set up for the knee that came up and struck right to his stomach. "Guaahh!!" As if he couldn't be driven back into the turnbuckle even more with that, his body bending from the kick, feeling some air knocked out of him. Even his own guard was failing him.

Damn, she kicks hard!

The ‘blood in the water’ moment, as Felina’s father always like to call it. The moment when you have an opponent against the wall, everything slides into place, and your opponent becomes, essentially, a living punching bag.

Marc was in that position, right now. Felina was determined to make sure he didn’t enjoy it.

”Sorry, handsome.” She smirked as she moved in, looking like a cat with a nice, limp mouse to play with. ”Nothing personal.”

Up came Felina’s arms, grasping behind Marc’s head, holding him in a tight clench. Her knees followed, raising up fast, two solid strikes aimed to hammer into his chest with fire and fury. She didn’t hold anything back, knowing her attacks would have to be at their level best to even hurt this guy, not to mention putting him down for the count.

This was bad. This was really, really bad for the Perfect Gentleman.

In most of his career in AFW, he didn't think he had been hit that hard, which shows how powerful Felina's kicks were. Probably the former french model that he faced before but this certainly takes the cake so far. And Marc had to find out the hard way as he's trapped in the corner with a kickboxing champion.

At least she thinks he's cute. That's something.

Compliments aside, Marc apparently didn't get enough with the stabbing knee treatment as Felina caught the guy in a tight clinch before sending some hard and solid knees that even Rebecca's paled in comparison to. "Argh!
Gaugh!"
His ribcage feeling like it would have break if she hit even more harder, the two shots was enough to have his legs buckling under the guy and going down on one knee, that is if Felina didn't hold him up during the clinch. Coughing hard, a definite pained look on his face.

Jesus H. Christ...
