Gobble gobble, Happy Turkey day!
Happy Thanksgiving to anyone who celebrates, and just a good ol' fashion great day to everyone else! Whatever you wind up doing, be it staying in or heading out, be safe and responsible. For those of you that DO celebrate, or used to but not anymore, what were some of the staples of your Thanksgiving dinner?
We have a few with my family, chief of them is a deconstructed turkey. Basically, it's a super big boy stuffed turkey where you separate most of the meat from the bone and fill just about every nook and cranny with stuffing. Baked stuffed mushrooms are a personal favorite of mine as well. I will be spending this Thanksgiving with my immediate family as well as a few cousins, and I know their signature is a smoked duck, which is fab. Cranberry sauce is a tradition was well. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but I love the super sweet variety that comes from a can, much to the chagrin of the rest of my family. They tend to prefer the home made kind, but they are considering enough to supply me with my preference at well.

Both sides of my family are coming to visit today. WOO! (Don't hate me but I am not a fan of turkey)

Turkey isSome times it's just the bird itself, or just not good experience with how it is prepared. This is assuming the person in question isn't vegan or a vegetarian. So you're all good. Everyone has different tastes.

Well I'm from the UK. Don't think we give a shit about Thanksgiving. And until recently, we didn't celebrate Black Friday either
